@@xRhino95x absolutely, and he's a man of his word. I was lucky enough to win a wallet, but the company was being difficult with fulfilling the giveaway. Let's just say I got the wallet, to this day in fact
I have a set of plastic taco holders, same style as the metal ones you tested, and I use them all the time, not only for tacos, but for hotdogs as well. I have a set of four and they are great to load up and put on the table when friends are over and everyone can dress their own tacos or hotdogs. The Emeril Forever pan impresses me and I am in need of a replacement 8" pan right now and at the reasonable price of $34 on Canadian Amazon, I think I will be ordering one. Thanks for the update!
For anyone considering the level 9 cut proof gloves made of stainless steel chain maille, I understand that some people don't know how to care for them, but they're quite easy once you know: when they get dirty, stinky, whatever, pop them in your dishwasher. You can drop them in one of your utensil baskets, or distribute them over your top rack, just so long as they can't get loose and fall into the spin arm of the dishwasher. But that's it, wash them like any steel pan or utensil, pull it out and let it dry thoroughly before tossing in your drawer or whathaveyou. If you have something tenacious in the mesh, it can soak in vinegar, lemon juice, or bleach water, it can be wiped down with goo gone wipes, whatever. It's steel mesh, it's resilient. Also, it's a finger saver when using a mandolin or V slicer. The level 5s are fine for most household use, but don't be afraid of steel mesh if it makes you feel safer.

We actually bought that metal taco holder set and we use them every taco night; they are a great way to be able to make all your tacos at once and keep the toppings from falling out of the taco.
I'd be weirded out if I saw a camera in the bathroom of someone at first :D Nah great video as always! Thank you for going back to the products after such a long time!
I use taco holders all the time, but I 3D printed mine to hold 4 tacos at once. For drop stops I just buy a $1.99 pool noodle from Walmart and cut to length. I love the idea of the pizza slice storage box, but pizza doesn't get stored at my house.
That little blue can strainer, we have 2 different sizes, there also a pinkish one, and I think it's a bit larger. I think we've had them easily for 2yrs now and I never want to lose them. They're great and long lasting. Our potatoes are about to get dug up and now I wish we had that crinkle cutter. I'd use it for sweet potatoes too for some yummy sweet potato fries. And the Ninja pans/pots were a great investment. However one of the little circles on the bottom of the small pot, exploded. Luckily we have a gas stove, but it could've easily made a cracked spot on those smooth glass top stoves. None of the others have had that happen, so just a freak micro accident. It hasn't happened again. I wish we could clean the bottoms to how shiny they once were tho.
I purchased the coolify after your original video and I’m glad I did. Working outdoors here in Florida can be brutal sometimes and that fan has been amazing! Worth the price. Great at the parks too
Regarding Icegone, it will work with any metal pan. I defrost my meat by setting it on an upside down toaster oven pan. Metal is not insulating and dissipates both heat and cold, which is why it works over a plastic cutting board, which doesn’t dissipate temperature.
Thrifty has a IMO a nice ice cream scooper. If the ice cream or sherbet doesn’t can’t be too soft it doesn’t work well. It’s about $30.00 but it’s worth if you want the nostalgia.

The can colander isn't really needed, you can just use the lid cut with the can opener slightly offset/tilted just enough for the liquid to drain out...
I thought everyone did that! I just cut the lid almost all the way off, leave the opener on the can and flip it and it drains. Super easy and you don't any extra steps. Then you just take the can opener off and dump the food out into whatever container/pan/etc.
I was TOTALLY waiting for this particular video. I have majority of these saved and was was waiting for the update. I will say a few of these updates pleasantly surprised me mainly the Emeril pan. I really want the hex clad but that price is crazy. The whole Emeril set is less than one hex clad pan
Just remember that no matter how they word it, non-stick is still non-stick. It's still a coating, just like the seasoning on a cast iron pan... and it's still very susceptible to being ruined by regular use. They also don't hold their heat, even they conduct it well. That's where Hexclad earns its price is that it's a blend of stainless steel and non-stick without the fear of ruining the pan.
