@@thomasbriansavingmoney I had to end up taking a piece of the engine to get to the sensor because I wasn't able to fit anything through the hole with the swivel. There was some very annoying bolts around it, but I finally got it done and was able to smog my van.
Like your method....... I did it myself too and saved over $425 that it would of cost me if I hired a mechanic to install the knock sensor. Its the Labor that costs the most because the knock sensor only costs about $27 - $39 dollars depending where you buy it. My knock sensor cost me $27.00 It took me a total of 3.75 hours from start to finish....but well worth it.
Great video , have same job broken wires and knock sensor broke in my hand , I actually was able to get my hand under the plenum chamber rather easily , so no removal of the intake or fuel lines at all
Just did this to my 2000 Honda Odyssey. Same exact problem rat nest and chewed wires and all. Thanks for the video keep up the great work
I need to do this for my car in a couple of days. Imma head to harbor freight to make sure i have all the right tools. Thanks for the video
you got it, thanks for watching.

Thankyou for your video, do you know if the sensor is in the same position on a 2006 model odyssey.
Thanks for the video. Is this the same location for a 1999 and does the wire go under or over the metal part?
Did tor TCS light come on withe the knock sensor problem?
Thanks
How did you get the pigtail out?
Hello... what type of lube used for injectors? Thanks
thanks my amigo for the video
I have a 1998 Honda Accord 3.0 V6, is the knock sensor in the same location ? I have looked and cannot see one. Thanks.
Ok i did everything but, how do I get the sensor out of there??? What tools to use? I see it but can't get to it???
The crayon idea is great
Curious how you got the sensor back in and aligned with the hole?
It should just slide right in. thanks for watching!
What type of socket u used? I have u 1/2” drive 24m/6pnt but can’t fit through hole to get to
@@chazzy97akm same problem here as you need deep socket to be able to fit around plastic top of sensor. Did you ever figured it out?
What size socket was used to put the new one in
i used a 13/16 deep socket. thanks for watching.
Poor job on the pig tail connector.
You didn't even show how you got the pigtail out
Is your magnet the magnet of a speaker? 😂😜 genius. Those magnets are stronger than the ones on magnetic trays
You left out the hard, important parts...
sorry it didn't help you.thanks for watching!
