A car with 1200hp is sick but having a car with a 1200cubic inch motor is just unreal 😂
It’s a supposed musi 959CID there is no 1200CID motor
@@shorty808100 yes it is kye Kelly had one
@@shorty808100 omg it’s smokey
Lmao right!!
@@demarques1911 and it's not even the biggest lol
When you mounted a chassis on an engine
Exactly
I bet this thing is spraying 1200-1700hp of nitrous alone. If that's the case they're using 4-7lbs of nitrous every 1/8th mile pass LOL. I didn't know Pat Musi made a 1200ci engine. I know he has a 959ci and Sonny Leonard previously held the record at 1005ci. I thought that was as big as they could take the engine size, but I guess Pat figured out a way to get another 3.2 liters out of it for his 19.67 liter motor.
FREAKING INSANE!!! I live in Georgia I gotta get to this strip you always have videos of really awesome drag cars and trucks. Keep on posting great videos!
Jamie Hancock firebird, last year he set a nitrous record with it
Your camaro has a 632ci big block?? That’s adorable!!!!!!
It seems like yesterday a 632 was big now there's 1200 wow that crazy
632 is very big but 1200 is a monster.
Blame these turbo punks an suck pro chargers they ass if you ask me
@@allenstephens7063 Yeah but these turbo and Procharged cars have elevated the bar so high. Mainly because turbos and Prochargers have gotten big enough to make insane power on big boosted motors. These guys are making half what top fuel cars make and don't require them to be torn down and rebuilt every 4-5 minutes of run time.
@@allenstephens7063 sounds like you’re mad you can’t afford turbos and prochargers lmfao. Nitrous is junky ass shit. Backfires left and right. Takes a bigger engine to make the same power but still get outrun by forced induction. Lmfao. Salty
The viper engine looks so big in person and its “only” a little over 500ci I can’t believe this is well over double the size
Forget mountain motor, this is a damn Everest engine!
Damn those big motors sound good!
I guess it is quite off topic but does anybody know of a good site to watch newly released tv shows online?
@Bryant Finn Lately I have been using Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Santino Alessandro yup, I've been watching on FlixZone for years myself =)
@Santino Alessandro thanks, I went there and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it !!
@Santino Alessandro Thank you, I signed up and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it!
Man Jamie Hancock is my favorite nitrous dude...been a fan ever since he had the C5 when the whole car was still blue!! And another reason is he still run a collector instead of zoomies on his car, ginormous blue silver flames comin out the pipe looks dope!! Damn near all the other big ci nitrous guys run zoomies man that’s garbage lol Props to you J Malcom you doin a excellent job with this channel my dude much love from down here in the south 🤙🏼 Louisiana!!
Yee yee
Sounded crazy big when he purged it thru the motor!!
That was really good what a monster motor.
Nothing better than a mountain motor!
I wonder is that a 5 inch bore space or a 6-inch bore space
Now that's a real montn motor
That thing would be great for a daily driver !
gets pretty good feet per gallon
When did Pat make a 1200 cu in engine? I thought the biggest he made was a 959
@first class junkie yea I know Sonny has one at 1001 cu in but to my knowledge Pat hasn't built an engine over 1000 cu in
@osp80 big baller money
Biggin5434 yes if u got the $
Birt had 1001 last year
@osp80 is that the entire engine. Carb to pan or just block and heads. Expensive
Mountain motor for the win
Needs to angle exhaust tips so provide forward thrust like in top fuel so won't push down on front and unload tires.
Has the car made a full pass anywhere on youtube?
YEAH BABY!
Damn 1200ci !!!! I thought 1003ci was the biggest engine everbuilt for drag racing. Only pat musi would be the guy to build this thing. Awesome!!!
Pat musi doesn't have the biggest cubic inch motor just to let you know the biggest cubic inch motor is 1005 cubic inches
Sonny's racing
