When buying clothing from these sites, you have to make sure to check the sizing chart that's listed with each item. They are not consistent between each item and usually run small. I have had to go up 1 or 2 sizes to get the proper fit.
Sizing on chinese sites is almost always in asian sizing, sometimes even more specifically chinese, which runs even smaller than the universal 'asia' size chart. And then on occasion you'll have the random US or UK size. Now factor in that some brands have out right unique sizing. So yes, absolutely always check the charts AND reviews.
Also pass along if the size says 4XL, odds are that is not 4XL that Americans are used to. The sizing in China and Japan are completely different from here. You need to find a size chart to make sure you know what you're really getting

Temu ftw. Shipping speed was the deal breaker. Wish, i had to wait atleast 1 month or more to get my items. As for Temu, less then 2 weeks, sometimes in a week even. Very impressive.
Thanks for another great video! What I find “interesting” is how many of the wearables on these sites say FASHION, BEST or BETTER FASHION… like the sample pcs I have seen before production for a brand. I wouldn’t buy any shoe for support or quality. What I also have noticed is that they will show the shoe on a model and their version at that great price has glaring differences to show it for the dupe it is. That’s ok if you go into the purchase realizing this. That being said, it does not apply to every shoe shown, just beware. Also a not to the return experience I had with temu was fantastic. I received an item that when opened was not what was pictured. I went on, stated my dismay and was credited the $9.80 and they give you options and accepting “store credit” will of course always be the faster route. The whole experience took about 10 min. from start to finish. I find their website easy to navigate over other sites as well. Have fun, use your common sense when picking your items out. The other thing I have fun doing is comparing the cost and quality of same and or similar items, some of which I have already, between temu and Amazon prices.
Friendly note: For those not used to ordering clothes from these sites, pay careful attention to the sizing for that individual item. Sizes vary dramatically between products, and you need to check actual garment size dimensions (inches/cm) and check reviews to see if they run big or small. Typically, have to order larger than normally, as the sizes are for Asians (who are generally smaller than Westerners).
I’ve done Temu and Shein hauls but never Wish. Some of the kitchen stuff I use all the time and I had bought it thinking it would essentially be disposable. I laugh when I see the same stuff for way more expensive on Amazon or Etsy. Dig hard enough with weird search terms and it will be on Temu! I also love when I see this dramatic UA-cam ad for a navy secret to shredded abs and it’s the same adhesive stimulator thing sold on Temu
Ive been using temu for about a month now and they definitely are guilty of drawing you in with a low priced item knowing full well that youll want the bigger one thats almost always more expensive.
Just FYI, fan only works if the ambient temperature is lower than your body temperature. If it's higher, then you're better off without the fan as it will just air fry you with the higher temperature ambient air. The heat transfer is going into you instead of out. For higher temperature ambient air, you had to go with air conditioner.
Sorry didn't mean to not like your comment but all you need to do is Google temu. You will probably get an article how they are allgoodsfrom China and they spy on you.

I've been shopping from temu and I've yet to be let down . I haven't had to return any item I have purchased . I have given reviews on clothes to buying kitchen gadgets. Everything works great and I'm very happy with my purchases . Wish not so much . I will stick with temu . Happy shopping 🛍
That egg cracker. Just another thing for the junk drawer thst will never be used. In my kitchen anyway. Besides it's much more fun cracking an egg on the edge of something. 😅
Damn. My wife and I both live in Las Vegas and she is a big wish and temu user. I on the other hand have got a bad Amazon habit. And I would not touch either of wish or Temo because I thought they were scams. It looks like I have to reevaluate at least whether they're scams or not and consider purchasing from them. Thank you very much for this review. It was really a big help. And yes these fans for the neck are probably not going to do you any good in Las Vegas. We need a whole air conditioner unit to carry around on our neck. Lol
It really is going to depend on what types of things you are ordering. I have ordered 4 or 5 kitchen gadgets from Temu that were considerably less expensive than they were on Amazon. (They are exactly the same.) I don't think I would be ordering electronics from Temu and clothes are hit or miss, but there are a lot of good deals if you are ready to hunt for them.
