I ordered an F350 SRW, HO, Platinum, Tremor with some other adds, I am planning on not receiving the truck till February, March. I sure hope I get it by then. Beautiful Truck!!
Awesome looking truck can’t wait to see what you are going to do with the tremor. I will be ordering one very soon and bringing it in. Is there any performance upgrades available like exhaust intake programming or pedal boosters?
Banks is working on tuning from what we understand, as well as an intake. Their pedal Monster is also already a confirmed fit. To be honest though, there's no need for more power on these trucks!
I expect you'll get 300,000 miles with care, but by then who knows where it will be. Just be mindful and know that you don't have to Max it out for it to be reliable for a smart move. I can only imagine the stress for every possible issue well before it's actually yours.
Love this truck and really wanting to place an order for one. Would you guys recommend go with the 4.30 gears if you are gonna run 37’s at the most? Also is there any real benefit to getting the trot package if you are gonna end up going with a carli commuter leveling kit?
Hi again guys. Planning to bring my truck to you guys eventually. It’s a new 2023 F-350 long bed, high output, lariat, same color but mine has the 3.55 gears. Will that work out better with the 38s? Thinking pintop kit with deavers in back. But possible to add long travel airbags to keep tow capacity? Also, 2 other things… Which specific steps did you guys use on this truck? Normal amp research steps? And the banks single big tip exhaust, will it be able to be modified and fit with Carli trophy hitch in the future? Thanks for your help on these decisions.
I ordered a carli backcountry suspension lift for my truck, same truck as on this video 2023 ford f250 FX4 lariat. I want to know if the Fuel Vapor wheels will fit this truck now. I want to go with 18" or 20's because the looks and 35 or 37 tires. Although I live in the mountains I don't do a lot of offroading. What kind of offset do you recommend? I need to know this because I don't want my wheels to stick out more than 1 or 2 inches.
Just bought this 23 f350. I don’t want to mess too much with the suspension but do want a meatier look with tire n rims. With a tread that sticks out a little bit. Looks to narrow when the tread stay under the fender. What would you guys suggest with offset. I would like to go 20x9.
It’s illegal. We live in Temecula and got pulled over then ticketed & had to put the truck back to stock configuration. Cost me $550 ticket and I had to pay to put back to stock trim (wheels & tires) then get truck inspected. At least the cop allowed me to drive home. He said he could have impounded my truck since the tires were 1” outside the fender wells and not same as factory delivered. We used to just put mud flaps behind the tire, but not any more. 😢
What exhaust is that? Did you do any other changes to the engine / exhaust and how did you adjust the speedometer? MANY years ago where the side step is WAS a locking box to keep tools and other things in.
The exhaust is a Banks DPF back system, but there's no other changes to the engine or tuning on the truck. We used ForScan to adjust the speedo for the new tires.
Believe it or not, this truck gets awesome fuel economy. We’re getting 18-20 driving to and from work on a 100 mile round trip. That’s better than our 2020 by 1-2 mpg.
It’s a Banks Monster 5” DPF back exhaust. Smog legal but really improves the looks. www.cjcoffroad.com/collections/exhaust-pipe-exhaust-performance/products/2017-ford-super-duty-f-250-f-350-banks-monster-dpf-back-exhaust-system
I'm having issues with my TPMS sensors. I have 37x13.50R17 Geolander X-AT's on 17"x9" Black Rhino Warlords on my '23 Super Duty & though the sensors are running the same frequency the truck won't learn them. The truck max loaded would require probably not more than 50psi per tire. I'm looking to have the Ford dealership install Ford sensors to hopefully resolve this issue at Custom Offsets dime but will they be able to set new parameters in the truck for the likely lower psi parameters than the stock tires?
This is why we always use stock sensors. The aftermarket ones just never work correctly, especially the cheaper options. That said, you will need to use ForScan to reset your TPMS thresholds for the new tires. We recommend no higher than 45 front 40 rear, but you can likely go a lot lower.
@@CJCOffRoad Thanks. You would think Custom Offsets would have figured that one out as well. The reason I say 50 psi up front 55 psi in the rear is my '17 when fully loaded with tools & topper, aftermarket bumpers, side steps, airbags, not with lumber on the rack I was at 9600-9800 lbs. Doing the calculations off the tires for max load at max psi 1lb of air carries roughly 49lbs of load. Max load rating on the truck is 10500. I think I ran my 35's on my '17 at 60 & 63 psi, & didn't seem to have any uneven wear, nor any sensor issues from those aftermarket tpms sensors & got about 50,000 out of them per set. Didn't think there would be an issue this time. Odd. Thanks again.
It all depends on what rear options you go with. The soft ride leaf packs alone reduce capacity to about 80% of stock, but we offer airbag kits specifically for Carli leaf packs that bring you right up to stock capacity with no loss to travel or ride.
it doesn't rub at all! Assuming both trucks are on 37s, roof height is 86” for the 4.5/5.5” and 84” for the level height system. The level height kit has a 60.5” bed rail height and the 4.5/5.5 system has a 62.5” bed rail height.
-18 offset is your issue. That's a VERY aggressive wheel spec to run with a 37/13.5 tire. You can trim more, but ideally we'd recommend changing wheels.
We'd recommend just using Sumo Springs or Timbrens up front during plow season if you find you need more capacity. That way you actually improve ride rather than being held back by the stiff plow springs year round.
@@CJCOffRoad Thank you very much - when the truck arrives I will call and schedule having mine set up like this but will probably just keep the springs on all year. I am use to a rough ride. Can those stiffer springs be added to a Tremor? I cannot order the plow pkg on the Tremor but would love to have it and this is a great work around.

Im suprised its even legal to put larger tires let alone a lift kit in California 😂

Man I wish they did kits for GM
GM should go straight axle that IFS is lagging.
Cody, did you update the Ford logos to black ones? Looks like it.
For now it's still got the stock emblems!
I realize that you are not buying this for fuel efficiency but apples to apples comparison what is the HO to standard power stroke like?

What’s mpg with the 37’s and 38’s?
MPG? Never heard of her.
I’m getting 15 in town and 19 highway with 38s
We get about 16 around town, and then 18-20 on the highway in this truck. It’s phenomenal mileage for a truck on 38s
Mpg is no
I get the same mileage with a weight loss in my 15 Ramon 37s 🤔 guess I need a 10 speed or to drive like a grandpa.

won't this wheels throw stones and other stuff from road to side body and destroy paint?

Carbonized Grey Metallic.
They need to make a ram with atleast a 8 speed ….
It's about to get an 8 speed ZF transmission!
Would be perfect with another .75 "- 1" taller in the back. We like to carry stuff.
That’s very easy to do! Keep in mind this was also filmed on a not level slope.
Get airbags
The halogen tailights are a joke.... You have to order a platinum or limited to get LED tails and projector fronts.
Agreed.

What's the 5" back equal too? -19?
think close to -6. looks like its a 9.5" wide wheel
5" BS on a 9.5 wheel translates to -6 offset.