So I conclude that since 1,200 CID is a larger volume than 1,005 CID, by 195 CID, that the saying is true, four out of three people are bad at math.
So what kind of times does this guy run on a solid pass??
That's crazy!
1200 ci? what kind of block? bore and stroke?
Is it a Ford-based design, GM based design or full-custom ?
Man that was a big piece of billet aluminum they machined that block out of
Anyone have the economy report for one of these?
I have a Prius out back with a spun bearing....
ken ruffin lmfao. Thanks for the laugh 😂
ken ruffin
That motor is bigger than your car. Lol
@@xezon8042
So, I will need a receiver hitch for the gas tank?
ken ruffin alcohol tank..... guessing this beast doesn’t run on ‘gas’
I wonder what the bore spacing has to be in order to get 1200 cubes?
5.4 seems a good guess.
Imagine that engine on a modern charger, challenger, mustang, camaro, or Chrysler 300 they would be monsters
Burt Reynolds would be proud
HOLY 20 LITERS BATMAN this engine is massive
how much nitrous is used per pass when you have 1200 CI motor??? How much will it cost per run just for the nitrous??
Does it have a uprated engine?
What ???????????
One moment,
My caprice have 400.
This is 6.6 lit.
Äääähhh three time more is äääähh
19.8 lit.
Holyshit .
I would point those exhaust pipe toward the back of the car for some thrust assist
They probably have them like that for anti wheelie assist tbh
They’re facing up because it creates enough thrust to keep the wheels on the ground
@@ancientruins good guess, that is in fact correct. Top fuel dragsters make more downforce from the upswept headers alone than an entire F1 car’s combined aero
Thrust assist is actually pretty smart because the exhaust makes around 1,000 lbs of pushing force. But the downside is it doesn't have the downforce needed to keep the wheels to the ground. Downforce is unnecessary on straights, but it is so that it won't take a flight
MOUNTAIN
MOTOR !
I think it’s the crank changed to a different one is what gets you 1200 cu. inch.
I think his motor has a car on it
A 706 5in bore space motors are now yester year. The world has changed.
Firebird!
BigBlok502 thanks for the correction
@@Jmalcom2004 Great video! That thing is a beast.
Wow that's bigger than huge.
I thought this was the 1001 cubic inch motor pat musi sells. Which one version with lower compression makes 1200 hp. So did they just get the title turned around or did he really make a even bigger engine that is 1200 cubic inch? You know I think at a certain point it’s not worth going bigger because of how heavy the parts get, which causes more failures and it takes longer to spin up. At that size it must have a very heavy piston which could cause rod failure or rod bolts failure pretty easy. Because at that size slinging around at 8000 rpm or maybe more means each pistons force to move back down is as much as a whole car. But anyways it is still cool to look at and try to make work so if it’s really 1200 cubic inch hats off to the builder that’s massive.
I heard from one video he said it's a 959
Did Sonny build it
nice and ludacris promod
Building big engines is easier today than in times gone by. Before, the engine sizes were confined by the availability of engine blocks, crankshaft forgings etc etc. Today, with the technology in metals, and the adaptability of CNC parts production, engine blocks can be ordered with whatever bore diameter, bore space, deck height, crank and cam tunnel diameters and spacing etc and the crankshaft manufacturers can produce almost any configuration from a billet, instead of acquiring the correct forgings from foundries.
Yesssssir
Make sure you all sign the RPM act!
What’s that?
What’s the redline?
Imagine, a super lightweight titanium, perfectly balanced, rotating assembly, itb's, 14:1 compression, 11.000 rpm
Man an engine like this, although it's actually only a 959, the creator made a mistake, but it's still a 959ci, that a little less than 16 liters. A 959 with extremely lightweight components for less rotational mass, a high compression ratio, and 11,000 rpm will be crazy if it's possible. These engines only go for 7k at max most. I can imagine this with nitromethane going for 8,000 hp N/A
