All of your Metro Detroit and Detroit city adventures are really cool. I especially like the 8 Mile Rd . You went past my stomping grounds. I drove these roadside countless times. Keep up your good work and continue your Excellency. 👍💪

Brings back memories. Drove I-75 south from Troy to either 7 Mile or McNichols when I worked at Chrysler Center in 1979. Some parts look similar, but there were no sound barrier walls back then.

Freeways in the Midwest seem so orderly compared to other regions in the country.

Definitely more peaceful than the ones in the Northeast and the South. Chicago is the exception though.

Definitely. I live in a sprawled city in the South and its chaos everyday.@@MileageMikeTravels

@2:59, I love it when highway engineers implement safety measures like the solid white line with < < < signs . Helps people pay attention.

they did that cause there was a lot of crazy accidents in that stretch

And the OP crossed a solid white line at the 0:29 mark while merging onto the highway. That is a traffic violation.
Oops Correction: sorry, a single solid white line means that crossing it is “discouraged”. It does not prohibit crossing. A double solid white line prohibits crossing and is a violation.

Bro I got to give you credit you have hit the whole Midwest starting from Kansas and I probably believe now you might be going toward Montreal I'm especially glad that you was able to enter my hometown of G Rapids Michigan which now I'm living in I guess your old stomping grounds which is Charlotte NC but I will say you definitely have stepped it up cuz he used to be a guy that was on UA-cam about 7 years ago named freeway Jim and he did UA-cam videos that did a lot of freeway driving throughout the country but I guess he got older now and not willing to do those videos so you have kind of took over his spot so now we got mileage Mike and we got my guy from Detroit Charlie Bo 313 that does more inner city videos both of y'all doing a good job can't wait to see you when you get back to the US so I could probably see you do Buffalo Erie Cleveland maybe Akron and probably finish out the tour in Toledo

Appreciate man. Yeah I'm already in Pittsburgh now and hit those places you mentioned. After this I'm heading back to NC for a much needed break.
