Thanks, I’m glad you like them! I try to pick my books carefully 🙂 Definitely looking forward to trying 52, but there are lots of other books on my reading list too. It’s certainly a hobby that keeps you busy 😅

oh my god, im so jealous of these...I didn't like road to no mans land at all but oh my god, the actual even is one of the best, 52 is also amazing but I feel like if you haven't read infinite crisis it would be confusing. I've been wanting to buy 52 omni for sooooooooo long now but it's way too expensive for my taste.

Fantomex! Thanks, I never would’ve guessed that name 😄 And yeah, one day I plan to do a “Crisis read-through”, going from Infinite Earths > Infinite > 52 > Final. Not sure why the MSRP for 52 is so high, but it seems to go on sale pretty often so hopefully you can find it for a good price somewhere!

I've only recently started collecting Omnis, was looking at IST. What's that like shipping to Canada cost wise? How do they handle duty fees? Probably only really worth it if you have a couple books to "split" the cost I would guess.

      Welcome to the hobby!
It depends on where you are exactly. I’ve found it to be the cheapest option for me by quite a decent margin, but yes I usually wait for sales and I bundle a few books into each order to offset the shipping, which tbh is quite reasonable.
If you have a FedEx payment account already set up, you won’t get hit by any extra FedEx ROD fees, only tax, which is just 5% for books.
So for context, my last order from IST of 3 omnis (52, NML, Sirens) including shipping and tax came to $350 CAD. If I were to have ordered these from Amazon at current prices, it would run me almost $500. Even if Amazon was having a sale, in the best case I’d still be paying upwards of $400. So quite a bit of savings 🙂
Sorry for the long response but I hope this helps out!

@@SuperFlyComicsGuy So you just made a FedEx account and when IST sends you a FedEx invoice you make a payment with that on the FedEx site? Or is there a specific type of account you need to have? As for Amazon yeah I've just been watching the specific books I want and trying to snipe them when their price gets low.

Just a standard FedEx account with autopay enabled. And yeah I still order from Amazon on occasion, but usually only once the discount approaches close to 40% off or more, which doesn’t happen that often

@@SuperFlyComicsGuy Thanks for the info i'm going to look into doing this in the future. I guess what i'm missing is how FedEx gets the order and knows to charge it. Is this something you submit to them via their site and they auto charge you, or does it happen when you order from IST and select FedEx? I did a test order and didn't see a place to add your FedEx account info for shipping purposes, only the option to select FedEx for shipping.

You don’t have to provide anything else. When the shipping label gets created, the address information is tied to your FedEx account, so that’s how they know which account to automatically charge.
One caveat I will mention is that I believe the autopay method can be a little finicky if you pick Int’l Economy, so I make sure to pick Int’l Priority. Not a big deal because when I bundle a few books together, Priority only ends up costing about a dollar or so more than Economy.
