@WarMachine0003 EMB or Embarcadero was huge back in the early 90's. I remember seeing it in skate videos that came out in the 80's, but the spot exploded in the early 90's when videos like "The Questionable Video" from Plan B came out in '92. Guys like Mike Carrol made it extremely popular after that video came out. I remember wanting to go there so bad when I was skating back then. Hubba Hideout was another hot spot. Does anyone know if it was part of EMB?
Don1970 No not part of EMB but real close. When plain clothes cops started showing up at EMB we'd skate there all day and leave to go up to the hide out to smoke joints or drink 40's.

Who the hell gave this a negative rating?? Some people just don't have a clue what they're looking at. Too young I guess. I should note... I said Mike Carrol and the first Plan B video made it really popular, which I think is true cause that vid had an effect on me and many others, but also Mark Gonzales made it official when he ollied that same spot Jamie Thomas is hitting. Gonz ollied it back in '86 giving it the name "Gonz Gap". He was also the first to kickflip it. Lots of history.
I wouldn't even ollie down a 2 stair barefoot. Jamie was gnarly!
I skated there in the 1990's. I live in Canada. Flew there 3 trips to skate there. I'm age 43 now 2021. The memories....
