Former fuel hauler/oilfield trucker, now a HEO at Suncor Fort Hills.....myself and beautiful Filipino wife support you and your family! Nice driving on those wet roads BTW!❤
Thank you for showing some family time along with your journey and delivery of fuel.Having lived in Alberta I can Identify with the slick road conditions.
Good video of alberta roads. Like this in 80’s, except we drove cars at first, than two wheel drive trucks, than the 4x4 truck to rig location. Muddy in April, somehow we never got stuck on the slime roads. I remember a guy driving and old VW bug, literally floated on top of the mud. Alberta Gumbo destroys vehicles. Our rigs burned 16,000 litres/day. Diesel was $0.20/litre. Bulk fuel trucks coming steady…..cheers.
I would say maybe average 20kph. With the road like that with those deep ruts you dont wanna go too fast or too slow I wasnt even checking my speed I was just focusing on the road and feeling it so I can’t even remember a set speed I was going at. But when it’s dry and hard then you can go 60 to 80 or whatever speed limit they have there
With all money made to cheap repair and pave this road.i did big pipeline job long time ago look like penny pitching they made oil but no oil paving crew yup.😮

Yessir no problem thanks to you as well for taking the time to watch it.
Nice. But instead of the looped music playing when ur driving just let the sound of the truck engine go.
Thanks and Noted the video was too long when I went off road so I decided to just speed it up and put music but yeah I agree
Yes absolutely! Thank you for suggesting that. I’ve been wanting to say something but didn’t.
Thanks!
@@johnmcgarry3335 thanks so much!! 😊

You must have some good traction tires. Don't stop. Giver...
Oh yeah tires were still really good truck I used didn’t get used this winter
Im curious....I've been to conklin/christina lake lots over the years....exactly what road were you on here? Was it north of conklin?
@@johnmcgarry3335 yes it was north of Conkline can’t remember the road I took but yeah it wasn’t too far from Conklin
Which is good truck driving school in Alberta?
There’s a lot it’s hard to tell. I would talk to nearby schools and compare
@@DRodTrucking ok, thank you man 👍🏾
Have one of us old timers teach you, then go to "school"....😂😊
One that actually teaches new recruits how to chain up, & not just tell them the employer will teach you.
what speed do you average when you're driving off road?
