Use ocean fishing to lvl up. If you get lucky you get lucky. Once you unlock double hook it's just a matter of time before you get a good run and your mount.

@@ElmerAAC yes totally! I recommend keeping up on your fishing job quests for better gear too. If you can find some accessories to increase your gp pool you will be waay better off. Good luck, let me know if you end up getting it! 😁
Before you go on the boat just ask what the 3 basic fish for the 3 zones and the 3 bait for spectral :) people are super helpful because it's not individual based it's group based. More people using correct bait the better chance of spectral overall!
Thanks for watching! Happy to clear that up. Basically you want to use patience 1 whenever its not up. From there you want to use double hook on "!!!" fish so you get the most points. If you get a "!!!" previously you want to use identical cast. Should rack up some points pretty quick. Big issue is your GP pool so you wanna save big abilities for big fish. Hopefully that helps

I started doing the ocean trip as soon as I unlocked it. For two reasons. I got so much exp from it and the mount.

I was level 8 on my first ocean fishing trip... I got 9.8k :( I was so sad less than 200 from the mount

Ahhh taht sucks! its definetly a luck thing and there are some runs that can be super unlucky. Ive had them too! Just keep going you got this

So if you are on free trial is not worth your time going for the mount because being caped at level 60 means no double hook
