The fact they accomplished EVERYTHING in less than 90 minutes meanwhile they take 5 WHOLE SEASONS to defeat Hawkie is astonishing 🙃

okay i love how gabe was desperate in this movie instead of just plain crazy. In the show, he had the option to use the hard drive, go back in time, and save emilie but he still chose to go after lb and cn bc he was so obsessed with defeating them. He tried to justify it by saying he was saving emilie, but honestly, it was bc he wanted to defeat ladybug and cat noir. In the movie, he truly was desperate and depressed, and was truly doing this for emilie and adrien. When he realized what he had done, he accepted his mistakes and apologized to adrien. He seemed like a sad man who felt like he had no purpose in life without a full complete family, but in the end he realized his purpose was adrien. He listened to adrien’s advice and let her go. He accepted her death instead of going crazy and trying to literally murder teenagers. Also, i feel like in the movie, the reveal was great, but it didnt hit as hard as it will in the show because the buildup wasnt as intense. Obviously since it’s a movie, it has to he shortened, but i really wish this is how it happened in the show, just with more buildup. I love how they focused on them being stringer together and really actually needing each other to fight and defeat villains bc in the show half the time cat noir is shown to be useless and ladybug is capable of doing everything on her own.

One of the things that Jeremy needs to fix Zoe Lee was to give her a backstory because her backstory is only told in her debut episode. They didn't show anything else about Zoe. She is there to replace Chloe as the new Bee Miraculous Holder and to destroy Chloe's redemption arc.

My friend who barely watches miraculous watched the movie and just said “they accomplished everything in 90 minutes and barely accomplished it throughout 5 seasons, im done with the whole show without watching it” 💀
My only complaint was that there was no lucky charm. Then again everyone knows how BROKEN it is so it makes sense why the wouldn't put it in the movie. It's just iconic to the show so 🤷♂️
They did kind of have it. It just wasn't an item, it was more of a sense type thing, like her being able to see spots to know where to swing to. They didn't seem to have time limits on their transformations either.
@dragonninja3655 first of all, the sight is just Marinette thinking, that’s how characters put ideas together in the show and second of all the time limits only happen AFTER they use their powers
@@LunaLovegoodLife yes, that is what I was saying. They didn't really have their full powers, so they weren't timing out. And while in the show I know a writer said the seeing dots was just Marinette's thoughts, the movie might have made it an actual power.
2:07 Given that Emily's body was wearing the peacock miraculous as a necklace, I think there is still a chance Adrien is a senti. Even though I used to hate that theory a lot, now I personally think that, if they execute this concept well, it could add a lot of stakes (with all the control and Adrien's life depending on the object with the amok) and also throw a little existentialism in the mix.

Hawkmoth was a shockingly good singer, and his song was probably my favorite. Some parts kinda remained me of “Be Prepared” from the Lion King though-

I love Veronica Mayday so much!!! Mostly her design and sass, but Christina can sing so well!
A lot of people doesn't like the movie Adrien because of what he said about Mari being clumsy.
But i personal like him the movie, he feels more like an actual character. In the show, it feels like he has to like what Mari does right on the spot but in the movie, he thinks she weird which its normal I mean girl somehow would on trip on air. He's a teenager, dealing with a lot of stuff between his father being cold and his mom passing. Plus i think realistic how he acts in the movie.
Exactly, considering he never went to a school before and never socialiazed with her, I think it makes sense him thinking she's weird.

Why this movie is better than the show?
My brain hasn't turned into a pile of mush unlike in the show where I'm struggling to keep my brain from melting after seasons of love squares and triangles and all sorts of polygons as well as the inconsistent writing with characters such as Gabriel. The movie really redeemed him in a personality aspect. He doesn't flip-flop from "Even if you are indeed Cat Noir, I wish nothing terrible to happen to you, son" to "My son is Cat Noir?! It cannot be! I must beat the ever-loving tar out of him and akumatize him to destroy Ladybug and steal her miraculous!" I feel like what we got from Gabriel Agreste in this movie is what we had in season 1 and 2 until they decided to go off the rails and turn him into a laughable unforgiving monster of a father.
That’s because they made the movie less complex so people who haven’t seen the show can enjoy it :3