Temu ABSOLUTELY has price increases for up-sizing!!! Maybe not on those specific shirts but almost everything I've ever bought from them there was an increase for larger sizes
I mean, to be honest I don't see a problem in that. It makes sense that, at prices this low, every dime matters, at which point the extra centimetres of fabric come in to play
I have been using Temu for about 4 weeks now and the stuff I have brought has been very good. I got some trainers which were very comfortable and a great little toolkit also the disposable razors are good for the price.
Note* Wish is still in debt from their startup costs and have not turned a profit and are unlikely to now while Temu has cleared their startup costs and even a 14mil half time super bowl ad. As a Designer/Programmer I've watched Wish's website lose features over time and suspect some Design vendors may have not been paid so I doubt anyone can/will fix website design issues and Functions....
The Wish shirt is probably more global medium rather than US medium. US medium is more like large in other countries. :) I would never buy shoes online and only in store where I can try them out. The only exception would be if I buy an exactly same pair that I already have.
The return policy is ridiculously fantastic. I've made a few returns and from start to finish Temu might be have one of the best policies around. 2 different purchases had to get returned. The most recent was 2 weeks ago. I purchased those skull slides/house shoes for my son and they were too large (despite verifying the size @ purchase). Immediately upon me clicking the return option I not only had the money in my Temu credit balance, we got to keep the slides. (Some companies still expect the shoes returned so this really surprised me.]🎉
About 6 months ago I bought temu shoes for about $3…. They are still in perfect shape .. they slide on no problem … wear socks … they will stop them from rubbing on the back…
Everything is forced labor these days. China has been doing it for years though. From kids to seniors. Its near impossible to not use anything made in China.
Personally I thought both sucked but thats my opinion and I got trash from them. Temu even gave me $100 worth of credit as an influencer and all the stuff was such crap I never even finished doing anything for them. Maybe some items might be ok but everything offered to me sucked and everything my ex also ordered was cheap and trash.
I ordered a shirt from Temu with the map on it. I love it and receive a lot of compliments on it. I’ve also ordered stainless steel coffee mugs. I love them. They keep coffee hot for hours
I’m glad to see this review even before I listen to the whole thing I did have to say that my first impression was wish was that they sent out prom dresses that were nothing like the photos and people were waiting for Halloween costumes that took over 30 days so I decided to never buy from wish. Maybe they’ve improved but seems like the items are really cheap and crappy and what I’ve heard from Halloween crafters and people that like Halloween vintage Temu products are better and they’re much more similar to the photos.
I bought a flexible pink neck fan from Temu for $3.49 just for fun. (They have 2 different types, so if you want the flexible one you have to read the wording.) Mine last almost 2 hours. I use them when I'm out working in the garden. I like them. They do help me stay outside a little longer.
Temu is great, if you kinda know what your getting into, dont buy stuff thats too good to be true, most of the stuff i got on temu is actually pretty decently high quality and still really cheap
I got your temu neck fan from wish before temu was a thing and it was just like you described, will not buy something like it again. As for shipping personally Temu shipped faster and was more communicative than Wish. So I'm team Temu
Several years ago, a relative mocked the taser flashlight I bought from Wish. He was soon surprised when turning it on by it's scary sparking and sound and passed on touching it to his skin.
If you compare shipping costs. This is why I went straight to Temu. Who wants to wait forever for something that you might get. Also you didn’t mention that Temu does price adjustment and gives you credit if your order is late. Wish wishes they was Temu!
Holy shit, I just made a comment asking somebody about this last night, and the only person in the world that I can trust on this topic just delivered. Hahaha
Your first mistake with wish is using the filter, forget it. You find close to what you want and use Related, that will get you a better selection. Also in oz the shipping prices on the app are dearer than laptop, who knows why. As for temu in oz, the first item you buy, next to no postage; after that you have to spend a min. $30 au or no deal. Either ones the same hit and miss. You have to check the comments, photos to get a real look. I have never been ripped by wish- money wise. And temu over here is more blatant dropshipper. In the end theres bugger all difference. Edit; after pricing them both i'll go to ebay and %50 of the time ebay will be the same or cheaper.
