- I'm French and I'm taking you on a French Food Tour of Paris, France!
With my friend Camille (@camonthego), we're showing you different spots where locals actually eat in Paris:
- Bakery (boulangerie): croissants and chocolatine (or pain au chocolat) at Léonie Batignolles
- Marché des Batignolles: an authentic French food market
- Galette (salty crepe): galette saucisse et galette complète at Sarracuisine, Batignolles
- Sandwich: a delicious sanwich with a fresh baguette, coppa and sheep cheese from Corsica at Maison Castro
- Pastry shop (patisserie): delicious cakes and macaroons at Le Jardin Sucré

Love how these shops are not owned by some big corporations, but are independent and have a touch of their own!🙌🏻
Yes I love that too :D
yeah in the US anyone who wants to start a small business has to decide if they can afford health insurance
You can own your own shop- big corporations started out the same way
@@LucileHRThey look delicious..in the Morning
,it has to be some OJ,
fruit,a ,a Croissant ( I love Strawberry or Raspberry Jam in mine) and Mucho Coffee& I'm ' 'Pret a' Partir' .Viva la Boulangerie Franchise! 👍
Spain is the same. Small business are treasured here and nobody likes the big chain stores, they work hard to protect family businesses. It’s what makes Europe special.
You are everything good L. Thank you for yet again an amazing tour you always bring us along with you!...
Loved the video! Going to Paris and drinking coffee outdoors and eating beautiful pastries is something I dream of doing. Lots of ❤
Thanks for watching :D
Yum! I need to eat all of this asap haha
Bro I got worried that you guys were separated
lol you're the guy who faked his videos, sad
Thank you for showing us! These pastries all look so good. Noting them so I can remember them for when I go to Paris one day.😊
Wow I'm planning my very first trip to Paris from NY and these videos are making me feel so much more comfortable about the trip! Merci!!!
Thank you ladies. A wonderful video that makes all of us hungry.
😊
We had an apartment in Paris for two weeks in 2011. Just outside the door to the apartment building was a local bakery. I was there every day at 1600 when the pain au chocolate came out. Loved the experience.
pain au choc are god tier

Fantastic Lucile, thank you. I'll echo some of the other folks who have commented below . . .this really makes me want to visit Paris sooner rather than later.
Great video. It's always so much cooler when it's the locales that tell people what is going on where they live instead of an outsider. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Southamerica and Happy 2024
Great video...lots of great food and desserts galore. ♥
Just love your videos always waiting for it...❤❤
When i lived there, (im from the UK) I got a taste for Jambon Beurre. So simple. So delicious.
Parfait! Mille merci fois, Lucille!

Superb. Love the "normal" neighborhoods of Paris. Thank you for your insights as a local. :)
Les pâtisseries parisiennes sont presque des oeuvres d'art éphémère 😊

Merciiii :D
You gals are so lovely. So 'French' - also Camille: "I am feeling very strong feelings towards this pastry". 😁🥰
Excellent review. My wife and I have to (one day) come to Paris. I have to brush up on my French if I want to check out the neighborhoods outside of the tourist areas. Thank you for your youtube post and the food you showed to is. Yummmmm!
Thank you so much for watching, I hope you and your wife can come to Paris soon! :) And do not worry, I've seen my local baker speak English and people understand the universal language of smiling while pointing at stuff :D
Aww those ducks 🥺 so hungry. I’m goin to Paris for the first time pretty soon thanks for your videos!
Glad I found your channel just subscribed 👍🏻
Looking super delicious ❤
Rue Des Battignolles! A lot of my family used to live there. I remember goign to the Marche in the 70s as a little kid.
camile's laugh is so infectious 😊
Agree with you about Batignolles, its so cute, well connected and local but ignored by tourists! Thats why i always go there when i visit Paris
I love French food. I love this vlog. Merry Christmas 🎍🎄
Thank you so much for watching! Merry Christmas to you too :)
That was so good I could almost taste it!
Thanks for this video. Cant wait to try these places in France. Would be helpful if the street names of these shops were provided in the description.
Lucile's smile is amazing, it's like a double dose of food, it's like a 95% dark chocolate 🍫
really like the city of Paris, especially the Eiffel Tower, you can tell right away that it is a famous and historical city, and I always dream of traveling to France.
can't wait to come visit and check these spots 😍
Yessss :D
That French food looks so delicious
It is very very good (but being French myself, I could be biased ;))
Your awesome and awesome video be safe out there ❤😎👍
The bread looks ridiculously good!
hey just thought I'd comment and say thanks for all these tips! I am heading to Paris the first week of May and took a lot of your tips
Oh that's so great to read! I hope you have a wonderful solo trip :)
I like the Foie gras on the move 😁 thank you for the video
wow your friend is very cool and really smart! so smart and so cool
Oh I love your channel- I subscribed!
thank you :D
Croissant is my fav pastry ever, but I also love apple pie. I didn't know it was a classic pie there, we also love it in Spain. It's funny because the pain au chocolat is called "napolitana", at least in the Basque Country xD you can find it stuffed with chocolate or pastry cream (I supose you also have it with that). I am learning French, I hope I can visit Paris or any places soon and speak with the natives.
N'hésite pas à me raconter si jamais tu la montres à tes élèves, ça me ferait super plaisir ! 😀
@@LucileHR Je la leur ai montrée ! Ils ont aimé ❤️
Thanks Lucile and Camille.
Lucile, as my Partner is from Versailles I am in France a Lot, I Love your Videos and adore the French ♥️
The Best Croissant and Pain au chocolat I have Ever had and I have had many is at Maison Lenôtre if you haven’t tried them from Lenôtre I promise you that you are missing out.
We have one in Parly Deux in Les Chesnay so have them All the time.
Heaven 😋♥️
Love your Charming videos
The package of Wyke English Cheddar, prominently displayed in the front of the sandwich shop case, gave me a laugh.
I love your videos! Eating delicious cakes is what I dreamed of doing.
You had me with the pain Au chocolat 🥐❤️
This video is great. As an American who watches a lot of Paris videos this is the most real experience you can get of Paris. Thank you for making this. You and your friend are hilarious. Please make more videos!
Thank you so much for your nice comment! These are all foods I eat at least every month (maybe not 3 cakes in a row but you get the idea haha) :)
How's France BTW, I love the vids keep it up(I love the fact that ur one of the only UA-camrs that go through their comments)
Oh hi :) Yes I love reading and answering comments :D France is awesome, it's fun to be back after all this time traveling!!
Enjoy every moment in your life
I think you may have convinced me to finally get out of the standard hotel croissant experience, Lucile! Definitely need to try Parisian patisseries next (3 days from now)! :)

