@ gotcha I ended up just capping mine off at the hard line closest to the engine. Appreciate your video tho never would have found those hidden triple squares without it 👍🏻
For that one EGR bolt, it is infinitely easier to take off if you remove the intake manifold to turbo black tubing, unscrew the two coolant bolts from the side, then you can reach around and undo it. Don't bother trying that from underneath.
Great commentary..bro I feel your pain I’m doing a DPF and EGR filter on my ‘13 sportwagen CJAA because I’ve been getting P02002 and P0401 codes .. meaning low flow in the EGR at the cooler and DPF below threshold.. my differential sensor isn’t seeing any significant pressure 15mbarr at 2500 rpm and my rear bumper and tailpipe are full of soot which means cracked DPF.. nevertheless I need to maintain the emissions from the diesel gate mods, I can’t delete it as everyone on UA-cam posts .. I have yet to see any videos or any instructions on how to get a new DPF up and aligned on the turbo to connect with the band clamp and the seal.. with no help.. I guess I need to get another pair of hands.. but that was too difficult removing, it’s remove top O2 sensor disconnect from turbo remove top bracket bolt and remove bottom bracket and remove right axel and it all comes out through the firewall tunnel .. but need to disconnect the exhaust all the way to back slip clamp.. getting the new DPF wasn’t too difficult but now the getting the DPF/Turbo connected in a real tough situation to get them aligned .. and tips are appreciated
I had to get a neighbor to help me with the re-assembly process. It’s a pretty rough process. Leave the band clamps loose between the EGR and DPF and make sure the clamps are aligned so you can tighten them easily from the bottom. I’d also put a ratchet strap on the motor to pull it forward as far as you can to open up the space between the firewall and the rear of the motor.
@Thelakedr No but it ended up being knocked out of alignment a little bit. It’ll set a code when you turn the car on afterwards. Rotate the steering wheel all the way in each direction and the code will clear. Best to keep the steering assembly supported with bunjee cords when working on this.
@@Rangetechus you could make a plate or with a tune you can turn it off but you have to unplug it it should keep it closed and you disconnect it and then it'll never open again as far as I understand.
Many specific items are missing from their manual which was what I was referring to and that’s why I posted this video. Thanks for the comment nonetheless.
You’re the best man thank you for this video. Helped me a ton!
That’s awesome!! Glad I could help!
What’d you end up doing with those 2 lines @ 10:32? Anyone make an block off kit at the motor so they’re just not hanging there?
Modified the factory lines and beware that the factory lines are lined with a plastic to prevent them collapsing as coolant cools off.

I don't recall hearing where you pulled that DPF out did you come up through the top or did you pull it down through the bottom
Down through the bottom.
@Rangetechus thanks for the video I appreciate it I'm in the process of doing one right now what a pain in the ass
You’re welcome. I really hope this helps you get through it easier than I had it. Lol
@@Rangetechus One more question did you have to disconnect the power steering shaft when you lowered the subframe

Any information on the kit you are using?
Stevenson pipe only kit and Tunezilla level 1 tune.
How do you close egr because I wanna use old dpf as down pipe
@@BD-nk3cy Sorry, not sure on that one but hopefully someone on the forums can help you.

Where do you get the rawtek instructions? I've looked for them but can't find them. Please let me know. Thank you
