I've got an 05 ext cab 1500 4.3 with just now 70,000 miles . Not a bunch of options, it's got the rubber floor, manual windows /locks Its grey interior with cloth inserts has a crutchfield sound system using a Jvc vintage head unit(2002 Single din) but a loaded Sony came with it with rear view video back up cam, bluetooth etc...but I'm not ready to tear into the wiring quite yet. It's never been out of central Florida .its white with steel rims , but I'll find something nicer when the price is right.My neighbor bought it in 07 with 21,000 on it .She put 28,000 more over the next 10 years and fall 2017 she backed into a tree stump denting the right rear door.The following day she offered to give me the truck if I would drive her around when she needed to go somewhere.She refused to drive anymore.She said it caused stiff neck and back trouble when she parked it .It definitely has some blind spots that make me feel uneasy backing out of modern gas stations . It's got some very odd electrical glitches that took a few months of detective work to resolve the trouble (grounding of the harness that made attaching the bed to the chassis a single squeeze of the drill ) wasn't keeping a bunch of stuff working right so it got re wired and siliconed.So far it's doing fine..It looks new and I work hard at keeping it from getting all packed with leaves and dirt.... And its paid for!!!!
And the early 94 Chevy Silverado extended cab short bed Z71 tbi truck I said I had is also gloss black onyx gloss black actually and the quicksilver center stripe around the truck..
I have a black dodge ram Laramie slt quad cab long bed and it is missing most of the badges also but does have rust around the edges being it was a northern Ohio truck since new came from Findlay Ohio.. bought in Lima Originally and I live over in Indiana close to the Ohio State line closest town is actually fort recovery Ohio.. and my factory antenna on the 2000 dodge ram is half rubber boot coated and a aluminum rod for the antenna mast and picks up radios stations pretty efficiently and not too much interference.
I have not decided if I want a bug deflector for my truck because I have seen several sets of them from different manufacturers get broken on the second gen dodge ram trucks.
You could have popped that trim off for the antenna area and put it through the bottom first. That's what i did on my vortec max. But great vid man, I'm up in Door County!
I really want the new design battery and M12 right angle die grinder and drills seem like they would come in handy especially for exhaust work like drilling out busted off exhaust manifold bolts