That pistachio pastry at the end .. 🥰
I love that you gals are enjoying food! All of my friends are always on a diet and won’t eat 😢
Thank You Lucile.
Love your channel, glad to have accidentally found it. I always like French people talking and explaining things in English.
You are making me want to visit Paris
3:32 classic French! Always start panicking when they are surrounded.
girl, your hair is luxurious!
We hear 'pain au chocolat' and 'chocolatine' in Montreal. I never knew it was such a heated topic in France :)
น่ากินมากค่ะ🙏🙇♂️🙇🏻♀️🌹🌹
ha ha, funny timing, when you said french cheeses in the sandwich shop, the camera waa only looking at English cheeses from Somerset. WYKE and Godminster.
The sandwich made my mouth water.
Camille sounds like English is her first language.
Wow thanks, that means a lot !
You two make me laugh.... :) OMG heading to Paris in September, I need to begin my starvation plan now, the food looks out of this world!
Would you be able to make a review about the apple pie at l'Arpége? It's created by Alain Passard?
Love the video! Definitely have to try tbose Macaroons for sure.
OMG your friend is SO gorgeous!! 😍🙌🙌😍
Just found your channel. Great work. I'm your newest subscriber
welcome here :)
France beautiful historic places !
You're very pretty, love your hair!!! And yeah..... The cheese and three bread ... I would love to try real french bread and cheese!
Now I really want to go there in Paris France 😅❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing, enjoyed it, much appreciated.
Lucky one can enjoy it
As an Argentinian, I grew up eating mostly Italian-style food (nearly 60% of Argentinians of European descent have Italian roots) that includes some very nice pastries and sweets but nothing prepared me for this culinary feast. I was tempted to lick the screen! 😁😁 I have just discovered your videos and I am very glad I did. You are very charming (très française) Regards. Claudio
PS: Regards to Camille who is lovely and fun.
Será porque también soy argentina ! Saludos 😁
Beautiful food vlog love from India
Vous êtes very sympatbiques! ;) :)
Oh my gosh I am 53 and I need to find a way to get there this year. I grew up in Quebec, Canada similar foods but not Paris. Thanks for sharing your videos I am now starving 😂😂❤❤
Ohhh I'd love to visit Quebec!! What's your favorite food there??
Definitely all the bakeries there are amazing but you can't ever go wrong going to all the amazing smaller restaurants where the menu keeps changing with the seasons, they go right to the farmers to get fresh produce and meat. Honestly if I could only go to one province in Canada for me there is no question it would be Quebec the people also are very friendly. :)
Thank you so much, this makes me want to come visit even more :) I've always found Quebec people very friendly, I agree!
This is the main reason I would come to Paris for.
Awesome job Lucia thumb up 😊
Thank you :D
No problem Lucia
i see french food. i subscribed 😊❤😊