For "no frill" products I'm happy to go for any from Temu. However, when it comes to shoes, I can't go back from Merrell. Solid build construction and most importantly great grip even on wet surfaces.
I use both of them but I love Temu💖 and now I have lots of clothes and 60 pairs of runners.😍 I only buy stuff for family and friends because I have to much stuff. 💕💞💖⚘
I left wish for temu. Saved on shipping and time. Wish shipping and over a month wait. I price check with Amazon. If i am in a hurry i go to Amazon. Temu about 2 wks.
I just ordered some water filter replacements from Temu, it was my first order, it's been a week and they have yet to arrive, but the price was too good to pass up, I just hope they are the real deal...Great review as always btw.
Temu absolutely does the bait and switch pricing Like you pick a shirt and the pink one is 4.99 but if switch it to a different color, say you want black or blue it will be 7.99 Or I've seen electronic items with different prices depending on if you want white or black
I used to order from Wish a lot a few years on. It was mostly just small trinkets and "knick-knacks", but sometimes the electronic product like Bluetooth earbuds. Then I just stopped. No particular reason, I just stopped. I find myself searching for and ordering things from Temu more often. Honestly, I think it may be the quicker delivery times.
waiting on my first purchases from Temu, sometime this week (july 19-24th) , just ordered bunch of random hats, backpack, necklaces, Funko pop keychain(knockoff unknown), bunny hug(sweater), etc.
For everybody that uses Temu make sure you go into your orders on the things that were delivered and hit price adjustment. You can get money back as a credit on your account most of the time.
Price doesn't change with the size, BUT... I use TEMU a LOT. and IT Will occasionally change with the Color Selections. Thanks for these video's I am always curious what others think about these companies, Shein isn't much different either according to the comparisons I have seen..... and I Still think TEMU wins every time.... Not Perfect ..... But Affordable....
I don’t know why price goes up between s- l or s - xl. Maybe for xxl or more (needing more material for sewing?). I prefer a brick and mortar store because description of product is not that great. However, regarding size and material, I have seen barely any material used for bikini swim suits but they were still priced higher than the swimsuits that had more material used. Guess it was more fashionable.
Does anyone here remember the name of the shoe laces he once reviewed that made it so you don't have to tie your shoes anymore? I think they could just flex with the size of your foot and turned your gym shoes into slip-ons. I have some new shoes arriving soon and loved everything about them except they have laces, which always make my feet feel too tight and enclosed.
I bought wish and just one item was not made well . As far as Temu I heard some negative results and wish . It is a chance you take ordering from either one . I rather go to a store and look visual try it on and decided
About 3 weeks ago I went to a cheap shoe store and got three pairs of trainers for $15, they have good food support and are a 1000% better than the shoes on the video! In the UK, shoes are cheaper than in the rest of Europe. Temu UK is rather expensive and doesn't compete very well....
I changed to Temu from wish due to not having shipping fees, but recently I had to go to wish for a pair of hiking boots as Temu were out of stock with the exact same ones.Wish was more expensive though.Temu said they would let me know when they restock but it had been a week so I went to wish for this particular item.
for the t-shirts, Wish definitely uses Chinese sizings, so it's 2 sizes smaller, so if you want an XL, you have to order XXXL - this is from experience of ordering different items when Wish was the "new thing" and having to throw out several t-shirts and tops as it's cheaper than trying to return them 🤪
I am watching my third video from this channel. Is the appeal of this channel is that the host is just a very good product reviewer? I don’t think I’ve seen a review video as good as this guy is doing.
I normally wear a 2XL t-shirt. I bought 4 shirts from Wish years back, going up to 7XL, and even that one was STILL too small. Seems like maybe they've come around to fixing it. Although after I returned everything, and got "credit" refunds, they locked me out of my account and took my money. I just don't see how it's at all worth the risks.

