Here's my piano cover of "Romantic Flight" from How To Train Your Dragon! Composed by the great John Powell. I played this in my last livestream, and this weekend I spontaneously decided to make a full cover of it. Enjoy!

The first How to train your dragon movie deserves an Oscar for the soundtrack alone. John Powell is probably my favourite modern composer.
His Kung Fu Panda soundtracks are amazing as well. Can't wait to hear what he has in store for HTTYD3!

He's made soundtracks for pretty much every DreamWorks movies and all of them are amazing, but How to train your dragon is probably the best one in my opinion.
He was nominated for his music in the first film. But he lost to a movie I forgot the title of.

HTTYD3 is around the corner and then you upload this and you just made my day. Piano hasn't been a top priority for me lately and my skills are suffering from that, but I think that this might be the new project I was looking for to get me back into it. Great job!

CloudSauce I love that song, but it makes me sad because I'm afraid of what's going to happen to Hiccup and Toothless!! They've been a part of my life since I was 10 when I saw How to Train Your Dragon for the first time! I love both movies, All the shorts, Riders and Defenders of Berk, Race to the Edge, and How to Train Your Dragon 2! I have a Build-A-Bear Toothless and Stormfly on my bed! 😀❤️🤓
@@Motherofdragons4780 Yeah, honestly I have an idea of what the ending might be and it's pretty sad in a way, but I think it would make sense in the context of what the series is. I've been a fan since sometime in high school when I first saw How To Train Your Dragon. I don't really know why, but it stuck with me more than other animated feature films. (I already really love animation as a medium.) I guess the finale will be kind of bitter sweet.
CloudSauce I liked it when I was 10, but I didn't start really getting into it until my sophomore year in High School. It'll definitely be bittersweet. I just hope neither one of them dies, but I highly doubt that'll happen.

Hi! Actually no UA-cam is not my job. I'm an Environmental Sciences student at university. I thought about studying music, though! Eventually I decided against it, because I wanted to keep music as a hobby rather than an "obligation". I still wanted to create music, but without the stress of having to make a living from it. I think that's where UA-cam came in. Those are just my reasons though! I have friends who study music, and they love it. Ultimately you have to decide for yourself.
