I just binge watched a lot of your videos and you seem so relatable! Please make more content because we need people with your authenticity on UA-cam. I'm currently trying for my one and only and your content made me feel better about what to expect.

I discovered your channel when i was struggling very very badly with my mental health while in the military. While I was in the service, I coped with my depression by rereading the twilight books and the world of twilight as an escape. I found your channel by one of your videos that was along the lines of “soo you want to move to the PNW”. From there I was hooked. I loved your content, especially how you weren’t trying to be like everyone else and following the trends of overconsumption. I’ve always had a niche for sustainability and found a lot of people on the internet who are living sustainably are rich af and their ways of living are not realistic to most americans. your channel showed me ways to live the most earth respecting life i wanted on a very realistic level. There’s this great individuality within you that I really admire. When I transitioned out of the service, I found myself relying on your channel a lot for peace within my own mind. I would rewatch your videos all the time because i felt like i had a friend. From two years ago to now, and seeing you transition from bride, to wife, to mother, and now a woman starting her 30s who is actively and openly sharing her journey on bettering herself is really inspiring. Thnx for being a big support system for me and please keep doing what makes you happy, even if it means you change your mind on wearing makeup!!

I think your authenticity is really refreshing. Your takes on motherhood, mental health, and politics really resonate with me and I imagine many others, especially women. Pregnancy is legitimately hard for many and I was in the lowest point in my life when I was pregnant and there was an insane amount of shame there that I felt I could not share with anyone without being judged or perceived as an evil mother/person. I'm also someone who was very left leaning in college but have distanced myself from the left due to disliking the way they act and treat people. The mob mentality is legitimately terrifying and I just find super left people hard to be around because they just generally are very mean or high and mighty.

Your videos definitely give me older sister energy since I am only a couple of years younger than you and I find them so comforting to watch when I am feeling completely overwhelmed by my life. I find your insights on life to be very descriptive and understandable to someone like myself who is in a phase of like “behind” you if that makes sense.
I have occasionally listened to Joe Rogan and from his podcast I started listening to Lex Friedman and Andrew Huberman. I would recommend Andrew Huberman if you don’t already listen. His podcast is about understanding different aspects of the human body and he has a lot of researchers with specialties on. It is a nice way to learn about how your mind and body function from a more “trustworthy source”. I personally really enjoy the interviews about female health.
My only complaint (which isn’t so much a complaint) is that I haven’t found many women podcasts which fall into this same category as Andrew Huberman or the others- so I think for me to fill this gap in the types of media I consume is through your videos among those of other women. This helps me to have that missing piece. I love listening to voices from completely different perspectives than mine but I also crave that feeling of discovering life with women around a kitchen table. Of hearing the diverse perspectives and problems women face in our society and feeling apart of that conversation in someway even if right now that is just listening. At least for me this is the value your videos provide. They are a safe place where I don’t feel like I am just being sold lies or being sold false dreams. Of course these videos are only slivers of life and through the lens of a camera not eyes but I do feel safe while watching these videos. But as always do what is best for you as a person and if that means taking a step back that is what is most important. But also be proud of the work you’ve done in making these videos because I do think they are valuable.

I recently found your channel because of your one and done video and I related. My husband and I are one and done and our baby girl is 3 months old. Newborn stage is SO difficult and there’s so much nobody tells you about it. The mom rage was insane for me when I was brand new at being a mom and I felt so guilty about it. We also tried breastfeeding and only ended up exclusively breastfeeding for 2 weeks before having to pump and then bottle feed and ultimately switched to formula by 1 1/2 months. No one tells new mothers how hard it’s going to be or how we can help ourselves. Your videos have been a light for me and I so appreciate you being so genuine and honest when you post!

I looooove your channel and hearing all your thoughts!! I would never wanna put you into any little box where you have to exist an XYZ type of person. So just share whatever and I'll be here! :) I agree that people are being super divided these days into left and right factions. Like...how about we let people exist and be multifaceted?? I think we're getting dumber oversimplifying things into good/bad or whatever and fighting over internet purity points, sigh
also LOL at Molly scratching the couch and the zoom in 🤣 my chubby tabby cat scratches bad things too, but I just love her anyway cuz she's so cute hahaha

I think people complimenting you saying you’re “real” is more of a positive thing. Not because you are a woman or anything like that. There are ALOT of UA-camrs portraying a perfect like with no issues and just all this glamor. Nothing wrong with that. But every once in awhile you watch someone who is “real” ie. Genuinely and relatable. Someone you feel like you could be friends with them in real life. I think that could perhaps be where the “real” comments come from.

Maybe you could restrict what comments you see, or do away with comments completely on your videos? It would stink so much not to be able to communicate with you via the comments, but perhaps that way you'd be free to post whatever you want to, without the pressure of seeing what Susie-you-hoo said or what Tommy-dingleberry thinks of you. Setting boundaries is important , and reflecting and coming up with your boundaries concerning your online presence might help you find that balance you're looking for. Side note-whyyy do you think you can't do makeup? It may be simple, but it looks good on you! Also love the nails💜

No I love comments though because of people like you! I don't know, I think being online is just hard haha but its worth it!

Some of the things that Matt has said were super off-putting but the clips are also carefully selected to paint them in a negative light. I think internet "stars" are highly criticized and expected to be perfect when in reality we are all just trying to figure it out. I also feel like what is she meant to do? Divorce him for being imperfect? Hopefully he will grow & learn. They are super young like you said.

Yes! and people judge her for saying that divorce is not on the table. They LOVE each other. They have been together since they were like 13. Thats so hard, could never be me. But I think that is amazing and such a huge feat and something to be proud of and not give up on.

@@alexirossiI think that divorce is sometimes viewed as an easier way as well than enduring those hard seasons. Divorce has so many consequences too. Choose your hard as they say. All marriages have hard times.
