Look have fun with your exercise then you are good to go . I mean pain is pretty fun. Don't be like ahhh I have to exercise again . Be like yeah man! Let's have fun again. Enjoy the process not the reward . I mean focus on the process not the reward. Your brain is enough to think about the reward . Don't let your brain get the most of you have fun!

    • @wellthisisinteresting4912

Don’t beat yourself up about it! Try to work with your brains mechanisms instead of fighting against it. Start by doing 5 minutes of exercise everyday with consistency. And every time you show up, acknowledge that you did and thank yourself for it.

I don't have something with levels myself, so what I sometimes do is throw a rope over a beam at my house, tie one end to my ankle and pull the other end, so my leg goes up. I'll wait for a bit and then pull some more. Hard to keep balance while pulling, though. Have had a couple of accidents in the past.

You can try doing a sort of tripod hand-stand, with your support leg and your hands on the ground, then lift your kicking leg up backwards to the ledge/shelf. It helps to have a rope tied to the shelf to then pull yourself up to a standing position with your leg on the shelf. I started that way. Now I can lift my leg up to about chest height. I am 58.

Keeping your back straight while throwing kicks would be a bad idea for a bunch of reasons. And you will hardly injure your spine by bending it the few times you throw kicks.

@@NeroMMA when you are trying to hit high kick you should not bend your knee, you have to be steady and straight and second and your support leg should turn almost 180 degrees and your shoulder should turn toward back without bending your knee or back, you should be in on straight line.

No, its not an arts demonstration. Its fighting. Its about delivering the kick and doing damage effectively.