Despite it's flaws I like the movie better than the TV show. Mainly because they when from point A to point B instead of dragging it out like the show. Plus, I like the characterization of Marinette and Adrian in the more in the movie than the TV show. Marinette and Adrian felt more like teenagers and it feels more organic. Definitely glad they didn't give movie Marinette any creepiness or stalker personality like her TV counterpart. And I'm glad Adrian in the movie has some backbone to stand up against his dad unlike his TV counterpart. However, I do wish they show more of Gabriel and Adrian's estranged relationship. Especially during the third act because if they show more father-son relationship between Gabriel and Adrian than the ending would've been a little more emotional. Which is why I wish the creative team tone down the songs in this movie. I didn't mind the songs, but the songs did got in the way of character development and story. But overall I still like the movie. Hopefully there's a sequel in the future.
Show's task is going from point A to B. Point A is S1E1, point B is S5E26. That's what we call a story arc
@FlawPink Lmao! The fact they drag out the romance between Marinette and Adrian across 5 seasons is both bullshit and lazy writing. The whole romance between Marinette and Adrian should've been done in either season 2 or 3. But no Thomas Astruc and the other writers just keep dragging out with a bunch of "What If" episodes or trying to convince the audiences why they can't be together. It's just a waste of time. If they planned out the romance better would've been okay with it.

I really hope we have just the five heros instead of everyone in Mari’s class getting a miraculous. Just having five heros was enough in my opinion. ❤️🖤🧡💚💛 Ladybug, Cat Nior, Rena rouge, Carapace, and Queen Bee. And Chloe will actually have a good Redemption arc.

Ngl season five just seems rushed because the producers were eager to make a new season or just pump out the movie asap so the fandom would just shut up about their dissatisfaction, but they definitely made up for it with the movie, the characters just looks more real and realistic than the perfect life mari had the adrienette was a mess (even worse in the show) but ladynoir ATE, either way I’m worried what pain the producers are gonna put us through with the upcoming seasons 💀💀

A couple days? When the scenes with the original miraculous theme song was on and it showed parts of them fighting lots of different akumas i thought of it as showing what happened over a longer period of time than afew days, mabye over a year?
As someone who love musicals I really think this movie didn't suit to be a musical. Though it feels like they were trying to bring a classic disney vibe to it. The songs where Marinette sings her heart out and everything around her becomes so magical, a typical villain song with lots of green and shit. I mean, i can't say I didn't missed those kind of musicals, just don't think it's for MLB
One of the things I dislike abt this movie is the fact that yes we did get some emotional build up but not enough to make me feel anything during the end imo + I wish there was more angst tbh (maybe that's just me lol). And I completely agree with u on the topic of Adrienette bc it felt very rushed (if that's the right word). Also that careless whisper scene was SO UNNECESSARILY FUNNY LMAO

I totally agree with you.. In series adrien fell for marinette for who she actually is, while in the movie he only loved her because he found out she was ladybug. And yes it shouldn't have been a musical tbh. I liked the animation so much and the song stronger together. But adrien from the movie and from the series feels like two totally different persons. He called marinette 'weird' in the movie(totally fine tho) but the actual adrien that we know from series would never say something like that.Overall I liked the movie but I am looking forward to the series too. I love them both❤
I mean he did say that the girl behind the masked had saved his heart. He liked Marinette for who she is, because Marinette is Ladybug and Ladybug is Marinette.

Actually no. See the thing is, in the series, he’s pretty much “in love” with marinette because the plot demands him to be and it’s not believable. Whereas in the movie, they are in love with each other, but they don’t realize they’re the same person yet. Adrien likes marinette but he also doesn’t know she’s the girl behind the mask and when he finds out, he cries because the confusion and misunderstanding is cleared. Because the girl behind the mask is the girl who loved him back which is a weight lifted from his heart. And marinette is in love with CN but her heart belongs to Adrien. They are actually friends as civilians who get to know one another and build a healthy relationship except for knowing each other’s true identities. Then they’re best friends in their superhero persona. Marinette loves Adrien’s funny goofy and even flirty side as CN, and Adrien actually loves LB as a civilian despite her weird klutzy timid side; however, because they don’t know each other’s identities, the confusion has to be cleared for them to understand their emotions better. Their relationship is actually built up in a healthy manner. And once the uncertainty is clear, they are relieved to know that the person they love didn’t reject them because they simply didn’t like them, but rather because there was a misunderstanding. In the show, they still don’t like each other as both sides and there’s still no healthy relationship where they can trust and love each other enough for both to know each other as civilian and hero persona.

