for folks that want to try this keep in mind to check your local state laws. In California the strobe brake light is only allowed in a "3rd" brake light and only allowed to strobe 3 times then solid red.
Just read reviews on amazon,…totally burn out after 2 years, not compatible with canbus and the strobe throws up errors. Id imagine theyd be a pain in the arse for drivers behind you in stop start traffic

No matter what, this is my guy. I truly miss the Accord, though.
Right now I'm on my second pair of those safe stop leds. The first only lasted a short time. I recently had to take them out because they didn't pass state inspection.
So, are you going to change the inner lamp's bulb to have it match for seeing from behind? The inner lamp uses an T10 socket??? During the drl mode, the led will be brighter than then stock, so it look weird. One bright and one dim. I am currently searching for red led 7443 and t10 with matching shade of red. Not very easy to find. Got any suggestions???

Do they offer an LED for the marker lights so they are the same brightness as the brake light LED's when the brakes are not applied?? I would hate to have someone behind me think I have the brakes applied when I do not.

Maybe in a hard braking situation the flashing would be good. But it in normal braking conditions I think it's annoying and could possibly cause the vehicle behind you to road rage on you for being so annoying with your brake lights flashing every time you apply them.

I believe you changed the signal light bulb on the Highlander, not the brake light. Maybe a different year. Mine is 2017 XLE.

I replaced all bulbs on my car except the brake lights. LED is very bright and I do not want to blind people at a stoplight. My headlights are also angled correctly.

The proper term for the rear lighting is Parking Lights. DRLs are a safety feature and does not apply to Parking Lamps in the rear. DRLs come in every time the car is started. When the headlights come on which the fist setting is Parking Lights the DRLs usually turn off

Have anyone had problem with them not fitting in snug or melting? Mine didn't melt but I returned them because they fell out the socket. It fits but not snug like my other og ones.
This could be because the pins in your socket are loose over time. Simply pulling the metal tabs up so it can have a tighter fit will make it work.
@@KLEANTRIX I'm still thinking about order some again but I put my old bulbs back in and they fit perfectly snug and they won't fall out.

You do not require load resistors for that.
KLEANTRIX well I installed my strobe led brake lights and they blink without me pressing on the brake...
You always need them for turn signal less unless you buy newer ones with them already built in

You know that it will better in the third brake light which is led from the factory in case you don't know that.
Are the flashing brake lights legal?
Not in North America as far as I know. They are required in Europe though, but they are factory installed and only activate during very heavy braking at high speeds.

Can this work for turn signal?
Yes, but extra load resistors maybe required to avoid the signal hyper flash, this is not because the strobe function,it is because led bulbs draw much less current than stock lamps, that means if you want to upgrade to any LEDs for signal light, extra load resistors maybe required.

You have to replace all taillamps with LEDs because as you noticed already the brake lights are brighter in DRL Mode and people behind you will think you hit the brake just because the outer lights are brighter.

There is a center brake light so you really shouldn't be fooled in thinking that the brakes are applied because it's a little brighter.

Should be illegal, could cause accidents with the strobe. Those with a high sensitivity to strobes would have a short seizure and slam into your rear end.
Rugged and simple is how Jeeps were meant to be 😁 they just don't make 'em like they used to since they discontinued the Jeep XJ (original Cherokee)
If you're looking for a Jeep, I would personally recommend the XJ (87ish-01), but Wranglers are good too

In fact, for brake light, the strobe times is legal,we made it as the law requirement. This bulb is especially designed for brake light and 3rd brake light, for easily alert the behind drivers that it is braking for much more safety.

Just to add my two cents worth, The State of Ohio prohibits flashing lights on motor vehicles (Ohio Revised Code 4513.17) with the usual exceptions, public safety, road service/construction vehicles, funeral service vehicles etc. Be sure and check with your legal department or the local authorities before you put the time and effort into installing the lights.

In Georgia the cops would mess with you all the time for that strobe light effect. Those bulbs are probably illegal and only for off road only here.
