It wasn't until I became an adult that I understand the reasoning behind it without my mother explaining it to me. By the way most of my friends that were allowed to wear makeup and date at very young age ended up becoming teenage mom's. Enough said. Thank you mother.
Mo To No that's were your wrong. Dating at 16 is a conservative age, I was already a junior in highschool with good grades. And no I never made her a grandmother until my late 30s. So you're wrong.

You can't raise your child in a bubble and expect them to come out perfect. That'll will blow up any any parent's face.
There's usually a reason why parents make rules. In this case it's because a 13 year old girl needs makeup about as much as a 5 month old needs an iPhone. Best show ever made
Vanessa your record went down hill from here honey.
out of all the girls, vanessa always had the best hairstyles
jillhbaudhaan i wanna say denise had the best hairstyles, curls, short cuts, dreads, and straight 😍
Denise did
Yes Denise
d Mal_222 agreed
Ew no she did not
AND THATS ALL I HAVE TO SAY LOL 😂😂 AT 4:21
This show teached people values and was really funny. Unlike nowadays shows teaching children to disrespect parents and parents to be weak in front of their children. The word is definitely falling apart
Oh and this is only the beginning, Cliff and Clair....this one here was your WORST one.
No the worst ones were when she lied to be with Jeremy and then she got drunk with her "friends" and then the big kahuna, she lied to go to Baltimore for big fun and when her friend's brother's car got stolen they didn't report it to the police (it's almost as if they were saying "his car his problem boo hoo") and boy she got it!!!
I'm referring to Vanessa in general. Vanessa was the worst of the lot.
+thehoosierfortheUK You forgot "doing the locomotion" with a revealing outfit and stuffed cleavage.
Vanessa didn't always make the best decisions lol. First the whole Jeremy debacle, and then the sneaking off to Baltimore. And almost getting married her first year away from home smh.
Oh yeah she was the number one trouble maker. Def. And this was just the start of it. And weird how Theo was the normal one. Huh?? Lol
Clealy this is not about just makeup. It's about rules and principles! Vanessa deliberately disobeyed! She is a child. It's not called control, it's called parenting. Apparently it is a long lost art that most children these days do not seem to be getting!
Most definitely not getting...SMH.
This was a very lovely sitcom so positive.
Mr Huxtable: "WHO?"
Mrs. Huxtable: "Vanessa!"
Me: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
