Samsung Galaxy Tip - How to Change the Quick Settings Panel Grid - 3x3 - 4x3 - 5x3 - 6x3

The size of the icons in the Quick Settings Panel isn't something that we can normally custom. Yes, we can move these toggles around so that the most important ones are up at the top.
But changing the grid size isn't a feature that most Android devices offer. And it's not even a feature that is available by default on Samsung Galaxy devices either.
However, we can customize the grid size with the help of a Good Lock module called QuickStar.
If you're not familiar with what Good Lock is, or how the modules work, then be sure to check the video description below for a link to an overview guide I did on the app.
And once you have installed Good Lock from the Samsung Galaxy store, we can begin to customize the grid size of the Quick Settings panel.
Now let's get back to customizing the grid size of the Quick Settings panel on Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
Remember, we need to install the Good Lock application from the Galaxy Store and then we can open it.
Now, we need to look for the QuickStar module and install it by tapping on the down arrow.
Then we can open the Quick Star module and then scroll down to the bottom here.
There's a toggle for a feature called Change Quick Setting Button Grid that will be disabled by default.
Let's go ahead and enable this toggle so that we're given access to a slider for the feature.
While we cannot specify that we want our Quick Settings grid to be 3x3 or 5x3, we can do that by adjusting the slider.
So if we want the Quick Settings grid to be a 3x3 grid, we simply want to move this slider to the left side here.
And you can see the grid change depending on where you move that slider.
We're able to change this to a 6x3 grid by moving it all the way to the right.
Each time we move it, we're changing the spacing between the Quick Setting Tiles.
The spot you want to move this slider to achieve the grid size of your choice will depend on other display factors. Including the size of your screen, the DPI you've set the phone to, and how big or little you have your display font and UI settings set to.
Go and check out this slider within the QuickStar module to customize how the Quick Settings panel looks on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet.
