I sincerely hope every hunter in the world sees this video. Should be shown in every hunter safety class taught. You folks are the gold standard. Cheers boys and girls. Shoot straight this coming season 💪
Excellent editing and content. As a fellow tracker here in southern Maine, I owe my start to Susanne. These two women are definitely the most experienced trackers you can find in New England. I think your film should be required viewing in all Hunter education courses, too.
We had such a great time working with Susanne, Lindsay and the dogs on this project. Glad you are enjoying the our content, we have lots of projects in the works coming forward.
Totally awesome video. I work with police dog teams and remember a quote from a police dog handler: "I love being able to do with my dog what no one else can do."
Suzanne and the legend himself, “Buster Keaton”, found a doe for me in 2013. It opened my eyes to the world of blood tracking. Has anyone nominated Suzanne for the legendary guide award yet? She’s the real deal and her passion for her craft is second to none. A true master. Great video. A very important topic and this video articulated it’s benefits well.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I love that Buster is getting mention from his …. Without him, certainly tracking in Maine would not be what it is today💕
Great video Susanne (my sister in law) and her crew. As a hunter I am glad there are people out there that have a passion to preserve our hunting heritage!
Amazing job. Thanks so much for making this. I never knew there was such a resource in Maine for the recovery of deer. I never want to be in the position but to know these folks are out there and have such a passion for it is comforting in a way.
We had a great time making the film thanks for commenting you can be assured that if you need tracking help you’re going to find it in the great state of Maine cheers!
Great job with this video! As a tracker myself, I think you really nailed the essence of the dog tracker, and what takes place along the way. Well done folks.
Very complete film. Education, passion, people, wildlife…….not to mention the emotional, mental, and physical aspects. Amazing work putting this together and capturing all that.
Great video! Experienced the super dogs featured in this video last year while on the track of a friends deer. Axle blew me away every minute we were on that adventure! Highest praise to you all!
Happy to know you enjoyed the film. Our growth has been slow for sure, it’s all been organic. Kinda the out the back door style, no tricks. I believe in the long run it will pay off.
Nik it was so great having all your help with the project, what a wonderful collaboration. I think we have planted a seed for future engagement with states that currently don’t allow the use of dogs for recovery of wounded large game.
@@huntingme They can smell on a level we cant even imagine! I watch all your videos since the Sea Bucks days. I appreciate the quality of your films, they inspire me to be a better videographer/editor!
Another awesome video. There is so much fantastic info here, with or without a dog. As good as these dogs may be at tracking...I think these women may be some of the best trackers in the woods! Ive used a dog before and it was so educational. Love that you spent the time on this video giving tribute to such an important part of the hunt.
The dogs continue to amaze us all. I learned making this film to never second guess them. We several times would go a distance of 100 plus yards with no visible sine and then there it was, a drop of blood.
Great film! Thanks for making a great video showing how much of a resource these amazing dogs and people are. Good to show others the amount of effort they put in!!
Thank you Diane So much!! It means a lot from a top notch tracker like yourself! I learn from you every season. Thank you for making the awesome high back video, I have that link at the ready and send it out dozens of times every tracking season
This is awesome. You guys make some of the best films on YT and I honestly can't believe there aren't more subs. I've always believed dogs are a great way to help you find your deer, unfortunately MA where I live and do most of my hunting doesn't allow it. Anything that's practical for successfully taking big game is illegal here. Massa-two-shits indeed...
I've been whitetail hunting for more than 50 years. In 2021 I shot the biggest buck of my life. There was bright red blood the length of the arrow and a good blood trail. 30 minutes after the shot I started to track the buck, I saw him 100 yards in front of me walking slowly. I decided to stop and back out. Later that afternoon we jumped the deer not 60 yards from where I had stopped trailing him earlier. We never found him even though we looked for two days. What I found out later is my bow had a main screw stripped out by the archery shop employee and he never bothered to tell me, so my bow wasn't on like I thought. I believe I hit the buck low and got one lung. We had trailcam pics of a really nice buck with a triangle wound right where I saw my arrow hit the buck I shot. I couldn't 💯 percent say it was the same buck. I hope he lived to breed many does, but I'll never know for sure and it really bothers me to this day. He's the only deer I didn't recover in all the years I've hunted, but it still is something I think about every time I hunt. Needless to say I gave the archery shop a hard time about it. How can you replace the string and serving on a customer bow, damage it, and not say anything? I won't ever go back for service there again.
I shot a beautiful Muley and i had never missed or had a deer move more than 10 yards before. But i hit this buck good, his back arched and you could hear the thud of the 338 wm hitting heavy, but he took two bounds into a raging river. We followed the river for an hour but finally gave up at some falls. That really sucked i was tempted to give up i felt so bad.
Agreed unfortunately some states don’t allow trackers or hunters to dispatch game while the dog is present.. Wisconsin being one of the states but I’ve been working to get that changed here in Wisconsin
I think the general consensus in Wisconsin is that tracking has never been illegal… some trackers in Wisconsin are worried to rock the boat, and make a good thing worse by addressing the dispatch issue. The people of Wisconsin need to know their government to know if it’s worth addressing it.
I sincerely hope every hunter in the world sees this video. Should be shown in every hunter safety class taught. You folks are the gold standard. Cheers boys and girls. Shoot straight this coming season 💪

Very well done! Lindsay and Aldo are held in very high regard here in Eastern Maine. It's amazing to watch them work.
Thanks Vance I’m glad that you enjoyed the film both Susanne and Lindsay are superheroes in my book when it comes to recovering large game animals.

Deborah you hit the nail on the head! It’s just incredible what the dogs and trackers can accomplish together.
Excellent work to everyone involved in this. Definitely something that people need to see and understand.

Amazing that the dog can track while being held!!!! 😱 such a cool film!!!
Kinda hard to imagine isn’t it. The portion of the track we did wile holding the dog was over 300 yards. Glad you enjoyed the film.

Do you have any turkey hunting footage from this year
What bread of dog are you using?
whoever has the kill shot needs to take it asap. Don't make the animal suffer 1 extra second
Bob I think we all agree with on that one. I hope you enjoyed the film.
