Drift into a world of art and music through the interactive installation Mix-Tape at Oklahoma City's Factory Obscura! Today we are exploring the sights, sounds and textures of this unique location. Factory Obscura's venue "the Womb" welcomed guests to immerse themselves in the realm of touchable interactive art. We went on the journey and found that this experience is one of a kind and like nothing you will find elsewhere!! Come explore with me!!

What a fun place to visit than you for sharing it so I can go
no problem!! I think everyone would enjoy visiting, it is one of those places you can explore differently for each individual and so everyone can find something they enjoy

I was really excited to go since I didn't get to go to OmegaMart in Vegas when I was there because I wasn't there but for a short time. I was not disappointed!!! I hope to eventually go to Siesmique

I have always appreciated the arts and finding more and more of these kind of exhibits emerging is wonderful. I have been to one in Ohio that I think you would enjoy also. This one has a very different story and focus, which I think makes it really stand our uniquely. Thank you for taking us on the journey today.
I have seen the one in Ohio on another youtube's channel but haven't been up that way.. maybe in the future I will have the opportunity!

It is soooo much fun!!!! Absolutely worth a trip and the entire area around it is filled with great small restaurants that are awesome.
The glasses really do make a huge difference it appears. You mentioned they are only $1 id say that is worth the investment. Good protip.
Thanks!! They offered them when we came in and both dad and I thought that it was worth a shot. After trying them at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe and seeing how some of the art came to life, thought it could be a great touch, and GLAD WE DID!!
Going to check that out when we're there next July. Looks so cool.
It is a really neat place to go. Although not as large as expensive as the meow wolf locations definitely a good taste into interaction. Go there and just take your time enjoying all the textures and bright colors.
In addition, the theming they have selected has numerous nods to my own past. In the room and exploring the walls I found more than few things which were familiar. They captured that moment in time well. I would most definitely be interested in visiting to find out more.

We stepped inside several of the buildings... but didn't film inside because we try to make sure we can first and if i cannot speak to someone i try not to be in the midst of others who are just visiting.... privacy matters...
Never knew Oklahoma City had stuff like this. I wouldn’t have thought it would be something I would like to visit, I’m not into art, but this is different. I never been to a place like this.
YES!! It is such a fun place to visit and very fun to explore!! Definitely recommend if you have never been to a place like it!! Go in with an open mind and just explore like a kid!!

lol.... that is funny...lol... Factory Obscura is soooo unique and fun, but there are other immersive art installations I also would suggest looking into, some of which I have been to and have videos for. Check out Meow Wolf and Seismique also, your mind will be blown!!!
Did you know the Denver Meow Wolf opens late this year?
Yes I have been seeing their IG sharing pics of things coming soon to Denver and I have to say I am excited!!

I have been to Meow Wolf in Santa Fe and Las Vegas. Absolutely enjoyed both of them. There are also a few locations you might enjoy in California and near Seattle which have some exceptional immersive art
do you have names for those? I am always up to add something fun to my bucket list for my next adventures in that area.
@@BunnyPlaysHere yes near Seattle, is Tacoma. Tacoma Arts Live has immersive stuff but it isn’t permanent. Currently they have Infinite going on.
Seems like something Portland would have.

Is there a significance with the flamingos? I think they are super cute but I noticed they were in more than one section is there a reason? Is it part of the story?
I am not sure I noticed the same thing... I would want to go back in again and experience it a second time to see if there were any common threads.... perhaps there are... you might be onto something

How long would you recommend for visiting?
This is a place you will want to explore at your own pace.. I would dedicate at least a couple of hours but you could easily spend more time looking at all the details
Not impressed I'm looking forward to me a wolf Denver Colorado it's going to blow everything away
This is a very different concept overall to Meow Wolf, smaller venue. I am also looking forward to the opening of Denver's Meow Wolf, but I am happy to see more places like this popping up to allow those who are not able to attend the larger venues to have a piece of the interactive art concept. I also want to go to Otherworld in Ohio and Seismique in Houston.... you might look at those as well :)