And I don't hate the show makers for not revealing. Because once they do it the series is gonna be end which nobody in mlb fandom actually wants. Chloe Bourgeois broke free from an akuma. It was astonishing. The akuma released from her picture with Ladybug and she gasped for air as she broke free of his wretched mind control.
Chloe rocked.
Hawk Moth shocked.
He collapsed in his layer.
"Dark wings fall!" He detransformed into Gabriel and looked at his ally, Mayura. She was his last hope. Mayura, her eyes filled with lust, reached her hand out for Hawk Moth as she picked up her ally.
"I want to help you. All the way to the end. No matter the cost, my dear Gabriel." The two shared a heartfelt kiss and a hug as Gabriel cried... While he knew that Nathalie was risking her life, he wanted Emilie back so badly...
They both pulled apart from the embrace and Gabriel felt his heart sink to his chest as Nathalie attached the broken peacock brooch.
"Duusu, spread my feathers!" She commanded, as Duusu disappeared into his miraculous, a blue magical light covering the woman as she transformed. Taking one feather, she infused it with her magical power and nodded at Hawk Moth.
"Fly, my akuma! Someone must be nearby with further negative emotions. Fly and evilise them!" Hawk Moth commanded, telepathically communicating with his butterfly from a distance as he finally sensed his new victim. Sabrina was tired of Chloe always waiting to get the bee miraculous and wanted to recover her friend. They could be Ladybug and Cat Noir for real...
Sabrina was thereby evilised into Miraculer; a villain with a sentimonster who could suck people's power away from them...
Meanwhile, Ladybug and Cat Noir were on a rooftop together.
"How should we... " Ladybug stuttered, unsure of herself. Unsure of what to do. Unsure of who would replace Chloe as the holder of the bee comb...
" I know Chloe made mistakes, malady. But so do we. Chloe has the true sting of a bee. I don't think anyone would wield the bee miraculous better than her. " Cat said, holding her hand and pulling her into a hug. Their embrace, however, was hastily interrupted as they were attacked by Miraculer. Pinning Cat to the ground, she ordered her sentimonster to steal away his cataclysm. But, before it could touch Cat, he ran off and leaped away on his staff, to find a safe place to hide. Ladybug threw him the bee miraculous from a distance which he quickly catched.
Hawk Moth, from his lair, was in panic once again. Nathalie suddenly began coughing and broke out in a sudden sweat. She ended up close to detransforming, but, through all the coughs, through pain, she mustered the energy. At the snap of her fingers, the amok was released. Hawk Moth de akumatised Sabrina aswell. They needed to come up with a plan.
"Hmmm. Ladybug and Cat Noir think there's still a villain and a sentimonster. We need to follow them around. We will find out their little secrets and finally seize the miracle box!" Hawk Moth told Nathalie as they both laughed maniacally. Hawk Moth ran off in one direction, Mayura in the other. Both began chasing after Ladybug and Cat Noir, but hid themselves well so that the heroes would not notice anything. Cat Noir, hidden in an alleyway, attached the bee miraculous. "Claws in!" Upon hearing the detransformation phrase, Mayura reached in the alley and grabbed out Cat Noir by the foot. From the ground, Adrien Agreste turned around his head triumphantly.
In shock, Mayura let go of her victim's leg and let out a gasp.
"Adrie-?? Huh, what?"
"No! Plagg, pollen, unify!" A black yellow light covered the boy from head to toe as he transformed, kicking Mayura's face. He somersaulted in the air and struck a triumphant pose.
" Call me Bee Noir!"
Mayura had many feelings at this moment. Anger, resentment, everything in between. But... What to do? She had to fight her enemy, even if it was none other than the boy she had loved as her son...
" Think of all the times you were nearly akumatised! How could you-
"Yeah, but just nearly though! Venom!"
Mayura was stronger and smarter than she looked. She remembered that Adrien was truly a monster of feelings. She may not have the ring, but she was the holder of the peacock miraculous. She put her fingers together and threatened to snap them, the senti boy suddenly froze... Mayura let out a triumphant laugh as she stung him with his own venom and took both miraculous away from him, leaving a detransformed Adrien. She ran off and would follow Hawk Moth's plan. But she wouldn't reveal the fact that... Their enemy, of many moons was their own son. She could tell Gabriel the same story and make up anyone, but in her heart she had respect still, for her own son. She controlled him but couldn't bear the thought of destroying him; even as she seized his miraculous. She arrived at the Bourgeois hotel, but saw something that left her astonished. A turtle hero, not Carapace, in a shield and Hawk Moth with the miracle box. Chloe stood there as she watched all of this go down, no Ladybug in sight. She must have escaped. Mayura presented her hand to Hawk Moth and he laughed evilly as he attached the black cat ring. Mayura then reached out her hand to Chloe.
"What has your heroine, Ladybug ever done for you? Join us and your dream will finally come true!"
Chloe's face was filled with anger as she knew that they were right, she had too much faith in her main villain. Hmmm...
" NOTHING! LADYNOTHING HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING FOR ME! I WILL JOIN YOU! AND I WILL GET YOU HER MIRACULOUS!"
She attached the bee miraculous into her hair, neutralising the effect it had on Adrien since it was now in the possession of another holder.
"Wha-!" Adrien stuttered in panic and fear. The black cat ring was gone from his finger. The bee comb disappeared from his hair. He started cyring and collapsed on the floor, he was such a bad superhero and had failed as Cat Noir. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"You haven't lost me, my loyal partner..."
It was Ladybug, Cat Noir thought... Yet it wasn't Ladybug. He looked up and saw a familiar face. Marinette Dupain Cheng.
Shocked, confused... He took Mari's hand and they pulled eachother into a long, heartfelt embrace. Finally knowing eachothers' true identities and the fact that they were in deep love, but could never truly realise it. But they also knew that now was not the time for such sentiments. They were heroes, with or without the costumes. Once Jade Turtle was defeated, Hawk Moth would unify both miraculous and destroy the world. They had to act, and fast.
Meanwhile, Queen Bee transformed after reprimanding Pollen for trying to reason with her. Marinette and Adrien had changed into superhero costumes so as to hide their identities. For Adrien it was useless anyway... But still... Superheroes always take precaution.
" Tikki, Plagg, we're here! Everything will be okay! Queen Bee, Hawk Moth is our enemy! We can't let him get hold of the miracle box!" Ladybug yelled.
"Venom! Hahah... You naives!" Queen Bee chuckled. Ladybug and Cat Noir were in shock and couldn't fight against her... They had only hidden their identities but this was magic... Mayura turned around and laughed, it was so evil, dark and twisted. But, what was even more twisted was Queen Bee as she used venom on the despicable bird's back, paralysing her... Upon doing this, everyone's mouth was wide open. Taking advantage of Hawk Moth's shock, Queen Bee grabbed him with her spinny top and seized the black cat ring and ladybug earrings from him, tossing them to the heroes. She warded Hawk Moth off and fought with her spinning top, allowing the two heroes time to transform...
" Well done, Chloe, I underestimated you. It is because of you that we will defeat Hawk Moth today. Hawk Moth, today, whatever happens, it's the end this time! We are not seperate and will never make the mistake of being seperate from eachother ever again! We are a duo! We fight together!" Ladybug lectured him as she pulled the villain towards her with her yo-yo..."
" We are LADYBUG AND CAT NOIR!" Both heroes yelled in unison as they advanced on the pathetic butterfly holder, having Queen Bee to thank for it. Today she had proven herself not just a worthy holder, but a permenant holder...

