One of the rare guides on UA-cam which are excellent
Thank you for your hard work
For us new console players it is really nice to have some more in depth guides like this :)

Nice technique, works like a charm, i upgraded Fire and Sparks with the fame so the DoT is stronger.
Backup saves helps too as the beginning is tough when you don't have the Spider Mines yet (Mordrox gave me a hard time).
I didn't see the use of the shield for now, potions are enough but I only just defeated the Artificicer so I guess it'll be useful later

+CaptainSportExtreme I've found that Mordox goes down fairly easy with a good powerful cannon on pretty much any class, I hope that helps for future play-through's. As for the shield, for this particular build. Forcefield is basically your bread and butter for surviving so you're basically right, it plays a bigger roll later on when stuff can actually break your Forcefield unexpectedly. Because if anything actually manages to attack when Forcefield is down, your block percentage checks, and then your dodge checks secondly. Basically giving you two chances to avoid the damage all together. If you're currently on a run to get your "Unstoppable" achievement, good luck! Oh and thanks for the reminder about fire% + adding to the DoT to Spider Mines, I completely forgot about that and should have added it into this video, that could actually be an easier stat to add to gear rather than minion% damage. Though I'm sure it still couldn't hurt to have a lot of minion%.

+LamentForGhouls I managed to get the achievement though I must admit I would never have gotten it without the back up saves and your little guide.
About Mordrox yeah I noticed that and thanked the game it let me drop an epic shotgonne that I didn't want to sell to get him or I was good for a new game. I noticed that Cannons and Shotgonnes were far better weapons as they build up your charge faster and still knockback the opponents if not stun them (didn't take Dynamo Field, Spider Mines takes all your mana and I needed to keep some for Forcefield).
I never used the shield, as you said forcefield was just enough. Mana potions can refill your pool for hard encounters so you never lack any mana for the shield. I only used my epic shield for 1 place : the 3 rounds task in Act III, so having a good shield can never hurt.
Fire and Spark can be upgraded but having +% minion and pet dmg isn't off the table, the 2 can and has to show in the build as the DoT doesn't always proc, having more dmg on 3 mines is a must have, it's the only dmg source you can have, also having defensive stats on the same gears never hurts.
So again thanks for it, you've been a great help on this, I still have grinding achievements on this game so I'll still be on it for some time ^^

How you deal with the Act1 spawner bosses? With the suggested skills the miniopns will overwhelm you.

I used to have problems with that guy as well; use a cannon that you find, or the shopkeeper sells. For most builds, even if I'm running Mage or Berserker, I run cannon pretty much all the way until Act 2. They're high in damage and it helps you kind of get your build together until then. By Act 2, you can usually start doing what your build is meant to do, hope that helps.

@@lamentforghouls Canons haave like half the damage of melee weapons, and their mainly good for stunning. On higher diffs you absolutely can not just eliminate the minions.
I'm running Blast Cannon to be able to get anywhere, but tbh it looks everyone is just importing single characters to easy multi, grind up, THEN do whatever, but that sounds very lame.
I'd also like to know what the F should I do with Elite Artificier, because that just kills me. How much HP am I supposed to have there? Well, I'll make one more run, trying tp put stats into VIT instead of STR, but then it seems I'll just won't do enough damage...
And those bloody element-resist drinks don't help either, as Artificier is physical damage. Fokin grapling hook, and zero terrain.
My method likely would work for Veteran, but Elite seems no hope.
