- I Had a guy message me and told me he had a wrecked GSXR-1000, he wanted to get rid of it to make the wife happy so I went to check it out and we made a deal and it was significantly cheaper than a bike from COPART but the bike was badly wrecked. In this video I stripped it down and started repairing it and got it to run!

This is very relaxing and therapeutic to watch. So much better than all of the mindless stuff I usually watch. Truly a great channel. ✌️😁
Thanks!!
Same here.
Greetings from Germany.
Keep it goin', dude
I agree, British TV is awful. This is my first visit and have subscribed.
I was thinking of how hard the fuel pump was to take out on the yamaha r1 im working on😂
Great work - love the way you get stuck right in - no messin'! Thanks for sharing!
The level of confidence you exude when finding problems/issues with these bikes is awesome! You can tell by the way you handle the wiring guts you know how it all works and goes together!. That's real long-term experience right there. You know your way around a motorcycle so well it's really great to watch you get it done! Have a great day!
I really love your videos, it’s always straight to the point. Nice job and hoping to see your next videos soonest.
It's like you're just building a Tamiya Model kit, you make it so easy. Amazing!
Great progress. Really like the polished gas cap !
Awesome Video, God Bless Those Hands 🙏🏻
YES PLZ! More of dis build
No he visto demasiados videos de este UA-camr, pero me encanta la facilidad que tiene para realizar reparaciones, me siento en cierta parte identificado en la idea de darle otra vez vida a algo que sufrió desgaste mecánico y estético. 👍
Love this. Im currently working on a gsxr build and this video came in clutchhhh
Wow, anyone that can rebuild that much damage in one part video is amazing. This would've been like part 7 in any other channel. I'll subscribe💪🏽
Thanks! I expect this to be a 3-4 part build!
Great video, you’ve motivated me to finish my 2013 gsxr 750 build
Another awesome build begins! Great video bro, keep it up! Much love🤘🏽
Thanks so much for the support bro you’re the best!
Great job dude god bless those hands 🙏🏻🙏🏻
nice video 18min long but it felt like 6, thats what i like
watting for next part bro 😍
A wrecked bike rebuild with no obnoxious music. Very refreshing.
Lol yeah I gave up on the music it was more work for me and a lot of people didn’t like it.
love your channel man, keep up the great work!
Very interesting video, looking forward to the next instalment 👍👍
Great job Benjamin! Can’t wait for you next installment. I’ve always wanted to get a bike from salvage and rebuild it but never had the guts to do it. You inspire me. Thank you!!!
Thanks! And it’s definitely risky, if this frame turns out to be bent that’s a $2000-3000 frame So it could set me back a whole lot more so you definitely wanna know what you’re getting into when you’re purchasing a bike just do your research figure out what all the parts cost and factor in unexpected/miscellaneous costs so you’re not in the negative.
@@Benjamminoutdoors This really helps a lot ! 👍🙏
If you paid based on what it looked like, as opposed to actual damage, then bravo dude. You scored!
Ya, that's how online auctions work usually. I'm assuming this was bought online. Funny enough, there are people who make their living by doing nothing but examining auction items for people
Brilliant work
Can’t wait to see a finish video
I just acquired a crashed 2013 GSXR 1000 that has been sitting for 2 years or more, pulled the fairings off, checked the frame (good) has a crack in the clutch cover (JB weld) got power to the bike, No click, no nothing, no crank just one light went dim via jump pack. I already figured it wouldn't start. Guessing battery or starter switch on the handle (right side). ignition switch security bolt stripped so there's that. Otherwise bike is in great shape. Looking at new fairings, right side foot peg, exhaust broke off, rear brake lever bent but not hideously, chain, side mirrors, passenger saddle and all the love, patience I can give it.
Dang sounds like a pretty big project! Good luck with it!
@@Benjamminoutdoors Haha yeah it's throwing some challenges at me. Got it to crank (forgot to pull clutch in) won't fire though it wants to, gonna disconnect the kill and reconnect, look at TPS clueless at the moment.
You have some mad skills my man. Congratulations 👏👏👏
😊Thanks for you, my from 🇲🇨
Awesome build 👍 Greetings from India, Mumbai. ❤️🙏
Thanks!
Great content man love your channel
I really like this type of video, because that way I learn even more about how to get to repair a motorcycle, currently I cannot buy a new or second-hand motorcycle and when I see this type of video I could go a damaged one and fix it, that's why I like it This type of video I hope the next video will arrive soon, I die of old age saldudos from Veracruz Mexico.
Thanks! I will get it out ASAP!
LOL good and fast work :D its almost done.
Good job my friend 👍🏻
Thx for taking the time and money to do these videos
Sure! I love doing it just hoping sometime I can be 100% UA-cam so I can be more.
Very informative well done like the video 👍👍

Good work pal!✌🏻
Waiting for the next chapter !

i really liked reconditioning parts in the place of unwanted replacements

That was a nice video and a great project
Que buen video ....gracias
What a great job, you make it look easy, although I know it is not easy.
Wow it was very cool ,,,, if only in Indonesia the super bike was not expensive surely everyone from the middle class could feel the sensation of a motorbike of more than 600 cc,,, yang indo jika baca komen ini berharap bisa pake moge tpi ini masih angan2 kita satu server
Great job ,Great video , it's a real challenge , keep up the good work , best wishes
So hard working