Shipping speed was the deal breaker.
Wish, i had to wait atleast 1 month or more to get my items. As for Temu, less then 2 weeks, sometimes in a week even. Very impressive.
Wish is 8 days now from China to NY
Pro tip go thrifting instead
I do this I look at photos and reviews
This is why when I buy clothing from they, I never throw away the package until I know for certain that the size of it is good for me
I've never ordered anything from either of these companies.
Yay, another episode. Love your reviews!
This is such a cool podcast ! I've been wondering about Temu ! Thanks for making this !
Didn’t know I needed this video!!! Awesome video! I’m now switching over to Temu hahaha
The sane thing on Amazon isn't meant to break or get thrown away like wish or temu
@@zacknelson8918 Or it is bought in bulk from the same supplier and re-sold. A LOT of items just have different branding.
THIS WAS A GOOD VID.IM GLAD YOU DID THIS VID COMPARING THE BOTH OF THESE SITES.BROKE THEM DOWN&SHOWED IT.
Ive been using temu for about a month now and they definitely are guilty of drawing you in with a low priced item knowing full well that youll want the bigger one thats almost always more expensive.
Wish charges more for larger size. Temu doesn’t
@@BerkKayhan That's what I said.
@@BerkKayhanthey’re saying temu does it too. did you read the comment?
Just FYI, fan only works if the ambient temperature is lower than your body temperature. If it's higher, then you're better off without the fan as it will just air fry you with the higher temperature ambient air. The heat transfer is going into you instead of out. For higher temperature ambient air, you had to go with air conditioner.
Yeah well good luck finding an air conditioner that you can carry around your neck. 😝
Sorry didn't mean to not like your comment but all you need to do is Google temu. You will probably get an article how they are allgoodsfrom China and they spy on you.
So I am not allowed to go on there anymore
Yah a longer video! Glad you made it back from Huntington Beach in one piece with your skin still intact and not extra crispy! Great video as always James 👍
Lol
Lol, same here in Sacramento! 🔥 🥵
They're not scams, they usually deliver something, at least. But I'm also a fan of Amazon. 😊
They are both horrible Chinese sites
It really is going to depend on what types of things you are ordering. I have ordered 4 or 5 kitchen gadgets from Temu that were considerably less expensive than they were on Amazon. (They are exactly the same.) I don't think I would be ordering electronics from Temu and clothes are hit or miss, but there are a lot of good deals if you are ready to hunt for them.
They're not "scams," but they are very unethical. If you're comfortable turning a blind eye to slavery, have fun.
What are trainers?
@@enmunatesneakers
@@enmunatebasically the british way of saying sneakers
Note* Wish is still in debt from their startup costs and have not turned a profit and are unlikely to now while Temu has cleared their startup costs and even a 14mil half time super bowl ad. As a Designer/Programmer I've watched Wish's website lose features over time and suspect some Design vendors may have not been paid so I doubt anyone can/will fix website design issues and Functions....
After seeing your review, I’m going to try using Temu. I bought the shirts you did. Thanks for the enjoyable and informative videos!
I've learned there's nothing on either of these sites I would ever buy
Enjoying this because I've never actually went to either of their sites. Very informative
I like that you compare them
The Wish shirt is probably more global medium rather than US medium. US medium is more like large in other countries. :)
I would never buy shoes online and only in store where I can try them out.
(Some companies still expect the shoes returned so this really surprised me.]🎉
I don't know where I'd be without my Supr cool! portable air donditioner.
Temu does list the fiber content of the clothes, it's just hard to find. Very little cotton, almost all polyester
About 6 months ago I bought temu shoes for about $3…. They are still in perfect shape .. they slide on no problem … wear socks … they will stop them from rubbing on the back…
US lawmakers are warning that products sold on the Chinese online shopping site Temu have been made with forced labor.
What's new? So many companies use forced labour
Yep. I wish people would stop advertising that terrible site.
Agreed. There’s no other explanation for how cheap items are. No other way to explain the prices !!!