I liked that they did a reveal. Except it cancels out so many other possibilities like the love square flip (as you said in the video). They might do other heroes in the next movie but it would be so weird if they did it and Ladybug and Chat Noir knew each other's identities.
the movie was kinda like ladynoir and Adrienette coming to life (THE MOST POPULAR SHIPS!) I was so happy abt it! I definitely liked the movie better. But I am also excited to finish the actual series! Ik this comment is super long but too bad 😂. In my opinion the songs were catchy, but I didn’t think it should have been like a musical. my favorite song was my lady like that was top notch fr fr and I also agree with u with most of the stuff but yeah srry this is so long again
The thing with Marinette and the singing killed me so bad i was watching then the first song came on and i was like, "what the damn hell- why is it someone else???" Lol😂
I think that Zag should release the full version of the film without cutting out anything from there that was at the beginning, because there are a lot of plot holes in the film, even if it would last more than 2 hours, but there would be a more understandable plot. Zag did not calculate that the main community had matured and would be ready to watch longer
Should’ve been longer or 2 movies. They packed too much into the last 20 minutes of the film. There was some plot that could’ve been expanded on, like ladybugs ‘miraculous ladybugs’. I get the the audience already knows ladybug has that power. But this lore is clearly different and it would’ve been nice for that to be elaborated on. More screen time for the ships. More screen time for the plot.
That being said, this movie is a huge improvement from the series and is so visually stunning it kinda makes up for it.