I would use his affiliate links or be absolutely sure you buy the same pans. Emeril licenses his name like crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if there were multiple pans out there of differing quality
@hectorg5809 very true. U make a great point. I did see them on Jc Penny's site for pretty reasonable. But I'll either use his link or just wait till I can get the hex clads
I actually bought the pizza keeper on Prime Day. Using Ziploc bags and then forgetting them because they get pushed to the back of the fridge is a pain. The pizza keeper with the little separators means the slices aren’t a mess in the baggies and we can put the pizza with mushrooms (the kind I like) and the ones with jalapeños (son and hubby) in the same container. I’ve considered getting those taco holders, but we don’t really have space in our cupboards for something we might make once a month. Whoever designed the kitchen in our house when it was built wasn’t a cook. I’d forgotten about the can colander! That I’ll definitely go looking for. As for the thawing tray, I just use a small baking pan on the center griddle on my stove. That’s plenty of metal to speed thawing.
I was wondering who has leftover pizza? TBH, when I'm getting pizza for myself, I get Sicilian slices, usually 3 corner pieces with sausage. No leftovers. If I bought the Neapolitan pie, any remaining slices get wrapped up in aluminum foil. Then when it's time to reheat, I just put them in the toaster oven (or regular oven).
2:35 i do wonder if what your seeing on the pan is the metal scratching off onto the pan making the pan look scratched cuz if the pan is harder than the mixer metal it would scrape the mixer metal away tho i dont have the pan so i cant say for sure without doing the test personally
I use the taco stands with and on my flat top grill. I put on the cool side to heat the flour and homemade tortillas makes serving them so easy. Then use a serving tray to bring 18 tacos to the table, Bbut your expectations maybe different
I reach often for the level 5 glove when I grate carrots, they have held up well for many years and I grate carrots with confidence now. I dont use them to chop , I have a good technique and I proceed with caution. If you keep your knives sharpened there is less risk of cutting yourself.
That's a bummer about the sunglasses. Pretty ridiculous the company charging so much for just a case when you already paid so much for the glasses. It is a bummer when something has a proprietary cable that you can't replace easily.
Product request: some people use canned air a lot. On Amazon there are a number of electric handheld air compressors that claim to be a rechargeable equivalent.
I find the update videos to be very important. Anything might be functional, or pretty cool, the first month or so, but that doesn't mean they'd hold up over time. I am always interested to know which things you're still getting use from after having it around for awhile. Thanks!
I got to wonder how difficult it must be to pick a pan, accessory, utensils, cleaning device ect when you have so so many. Do you constantly get rid of something once you find a better option?
I only have one product from these reviews, and it's the Can Collander. It works just fine, although I don't find I have a need for it very often. I mainly used it the last time I made a green bean casserole and had a lot of cans of green beans. And it worked great!!! 😊
I made the mistake of buying that soup spout (before seeing your review) and it was horrible. But I use the can drainer all the time. Thanks for the follow-up vid James.😊
You bought the soup spout after seeing his review of how it didn't work? The design is literally horrible and you could see that coming from a mile away.
I appreciate your practical test for the cut resistant gloves. I've seen dozens of channels buy cut resistant gloves, and do nothing but strap them down, and drag a straight razor or box cutter through it as hard as they can. They never go into it thinking, " I wonder if this will work". It's always, "I'm ending this video with 5 finger tips cut from this glove. Period" Like, it's so dumb. No where on them does it say, "These gloves will protect you from your stupidity when you intentionally try to cut your fingers off" They're meant as a 1 second buffer to give you a fleeting moment to protect your finger, whereas you'd be digit-less without them. It would be like getting a nice pair of chainsaw chaps, and strapping them down to make streamers using a scalpel. That's not how they're designed to be used, but -Wranglerstar- -ghetto homestead channels- petty uploaders will only make content if they can somehow laugh in the face of a product that they themselves don't use/need.
I honestly think I would use the taco holder/dispenser long term because I love the Taco Bell Doritos taco holder. I find it super useful to hold the taco together while I eat it. It’s just a little piece of cardboard but I wish all their hard shell tacos came with it.
those can colander things work pretty well, I got one for a birthday. They never seem to totally clean though, and everyone who has a mandoline needs kevlar gloves
The nuzzle pillow was purchased after returning home, from hospital, and on Morphine, I declared I wasvin love with my pillows. I also was able to buyvone get one free. Only issue, it needs queen pillowcase instead of a full sheet set pillow case.😂 i use both inserts and will rotate pillow ovenight but im a thrashing sleeper.
