As someone who never understood people eating whole meals with hot, savoury food like sausages etc. for breakfast, I rate French breakfast culture as one of the best.
Facts
Sweet breakfast ... I will never understand. Sorry. It is like having dessert the first thing in the morning. The German one is more like mine. Or even the Japanese miso, fish and rice. Or just a black unsweetened coffee.
It's nice, but you're not really getting much nutrition out of it. It's just all carbs and sugar.
@@PomuLeafEveryday It's not really the meal you eat to get your daily nutrition though. It's a quick pick-me-up in the morning to keep you running until you get some real food. Some carbs and sugar will do just that, if you don't overdo it.
@@Vanda-il9ul I'm German so I also like my bread more savoury, but I'll still take sweet over "lunch for breakfast" that you get in many places. (Partially because eating a large meal makes me super tired and I don't want to feel like napping first thing in the morning.)
That crispy bread sound makes me so relaxed! I won’t eat break unless it sounds like that and has that beautiful bread odor
