This is helpful! I am always worried about putting text in carousel posts though for example, because Adam Mosseri talks about how the algorithm ranks content with watermarks (or perhaps text too?) lower, because he says they've found people don't really like to see it.
So glad this was helpful for you! The note re: watermarks is correct (so anything that promotes/showcases another platform) but there is definitely no issue with having text in carousels or on your reels. They usually recommend adding text to provide additional context to viewers but also for SEO as well, so you're all clear there. Also definitely want to make sure you have captions if it's video with audible speech! - T

@@brianballoonphotography that wouldn't be a problem at all! Would just not let the end card run too long as every second counts on a reel, and typically the priority is to get a re-watch vs really letting someone know when the reel has ended. - T

What's the ideal font size for infographic posts? Mine are too tiny
Really great question! We avoid going lower than 16pt on text, but you could also create a test account, or use a platform like unum/planoly/later to preview how it'll show up on feed. - T
What if you don’t make talking head videos? I’m a photographer and a Drone pilot so my content has to do with photography and either Drone videos that I edit to a cinematic soundtrack or aerial photos. I do feel I have more reach when I make Reels than anything.
Sounds like you have it sorted! Talking head videos aren't essential, they're just a great way to connect. It's not always a fit for every business, so if you've got it figured out for your niche then you're all set - C
