The good thing is it's a great time to get involved, I'd imagine Descript is much more powerful than it was last year so there'll be a lot you can do, and the learning curve is pretty chill. I knew about Descript but I had not taken advantage of it yet. This video is SUPER informative. I'm debating between CapCut and Descript. I loved the ease of use of Descript, but in the free version I can't make reels without watermark...any comments when comparing the 2 tools?
Hi Ana, great question. Personally, I don't really enjoy CapCut as it's way too fiddly and annoying for me to do the minute edits, and there's always an issue with apostrophes. Descript uses a document format so it's significantly easier and faster to use, and IMO it's worth paying to remove the watermark. Hope that helps! - C

In my own experience, the keys to quick, quality content creation are batch recording and keeping transitions simple.
Batching is key; simple transitions can certainly assist in a speedier turn around! - C