Nice 👍🏼 job
Well played sir
When you dropped the oil plug, I laughed so hard cause I've been there lol
A lot of work is this bike. I just got 05 zx10r I'm rebuilding. 28 thousand miles on her. Hopefully she will last a while longer
makes me want to pick up a wrecked bike and rebuild it! so cool
nice video bro, peace !! from Malaysia.. you have a great video..
damm, this bike is pretty much brand new wrecked. You jackpotted on that one
I like your large displacement motorcycles
You brought it very interesting.
There are many motorcycle rebuilt channels, but they are very borring compared to yours.
Keep it up and bring us more projects.
You’re a cyborg!!keep on working 🙏🏽inspiring
Thanks!!
Thats a satisfactory thing
Fun from the Philippines
Lovely to watch someone who obviously knows his way around a motorbike, great video just subd
I have learned a lot but I still learn every day!
God job
Nice man
Lucky the engine wasn't damaged.🤗
Keren sekali bro videony saya subcriber indonesia dukung chanel kamu👍🏻
Great 👍
مبدع ولله
Wow 👍
All that work to do a test ride when a bench check would tell you if the forks are fucked.
We work in very different ways. Will keep watching though.
I’m definitely taking a risk, either way though I’m gonna be replacing it if they are bent.
You need to hold the clutch lever in before touching the starter button, or it will not do anything. It's a safety feature.
👍👍👍
I have a Honda Repsol I stretch my swing arm. Now the rear seat is pointing up and sitting high. Can I make the second seat straight!
Amazing and inspirational. Where do you get these from?
Anywhere I can find them.
Hey! very very nice video. love it how simple it looks.
i am trying to do the same on my channel with a cb500, just much less professional and slower :D
good for beginners tho!
Love your Content!
Greetings from Germany!
And about how long did it take you to rebuild this bad boy?
Спасибо дорогой!Всё просмотрел,но ни фига не понял-на словах,ну а как практику объясняешь-понятно👍успехов по жизни!☝✊👊✋
2:00 not sure if you know or not, but gsxrs you gotta hold the clutch in to start them, even in neutral. it's really dumb but 🤷♀️
Yeah at the end of the video I figured it out. pretty stupid mistake but this is my first GSXR, my Honda’s and yamahas didn’t require you to so it just slipped my mind to try it.
I love ❤ you … .. from Iraq 🇮🇶

whats name of the massive water falls in intro? interesting.
Been waiting bro...
Sorry promise I’m doing my best working a full-time job as well as I have eight projects lol
@@Benjamminoutdoors its ok bro... Keep uploading ..
Hey I'm kinda curious on where you got all of your parts from because I just bought a gsxr 600 and it was in wreck
Local Facebook marketplace is where I got most of these parts, and if you can’t find everything you need I go to eBay mainly (especially for used parts) and sometimes Amazon.
Well waiting the part 4 of cbr600 rebuild
Trying to work out some issues, once I get done I’ll upload it ASAP
@@Benjamminoutdoors OK nice, I love watching your videos
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What's the total cost of the rebuild including labour 🤔?
8:23 what is that thing I'm new to bikes and what is it used for
nice jabb,,thank you,,,nice day,,,
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
excellent job man, but here in Brazil due to the value of the dollar in relation to the local currency, a job like this would cost a very high amount, it would be unviable.
Dang.... that sucks...
Its the same here and in the US tbh. That bike will NEVER be worth the time spent on rebuilding it. The salvage title will kill the value.
Its a fun project and a good way to get a nice bike if you have the skills and time but not the cash but making a profit is unlikely.
@@jediknight1294 This isnt a salvage title though, but even with salvage titled stuff there’s room to make money you just can’t offer anywhere near as much for the actual vehicle in the first place.
@@Benjamminoutdoors I'm surprised, that level of damage would be a Cat D not economic to repair write off that can be sold back/let go at auction and put back on the road or a Cat C which is essentially the same in my neck of the woods (UK) and the frame damage MIGHT put it into the cat B not to he returned to the road where its destined to be a track bike.
Cat A parts only would be unlikely being dented rather than a cracked frame.
I'm really really surprised that with the dented frame, the subframe being busted and the 1500 of plastics needing to be replaced it wasn't costed into salvage.
@@jediknight1294 it was not taken to an insurance company that is why, the personal owner wrecked it and didn’t report it, this most definitely would’ve been totaled if an insurance company got a hold of it.
Toppp
Wow, how long have you been working with motorcycles? You’re really good at what you do man
Thanks! Starting working on bikes around 2016-2017.
@@Benjamminoutdoors cool! How did you learn to do it all so well? Is like your full time job or just a hobby?
@@mallvin2000 he isn't teaching you very well as the steering nut (big nut in the centre of upper triple tree) should be tightened before the upper pinch bolts on the top yoke.
👍,,
What is the name of the song in the beginning?
where are you ordering all need parts for repair?
eBay, or like a local guy on Facebook marketplace.