idk if Zag was forced into a certain time frame, but the movie could’ve benefited a lot if it was 2hrs instead of 1hr30mins. hopefully the future movies can make up for the lack of content.

Honestly yeah, every single point was incredibly accurate and I agree with everything-
I’m gonna be honest though… I kind of HATED the kwamii’s in this movie… Tikki was ok, but I feel like she was more sassy and rude rather then encouraging- she still was a bit encouraging at times but more- “oh! This is your destiny! You have no choice in life!”
While in the show Tikki was like: “You can do it Marinette, I know you don’t understand but your Ladybug for a REASON!” Now Plagg on the other hand… I hated his movie version SO. MUCH. Sure he only got a few minutes of screen time but he was just- not- it- his show version was sassy, annoyed at most things, normally lazy, but he still had emotions… in the movie he was just.. lazy and disgusting… I feel like neither of the Kawmii’s has ANY emotion in the movie… Also- the meeting of Adrien and Marinette… we didn’t get the ✨iconic✨ umbrella scene- which I’m honestly kinda ticked about- The way they met was SO stupid and I just- I didn’t like it at all… also I think Marinette was basically the outcast of the school… the clumsy girl nobody likes, because disaster follows her everywhere, which I actually kind of liked that about her, and as the movie progressed she became less clumsy and more confident in herself (after like… three songs- though the iconic “theme song” I felt was necessary to be a kind of parallel for the show) and- as a person who loves musicals, I honestly hated the fact this movie was a musical- anyway that’s my little rant concluded because it’s midnight and I’m getting to tired to write anymore

It definitely is the same voice for Chloe, shes just doing it differently. I think shes trying to make her sound more natural and not like a brat incarnate. You can tell its the same because there are some lines where she will go between the weird sounding movie voice and the series voice as Chloe becomes more annoyed mid sentence.

What I like about the voice actor who sings for Adrian is that he actually almost sounds like him. If they had just gotten a singer who almost sounded like Marinette then everything would be fine with the music part for me.
The singing voice change was most likely a publicity thing since the singer in the movie is a French popstar. She actually sung an official cover of the theme song a year or two ago with a different male singer then is in the movie.

I loved the movie. I have no idea where I can finish the series but honestly, I don't even want to, it sounds like it will just stress me out and I feel like the movie finished everything up. Like it put parts of the whole series (at least as far as I have seen.) into the whole movie. I think when you said "I think we spend more time singing than we do telling the story" is true, however, I loved the songs. I think the voice change for Marinette was unnecessary but I did enjoy the sound of her voice. I love these videos btw, I love listening to your opinions.

