Great job both of you. I did not expect the colour variations between the catfish. I did not expect the rock bass, but it makes sense where the there are municipalities have put down rock near the shores for erosion protection.
I know your no longer in Las Vegas but I gotta ask have you seen the videos of Otters swimming in Lake Mead Lately no joke I'm wondering if you got a answer on how they got there
You know Vernon, you and your wife still look like you’re cold. A lot different than Nevada huh. That rock bass is really a good looking fish. Glad you did good. Your wife did better but that’s OK. Take care.😊
Thanks Ralph. Up here you get good days and bad days, and often they are they same day before lunch. But we make the best of it, hope you are enjoying the heat down there.
Thanks and Hi. I do put a google maps link in the description of all my videos, but you can just google Crouchaine Bridge. It's just south of St Norbert.
Goldeye/Mooneye difference. Goldeye has a gold eye. Mooneye has a mostly silvery eye. Mooneye’s dorsal fin is in front of anal fin. Goldeye’s dorsal and anal fin line up.
Good job on the PBs and new species for you both! You have to keep the wife happy as well! 😉💙🎣🏞😅
Happy wife, Happy life.
Congrats to you both Vernon! It’s always awesome for firsts and hitting a new threshold of accomplishments. Keep it up!
Thanks BlueHandFishing 👍

Thanks, and to be fair Richard, I was not expecting a Rock bass.

Great video. Rock bass looks like good eating?
Thanks Tim, as a sunfish, Rock bass should be good. But I think you'll need more than one for a meal.
Nice trip 👌.. where is this specifically...would love to ride out here to fish. Just suscibed to your page as well.

Thanks For the info, but be sure to check the dorsal fin position, the eye thing is not always true.