The stainless steel taco holder that looks like a bunch of folds if you have it on one side of it it is two holder and if you flip it over it can hold 3, is also good if you're having other kinds of things other than tacos I have seen that in used for everything from holding French fry packets for a fish and chip shop it's more of a stand as far as that goes and I've seen it used more frequently at a falafel stand, in fact I've seen it in one of those falafel stands and they have been in use for years. So no it doesn't surprise me at all.
I've used the can colander for years to drain tuna but nothing else. I eat a lot of tuna lol, love the stuff. You can't beat this device for the purpose.
Oh I like the idea of using a material with relatively large mass and high heat conductivity to defrost meat quickly! I wonder what it's made of exactly.
@ 7:59 - $100 just for a sunglass case? No thank you. For that price, I'll stick with my Oakleys. I also have to say that I'm disappointed in the advertising on the Emeril Lagasse Forever Pans. Apparently, you get a "FREE Indoor Smokeless Grill" but with this disclaimer "* Just pay separate $29.99 Processing, Handling & Freight for Indoor Smokeless Grill". I know that "nothing is this world is truly free", but I find blatant lying like this (otherwise known as hidden fees) to be bullshit. If they had said "Indoor Smokeless Grill available for an extra $29.99", I'd have been like "okay, cool". But no, instead you have to pay for the pans, then a side deal of "$30" for something that's toted as free. Both of the things I listed above are fucked up. No sunglasses case should ever be $100 unless it's made of a gemstone or something, that's insane. Also nothing "free" should ever come with ANY price tag. This ain't the 1990s where you can say "get a free trial with a single payment of 14.99". I was interested in those pans, but I refuse to support something as scummy as that.
Where I worked before, the chain mail gloves were used by the butchers. With the use of knives all day, they were not going to trust their hands to anything less!
I can't believe people actually buy that can strainer. Every can has a strainer built in by not opening it all the way or use the lid to compress the water out.
I wonder if the charge cable from some smart watches will fit? My watch has the 2 dots that clip on by magnets to charge, We need to make a law so every thing uses the same charger, I use 7 cables and 4 I have to take with me so I just bought doubles then I got a second car so had to buy more cables. Then we have the toys with different plugs, USB C should be law
Law in EU so it'll happen here (instead of thunderbird, that's on Apple being jerks)... Your smart watch can't use usb c because it has a waterproof connection, that's why it uses that type instead of the hollow male connector. Waterproof devices (not only your watch) use the magnetic connector, either a disc or with prongs. It's also why the back of your watch (If not apple) has that weird part for charging that isn't a hole, so water can't get in.
I have the cheaper pair of cut resistant gloves and like them very much. They've held up well for over a year and wash easily. Not sure I'd like the chainmail type. Can you feel the food you're cutting?
its been a year already? i remember the polaroid tp holder and the comment i made, so now that you have been using it for a year has anyone stopped by and used that rest room? and if so how did they react?
My stepdad bought that pogo cam from Walmart i think and it wouldn't even successfully pair with my phone kept getting an error icon and displaying that it couldn't pair and the app was completely missing from the play store
That pizza stacking container still baffles me. Aside from a slice being excessively melty, I've never really had issues with pizza sticking together. It's also a lot of pieces to clean after every use. If I can't fit the box the pizza came in into my fridge, I usually just clam-shell my slices between paper plates (that I can re-use). *shrug* It does do what it promises though, I suppose.
The problem I found with the neck fans (all of them), is that it does cool you from the neck up, however where the gadget is placed on the neck, you sweat underneath it on a hot day, I actually felt cooler once I removed it. Also, I just went to Amazon and bought those gloves (the level 5), because I cut myself every single day!!! I am looking at my poor fingers full of cuts now in fact, and when you cut your damn self, everything stops until you get your finger wrapped up and bandaged, lol!! Boy do I need those gloves and I need them yesterday!
