You're right. Commercially grown tomatoes are the most un ripe tomatoes I have ever eaten in California. That is why we grow our own tomatoes. Bloody red fruit. Sauce to die for. The biggest Mule deer you find in California are along the Colorado river where they grow Alfalfa.