Everything is forced labor these days. China has been doing it for years though. From kids to seniors. Its near impossible to not use anything made in China.
Temu is a US site though
Wish shipping is much faster now. 8 days from China to NY!
Who’s going to get that contraption out just to crack an egg?
Maybe disabled people
Personally I thought both sucked but thats my opinion and I got trash from them.
None of the above, probably all made in horrific sweat shops 🤮
im loving the temu vs wish battles!
Your videos are asmr to me! Love to watch! 😊
I just started giggling uncontrollably when you turned around in the popeye shirt. lololo
Thank you for all your reviews. Always watching and never skipping. What camera you use in the latest videos??
If you compare shipping costs. This is why I went straight to Temu. Who wants to wait forever for something that you might get. Also you didn’t mention that Temu does price adjustment and gives you credit if your order is late. Wish wishes they was Temu!
Temu has also given me credit for things I wanted to return. But I didn’t have to return them
Holy shit, I just made a comment asking somebody about this last night, and the only person in the world that I can trust on this topic just delivered. Hahaha
15:50 it’s funny that you set the camera up to be seen in the window reflection lol
Been tempted to try temu but am not sure if I should. Thanks for the video x
Main thing to know is everything is delivery in a plastic branded bag, so your items will mainly be protected by there own packaging.
thanks great review. For price comparison, Temu don't charge for shipping, Wish on the other hand charge shipping, making them much more expensive?
Hopefully they don't have lead in them
They probably aren't full of radioactivity
@@CheaddakerT.Snodgrass Yeah, probably only a little radioactive. ☢ 😅
Should do a video comparing amazon basics products to name brand products. If you haven’t already.
Temu absolutely does the bait and switch pricing
Like you pick a shirt and the pink one is 4.99 but if switch it to a different color, say you want black or blue it will be 7.99
Or I've seen electronic items with different prices depending on if you want white or black
I wondered about these two the other day, thanks for being the guinea pig so we don't have to 👍
Always a pleasure watching your videos. Keep it up 👍
Having bought from Wish for some time, Ive found they run smaller as its an asian country. Chosing the next size up has always worked for me.
I miss when WOOT had actual cool deals. :(
They went to hell after Amazon bought them.
I hear temu has lawsuits for non delivery, and doesn't respond to customer complaints OR refunds. Won't go there for this reason.
Huh weird. Always when i got to some issue on my products they have given my money back and let me keep the product.
@@Elsuu Good for you! Not ordering from them.
waiting on my first purchases from Temu, sometime this week (july 19-24th) , just ordered bunch of random hats, backpack, necklaces, Funko pop keychain(knockoff unknown), bunny hug(sweater), etc.
But Affordable....
tbf even Amazon has different prices for different sizes/colors, though usually Amazon will give you a range.
Lock Laces? Xpand laces? 🤔
@@lapsijahti Looks like those were what I was looking for, thank you! And after watching videos on both, I think I'll be getting the Xpand! 😊
I might've missed it, but have you reviewed stuff from shein?
I bought wish and just one item was not made well . As far as Temu I heard some negative results and wish . It is a chance you take ordering from either one . I rather go to a store and look visual try it on and decided
Good comment.
Here in Montreal, you would be lucky to get three pairs of shoe LACES for $15! Much less even one pair of sneakers or any other kind of shoes.
I changed to Temu from wish due to not having shipping fees, but recently I had to go to wish for a pair of hiking boots as Temu were out of stock with the exact same ones.Wish was more expensive though.Temu said they would let me know when they restock but it had been a week so I went to wish for this particular item.
Where wish is cheaper, how much did shipping add?
for the t-shirts, Wish definitely uses Chinese sizings, so it's 2 sizes smaller, so if you want an XL, you have to order XXXL - this is from experience of ordering different items when Wish was the "new thing" and having to throw out several t-shirts and tops as it's cheaper than trying to return them 🤪
I’ve used both and prefer temu. Better shipping!
Temu will eventually have to charge for shipping, cause of how fast it is. Enjoy Temu now while you can.