How are those gloves working out for you? And that's a good point about the neck fans, although the more expensive models with a cooling plate (Coolify2) don't have the sweating issue as much as those that just blow air.
@@Freakinreviews The one I tried was from the Sharper Image quite a few years ago, I haven't tried any of the new ones though. the gloves are pretty good, I swear I have cut my finger so many times so those gloves were well worth it!!
I use it for tuna cans mainly, I find it works really well.
@@DigitalYojimboSame! 🐟
I love mine for tuna. Since I go on kicks where I'll eat a ton of tuna, I get a lot of use out of it.
@@Dyanosis I said I bought it before I saw his review. If I knew it was crap I wouldn't have bought it.
Period"
Like, it's so dumb. No where on them does it say, "These gloves will protect you from your stupidity when you intentionally try to cut your fingers off"
They're meant as a 1 second buffer to give you a fleeting moment to protect your finger, whereas you'd be digit-less without them.
These update videos are the best. A lot of these products are neat, but are they useful over a year? Thanks for the content.
Guess that would be up to you for your personal needs.
If you're a side-sleeper, you should try the pillow cube. I love mine. They're a little pricey, but well worth it.
those can colander things work pretty well, I got one for a birthday. They never seem to totally clean though, and everyone who has a mandoline needs kevlar gloves
The nuzzle pillow was purchased after returning home, from hospital, and on Morphine, I declared I wasvin love with my pillows. I also was able to buyvone get one free. Only issue, it needs queen pillowcase instead of a full sheet set pillow case.😂 i use both inserts and will rotate pillow ovenight but im a thrashing sleeper.
what about the head shaver? that always looked handy to me but nothing a clipper can't handle.
You must test the cooling belt Sparkle Tornado. Semes awesome.
I bought the can colander, and use it all the time. Great when making tuna or chicken salad to get out all the liquid.
Love these update videos! Even though I'll most likely never buy any of them.
actual LOLs (again) at the "THIS IS NUTELLA"
Ice cream sandwiches: Lay the quart on the side...slice through the carboard. Done.
Oh I like the idea of using a material with relatively large mass and high heat conductivity to defrost meat quickly! I wonder what it's made of exactly.
The glasses camera feels more like a proof of concept. Now we know its possible so we can try for a good one.
If you own a 3d printer you can print some of these similarly yourself. I have seen a taco holder on thingyverse which I might try out.
Top-of-the-line neck fan. Quote of the week.
24:29 doo doo butter lol
I think the ampere glasses would be really cool if they had a dusk sensor on the top to automatically turn up or down based on the environment.
The Pristine Toilet Paper Spray: THIS IS NUTELLA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where I worked before, the chain mail gloves were used by the butchers. With the use of knives all day, they were not going to trust their hands to anything less!
I can't believe people actually buy that can strainer. Every can has a strainer built in by not opening it all the way or use the lid to compress the water out.
I wonder if the charge cable from some smart watches will fit?
My watch has the 2 dots that clip on by magnets to charge,
We need to make a law so every thing uses the same charger,
I use 7 cables and 4 I have to take with me so I just bought doubles then I got a second car so had to buy more cables. Then we have the toys with different plugs,
USB C should be law
Law in EU so it'll happen here (instead of thunderbird, that's on Apple being jerks)... Your smart watch can't use usb c because it has a waterproof connection, that's why it uses that type instead of the hollow male connector. Waterproof devices (not only your watch) use the magnetic connector, either a disc or with prongs. It's also why the back of your watch (If not apple) has that weird part for charging that isn't a hole, so water can't get in.
I def want to see that old toilet brush!
My stepdad bought that pogo cam from Walmart i think and it wouldn't even successfully pair with my phone kept getting an error icon and displaying that it couldn't pair and the app was completely missing from the play store
you were very aggressive where pan got scratched but what a great company to give you replacement 👍
I have that thing and I love it
What happened with the pizza container and the drop-proofing?
Use your imagination 🤷
I didn't even know they existed until I saw your review on them, I bought them the same day!
I searched for your review, if any, on key locater 'tiles' of any brand and this video popped up. Not listed in the contents. Did you have any reviews on gps locater tiles?
My mom used the taco stands. Nice for parties. Still messy.