I think that every character looked AMAZING! buuuttt, they did Luka DIRTY, like…… I do however like the show more than the movie just because I love shows that you can watch for a long time, whereas a movie it’s only about 1 hour long. I am very very excited for the next movie though!😊😊😊
I watch this movie the second time and found out that Luca was going to school instead of staying home
What i hope to see in the second movie:
- Adrien and Chloe gets a FULL transformation. Not one who is 4 seconds, a real scene! That would be fun!
- A love duet between Marinette and Adrien; both could dance together or run on a beach; something simple and cute 🙂
- Tikki being less annoying and Plagg NOT fart. She was so insisting, pushing Mari to become a heroine and never tried to understood why the girl was affraid or saying how she can use her powers. All the kwami did was being a jerk and the cat was not realy there. More scenes with him and Adrien would be nice.
- Nathalie replacing Hawkmoth as the new villain. We didn't saw her a lot in the movie ☹Would be cool to give her a bigger role AND seeing Queen bee defeating her with the heroes.
It was good but rushed especially the love dynamic I feel like it could of been two movies.

it's not completely impossible that adrien in the movie is in fact a sentimonster, in the cliffhanger we see that emilie is in a deep sleep and carrying the peacock miraculous on her chest.
and thinking that sentimonsters aren't real is a little too harsh for me, since like of course they're real they're literally right there, thinking breathing feeling and everything. Adrien's a human like any other, he was just conceived by magic, it's not like he's made of clay or anything... he is literally human

First the animation was way better than the show. Also i love the scene where adrien held marinette's arm to help her. I also love how cat noir called her watermellon instead of m'lady, the dancing scene in the clouds was so heart touching i almost cried 🤓
The final battle was very very amazing and i adore how mari hugged catnoir and how his dad revealed himself for adrien. So yea
And ofc i didnt forget abt the ending which was so touching that adrien cried.

I loved the movie! It pretty much showed everything the show fails to show lol. I especially loved the dance scene and the reveal! But yeah, you're right. I was feeling a bit dissatisfied with the reveal because it didn't feel like Adrien loved Marinette. And I also love how grief is shown in this movie. Adrien just seems so much more sad in the movie than the show. And in the show I feel like he should've been more sad because in Felix that's when it apparently became a year since her death, so she really hasn't been gone for very long.

(not trying to convince you or anything, just a little comment on your thoughts about the reveal) I guess, the scriptwriter(s) wanted to say that, like, Marinette's true self is Ladybug. I mean, her clumsiness and self-doubt are stuff she has to overcome to become herself and she does it when she embraces Ladybug personality so to say. So, basically Adrien is in love with Marinette after all? He says something like 'The girl behind the mask saved my heart'. Soooo
Idk whether I explained my thought clearly but I didn't feel like Adrien didn't have feeling for Marinette. It's like he had feelings for her but he didn't know that till the end.

I really enjoyed the movie, should have gotten a wide theatrical release, hope it gets a blu ray release, also wish there was an extended version.
Apperently Zag promised the singer Lou to do both the French and English songs, which I feel was really unfair... She even replaced the theme song a few seasons back, so I guess she is meant to be the face of the show idk. I feel like they just needed an extra scene or two showing Adrienette understanding each other on a personal level at the very least - but I suppose they rushed them to the reveal because they weren't sure if it was going to make its money back to make another movie? I thought Chloés voice changed too, but its still her! Wonder why she changed it up.

The main thing that threw me off was the change of voice from marinette's speaking to her singing, like Christina Vee (marinette's voice actor) is literally a singer so why did they have to change it? In my opinion Christina's voice sounds more musical and theatrical while the singer for the movie's voice is much heavier and warmer, and I'm not saying her voice isn't good! It's just that the sudden change felt really strange and it didn't really fit marinette's character

The movie is wayyyy better than the show for sure. The movie had amazing visuals, had better writing, better songs, and I actually like the characters way more in this one. I don’t like Marinette, Adrien, or any of the love square ships except for Marichat in the show. But in the movie, I loved the characters and the ships. It’s crazy.
About the reveal, I hated it as well until I saw the deleted scenes of the movie.

Here’s the evidence: 1) There was a timelapse before the ball (look at the snow). 2) At the ball, Adrien was wearing the bowtie Marinette picked out for him. 3) Alya didn’t think it was strange when Marinette asked where Adrien was. …I believe that Adrien did agree to go to the ball with Marinette, and that’s why she waited until the ball to do the reveal.
