I totally love your weirdness. You inspire me all the time to try new ideas. I go and watch your JOY video, over and over. I love how you think outside the box. Thanks for another great video.
Watching you work this piece was so interesting. After you sketched the hydrangea pedals in pencil my inner critic thought “I don’t see pedals,”. Then you started the negative painting and my art appreciator shoved the critic aside and said “YES! There they are!” It’s really beautiful, Kelly! Thank you for the inspiration!
The result is beautiful, delightful. It made me nervous to watch, especially the negative painting because I couldn’t envision how you would get the flower shapes to appear. Definitely a good technique for me to try to chip away at my fear of doing the wrong thing.
This is lovely! I think I preferred it with slightly less of the Posca (or maybe none?), but it is beautiful. Each time you added a different medium after doing the negative painting I wasn’t sure whether I would like the result, but you obviously have great instincts 😊 . Plenty of wonderful points for further exploration throughout this process, too. Thank you for the video.
I would have liked to have more paper left in the flowers but hindsight is everything sometimes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, they are very appreciated!
I could watch you all day! Abstract is beautiful! Love the result..thank you❤️
Love the process and the final piece❤ This is something I need to try!

If I could play on camera, you can definitely play in the privacy of your home - give it a try!
Beautiful.
I likethis piece so much hos the posca details make it stands Out and also make not that obvious details.
yes. I’d like to see you do more paintings with this approach
I will be continuing this pursuit, next video is a lighter version to show more of the mark making, thanks!
