This is a daft question, but I'll risk asking it anyway. I'd love to use a tool like this, but I've had serious problems in the past with crooks DMing my followers and trying to scam money from them. It got to the point where I had to tell folks that I would *never* DM anyone with a special deal, etc. So how would I incorporate a tool like this when DMing has such a bad reputation because that's usually how scammers operate (at least in my sector - spirituality).

The difference with Manychat is that they have to comment a word for the DM to trigger, so unless they commented the trigger word, there's no way you'd DM them. If this has been an issue for you in the past, perhaps if you decide to use it, you can warn people to only trust a DM from you if they've commented the trigger word. Such a shame to hear that people are doing things like that, it's so gross. Overall I wouldn't say DMs have a bad rep, but this isn't the first I've heard of a hesitancy to get into DMs so there's definitely something going on. - C

Some accounts even go as far as to list list in their bios "I never solicit via DM" or "No DMs". I think it has also been an issue with some celebrities where they've had to battle impersonators contacting followers via DM.
They have so much to figure out on how to allow creators to really monetize on the platform, based on a recent interview we watched with the head of Instagram, it doesn't seem close yet... - T

so im having an issue with the facetime feature on the instagram call, they changed up the way it is so it isnt half and half anymore, its just a full screen with your camera on the side. I dont know how to get rid of it or get it back to its og thing
Hi! I'm fairly sure that's just a change in the layout and how it'll be moving forward. If you can't see a way to change it back, it means that that's the new layout. It could also just disappear if it's a test and it doesn't pan out - C

Hi! A few people have DM'd us about that on IG today. We haven't seen it in any of our feeds or our clients' feeds, but it's likely something that they're testing and it could go either way - it might roll out to everyone soon enough, or it could just go away. Time will tell (unless Mosseri does a post about it lol)! - C
I’m currently in Instagram jail for a comment I made on a ad that popped up in my feed about a company selling a knock off drone that resembles a name brand drone. I’m so annoyed that freedom of speech has been ripped away from Instagram and every little thing someone says goes against their community guidelines. I filed a report and everything and still cannot comment on a post until 8/11. Very annoying!

I have an IG account, business settings, I can no longer see the date something was posted. If I switch to personal accounts I can see it. If this is covered drop video times stamp 😫

@@Highseasonco i think you can, but I was looking for segmenting audiences instead of “inviting everyone”. What I read was that you could select a certain group and segment. But not seeing that in the audience section. Mine only shows “everyone”.
@@lumiopus Gotcha. Could be that your account currently doesn't have that option, or that they haven't brought it in as yet. My guess is it's a newer feature that they're still testing. Since there doesn't seem to be anything online about it at all apart from one sentence, they haven't been promoting the multiple channel option which suggests that it's still in a testing phase to see if there's interest at scale

If I am starting a theme page should I make it a business page or creator page.. And as far as trying to gain organic growth should I boost post or run ads which would be the best option..
Hey, for a theme page would recommend it's a Creator Profile since that's where the majority of features are, and attention from the platform. If you want organic growth then you'd run no ads at all, but to increase your reach with paid, once your profile is set up you can run ads directing people to visit your profile. I have a question as it pertains to using music via the Instagram music library. Why am I being penalized if I share a Reel to my Facebook account that has mainstream music that I got from the Instagram library? Aren’t Instagram and Facebook ran by the same company? Why give the option to share a reel if you are just going to be penalized for using copyrighted music? Here lately I have been using Epidemic Sound to avoid this issue.
Hi! If you want to post on both IG and FB Reels, you'd need to post on both natively and use their respective libraries. While they are the same company, I believe the laws/rules around copyright music are different for each and we just have to post separately - C

Great question! They both serve their own purpose, so one isn't better than the other technically. Why collaboration on music its gone ? Just only show one Artist on each track . Before you could see any artist they did music now just first one