Who built this engine?
How many cc's is that? Unreal.
1200 what tha what 😵
They should make a v10 version could add another 300ci
So does it fit in a civic or not
Wow that's a nasty engine i bet he has 3,000hp of spray on it lol
6 kits
@@zumaboi21 Lawd!!!!!!
@@lamontpoole3750 ikr
No one hell that motor will take 3000 HP of spray lol and that's why they have 6 kits smaller kits and progress them in
@@dakotaautosales9673 but it makes more then 3000
Take notice how far it got down the track under power.
What is that like 19 freaking liters? 😮
😳 Christ! A 700c.i. engine isn't even considered a "Mountain Motor" anymore.
Twenty litres. That's a fkn big engine,,,
1200 in.³.... good God. On nitrous?! Jesus help us!!!!!
Pat Mussi is the King!!!👍🏻💪🏻
Popeye Camaro was a cool 😎 ride.
1200ci gotta be pushing around 3,000 horses 🤔
How much HP with blower like the topfuel dragster you wil maby see 15000hp
These engines only go for nitrous, because they make less power with same displacement comlared to turbos. You will never see a turbo/blown 1,000ci engine ever in a drag strip, NHRA limits them to 526. Only the niteous class is allowed beyong the 900 mark
959 is the biggest motor Musi builds .Sonny Lenords builds a 1001 engine
A Musi Mountain Motor, INSANE!!!!!!!! He doesn't build any motor under 800 CID. In the mod 80's he was king of the mountain motor nationals.
What he built the 632 that went in the black 1st gen Camaro called al Capone that runs x275 its driven by Mike Starvino who also co drives the swan gang rvw Camaro
WOW!!! I didn't know that thank you for enlightening me he's been an engine builder for years.
Don't know what it is about a race car gives a man a hard-.... Time getting the damn tires to hook it just does!©
Nice
TRY a STEVE MORISON 3000 HP Motor.
Lost track of how many times I watched this 🗿
crap, I thought more time passed since I last watched this
that's it ????????????
O baby
Imagine what this would do with boost
One hell of an explosion
That chassis needs tuning before someone gets hurt
The sound reproduction of this complete post is shameful and dosen't do justice to this magnificent creation
What kinda horse power is something like that capable of?
stlmikie it really depends on how much they spray it can range from 3500 to 5000+ I would say
All of it.
@rocknroller1999
Oddly enough I was just watching a drag boat video when you replied. The boat featured has 10,000 horsepower!
@@isupkqanazhtx407 alot🤣
@@brandonsikes9166 this particular car is above 3k to the wheels
I can't imagine this engine would be competitive - there comes a point where decreased efficiency due to friction and pumping losses outweighs the advantage of the extra cubic inches. Musi's own 959 for the win.
Ask your favorite girl friend that same question.
"Decreased efficiency" due to pumping losses, yes, due to a limit on how big your valves are and how many you have, but friction? That not an issue. Now, if they could put a seven-inch bore on these, and DOHC heads, the horsepower would be unocked even further.
BUT isn`t that a Pat Musi 959 ????????????
There is no replacement for displacement
I’m of the opinion that the cowl/hood scoop should read “Nitrous Inlet” ehh? Eeaahh?
that's nearly 20.000cc bro W T F
American commuter cars in a nutshell
Thought 997 cid, 1200, bigger than Sonny's, 🤑

How much gas do you want to burn?"

do they make a non racing version of the 1200ci engine 😂

That would be impressive as hell. Literally 3 times a stock big block Chevy's displacement.
Imagine running it on the street in a 900rpm redline build and getting 30mpg.
@@exploranatorbro this is not a Cat C16, these 900+ci nitrous cars shift somewhere 6,500 to 7,000 rpm
How many CI they gonna need ??? PM has never done anything else has he???

$300 a piece coated.

holy mother of god lol

What kind of engine is that?
Is it a V8 or V10?

It is always a V8!!!!
That's a 959 not a 1200 lol

It's nitrous
It's a 959
Its a Pontiac body
