I’ve been driving my Ranger for a few months now and agree with pretty much everything you’ve said. It’s a good looking truck with a nice (but dated looking) interior, impressive performance for a 4 cylinder, but should def be priced more affordably. I got mine (FX4, black appearance package) for $39k so I got an ok deal, but it doesn’t really feel like a $40k+ truck on the inside. I will say, unless you’re driving on a perfectly paved road, you’re gonna feel every single bump and hole in the pavement. Idk if it’s a ranger thing or a FX4 thing, but it’s a rough ride 🥴
It's still a Truck.... If there is weight in the bed, it will ride a little better.. I have a 2022 Lariat with the Tow Pkg... . Perhaps you should have bought an SUV ????
I'm recently retired, had a company car. I plan to buy the new 2023 Ranger as soon as there available. Have worked in dealerships Ford/Gm/Chrysler as mechanic and Body Shop Tech. Have 44 years into this game.
Hey issac! Another Great review. Personally, the ranger was my first love. This was the truck that got me loving trucks. It is dated, but the new generation is being unveiled very soon. Hopefully by early October. But I’m torn on this and the new frontier. I love the new frontier. A little less modern, cause I grew up on old early 2000’s and late 90’s cars. But I still love the screen and styling, but still has a more old school vibe in the interior and the steering. But I love both. God bless you man. 👍🏽🙏🏽
I have a 2019 XLT Ranger I love it but wish it had more options! I was going to move on to a loaded Tacoma TRD premium but I just can't! The Tacoma engine, seating and ride are just too weak for me Will be purchasing a Lariat trim!👍👍
I have a 2022 FORD RANGER FX4 crew cab. I notice that SOME RANGER'S HAVE the HYDRAULIC HOOD STRUTS, MINE has a PROP ROD. If anyone know why, i'd appreciate a heads up...thanks. I also have the LEATHER INTERIOR but, MY FRONT SEATS DOESN'T have RANGER SPELLED ACROSS THE TOP.
Enjoyed this review! I drive a Tucson but am considering a truck 🛻 for my next vehicle. Considering the larger F150 or Ram but we’ll see. Would like to make a prayer request as well 🙏✨ Thank you!
Koch is the way to go! If it were up to me try and snag an F-150 STX or wait for the 2023 Ranger if you're looking for a sub $45k truck that is reliable!
As a 2021 Ranger owner, I have a question. Like the truck in this video, I have a black Ranger, though mine is an XLT Sport, not a Lariat. Looking at the front end, does anyone know what that sole gray part on the lower bumper is called? I am looking for one that is black, which would make my truck all black, if I could find that part. If you have an OEM part #, that would be great, too.
Best I could find: www.ebay.com/itm/195324375860?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D241864%26meid%3Dd0a945b781e14dce900516bbcea9d9fa%26pid%3D101196%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D144618562679%26itm%3D195324375860%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv9PairwiseWithPLXWebFitmentFilterConfirmFitSignal%26brand%3DFord&_trksid=p2047675.c101196.m2219&amdata=cksum%3A195324375860d0a945b781e14dce900516bbcea9d9fa%7Cenc%3AAQAHAAABEAzdIKOcP6rVYsexH8mCu6YYN0SdXxqICy66h220Th%252FC6c6aZpFIEmATXPImB6gOXUa%252FXvip3BRuztnBr5L4o8yHrBK5auUnjfi6Sfy%252BKVAKbfOQOYC%252FyHiNYKYbCsAmQYGf96ubVh9%252FSsODG3MLVx1zLTUv1ZeXJurxt1eJ3E%252FboZ58Vo0raRUcvFeLNEaT0AHFGd1eztCssakWK1UAWvEIIAw6IEw5c4%252B6mJ3cuzayPeeCuE1Vm%252FOf2%252Be2lYu4suEepkRZmyyplpIz2Zk1g0KiJuQ16iYKujvGXmgU4YEVczz%252BI21Hl8yPdIR23%252FB5RrVhfBiX4mSRMjlIdmrMl%252FFL54EZYYvNNqo74dwfQu1o%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2047675
As far as stance I didn't even consider these because they are too dam tall! A full 4 inch taller bed sides than the old model. But Belltech came out with a lowering kit. It looks like a normal truck with that. Can't decided between this and the GMC Canyon. Although the lariat is a lot less expensive than the Denali so if I go top of the line this is a better deal.
Being in a truck 6hrs everyday that interior is going to be a let down b/c hard plastics & them buttons & dials don't feel good + yea manual slide window ugh its 2021-22 just stop it! Why have a defroster for that tiny window.... u could just open the window lol Anyway would have been better to add a pwr window.. The exterior (specially the Tremor trim) is on point though. Love it but the taco TRD Pro is Still better buy.
I really hope the auto stop/start at every stoplight is a fad and goes away. It’s horribly distracting and will prematurely wear out so many parts including the engine.

It's a fantastic truck and worth every cent. If you want a fancy interior get a Lexus.

FANTASTIC REVIEW AS ALWAYS! I LOVE watching your videos!
The 2 12vlt sockets are nice cause I have 1 using my dash cam and I still have a free one for whatever.

Awesome video! I live in Easton and was looking at a few Rangers and F150s at Koch 33. Looking to trade in my 2020 Frontier.

Give me the base model with base model price and I’m happy
Not worth 44k
NICE REVIEW...EPHESIANS6:10 -BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER.
"It just feels old"...... Compared to.......What??????
Every other midsize truck on the market, the current other F-150 truck offerings from Ford.
You can pray for me because im having trouble giving myself to god
Yes, the born again. Virgin
