+M VINCE Turner That point when the pipes struck up for the first time will live with me for a very long time - the sound was deafening - but in a great way!
Haven't watched this in such a long time. You captured a perfect blend of the pipers and the great aircraft. Hope to someday see such a show live. Scotland the Brave and the liftoffs, the magnificent aircraft.
Thank You for your appreciation. That moment when the pipes first started playing will live in my memory forever - so so loud, yet so pure and beautiful.
+airshowvision Yes, Thank you. I have never seen them, but I do live in the US. I have seen the likes of the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Geico Skytypers, The Canadian Snowbirds, and the Frecce Tricolori. All are very good demo teams.
I've said it on another video, I'll say it here.......... I'm English, but mainly British....... God bless the Sottish, Welsh, Northern Irish and English..... together, there is no force on Earth that can stand before us
@@airshowvision I see. The thing is, I've already tried scrolling down the comments, however the answers (the two of them) seem to have disappeared. Thanks, anyway.
iActivateMC The pipers are the Royal Air Force Pipes & Drums. I believe there are 2 or 3 of these bands, maybe more. The blue tartan is the official tartan of the Royal Air Force.
Sadly the world is full of ungrateful people, but I don't take any notice (I only look at the thumbs up - there are 30 to 40 times more of them, so who is wrong and in the minority?)
+Cyril Labega The tune is 'The Black Bear' and was usually used to round the troops up in town and march them back to Barracks each evening. They also use this tune to march the Pipe bands off the Esplanade at the end of each evenings Edinburgh Tattoo .
One thing that the World has to understand is that you will never defeat the British. Having said that, we, as a kingdom have to remain together; without the Scots at our side, the English are nothing.
Wooow what a show, what a sound.....! Normally I dislike airshows with background music but this is superb......
This is a phenomenal scene. The blend of the pipers with the air show above gives me chills and goose bumps.
