my work holding hand always hurts more than my hook holding hand too! i think its bc a hook is pretty light/ a constant weight but your work grows and gets heavier as you crochet
First :) I sell plushies and other random things i cant stick to a specific item lol. mostly things like scrunchies, bags, dish scrubbies and beanies so far 😃

i love the fact your wearing the vest you made, i wish i had the confidence to wear the stuff i make, the times before when i wore the stuff i made to school, i got made fun of for a having a “grandma hobby.” and now im too scared to wear the stuff i make in public

Ignore the hate, they just jealous they can't make something to cool to wear that is just yours. The joy you get when you find that one person that asked you where you got "insert item here" and you say "I made it myself" and they reply that it looks awesome will mean so much more than those hateful comments from scared people. I just started crochet myself, last fall, and I made myself a spiderweb vest and felt so silly wearing it the first time, until a cashier I had asked me if I had made it and when I nodded yes, she told me she loved it. I have gotten complements on an evil eye pendant I made and a BTS purse I made . The right people will love it and embrace the "grandma hobby". Also I have seen some pretty cool stuff that my grandmother would never have made lol. I am currently working on a headless Wednesday doll because I wanted one lol. Just remember you will have the skills to clothe yourself in the event of an apocolyse.
