This was an amazing Vid kinda funny though when a character is so strong they have to equalize stats for most of the people he goes up against. Agreed entirely with this Video though, Goku may be able to actually start winning some fights when he begins to increase his arsenal of techniques rather than just transformations, “maybe”
Thank you, and yeah. Goku and a lot of characters of his ilk have to be dragged down stat wise or else they bully a lot of people. And I think the DBS manga is beefing up his arsenal slowly, which is good.

@@thatguywithapencil if goku used instant kamehameha it would atomize his hearts Hakai can’t be full countered because the counter would be erased If he used the closer range hakai it would completely erase meliodas and he can’t sense it because he doesn’t have god ki And goku can resist meliodas’s attacks for a FEWA Seconds giving him time to erase meliodas. But he’s not blood thirsty unless it’s a death battle goku loses because he has killing attacks using techniques and ability’s at the same time killing meliodas like getting far away, using his literal ‘shadow’ clones (moving at super speed to make it look like there are multiple clones) and uses a kamehameha at all distances, then closing in on meliodas and making meliodas unable to full counter, and if meliodas uses his dangerous attacks, like the darkness ir any other Big AOE attack goku would resist for a few seconds. Lore meta in combination with upscaling. However, lore meta does lack a specific time frame, so one can just upscale from calcs for characters like Tarmiel which put him at Large Planetary and go up from there with Demon mark and Assault Mode scaling and multipliers, plus purgatory amps. Equal stats is if both have the same power, speed, and durability. Unequal stats is if both of them have no limitations. Unequalized, Meliodas dies instantly. Goku is way too fast and strong. Equalized, it becomes much closer but I give Meliodas the edge due to his abilities.

I think her magic comes in the form of fuel, just like Merlin. And I think the lake is actually just "the most magically enriched spot" in Britannia, rather than having actual infinite power. It's why Merlin needed the power from the Seven Deadly Sins combo attack which was stored in the lake to forcefully awaken Arthur has the King of Chaos, rather than just the lake itself.

I doubt that. We've seen Goku used a failed, slow version of the Hakai that doesn't even work properly and takes time to be built up, and can be acted against. It could work, and he could do it, I just think its unlikely.
@@tolerateceez Luffy (Gear Fourth) & Meliodas (Base) are equal if Meliodas does not have a weapon. Luffy can likely be close to Meliodas’ speed in Snakeman, and with observation haki he will dodge most attacks. But Meliodas doesn’t need a sword, he was able to inflict over 100 sword cuts with his sword in under a second, and break a mountain with a twig. Luffy has no answer to the sheer force behind these cuts. The impact would be nullified, Full Counter is useless as punches are not magical in nature. Meliodas wins with high difficulty without a weapon, Meliodas wins with low difficulty with his sword.
That was a genuine mistake. It wouldn't be banned, but it wouldn't be an amp to reflected attacks. It would just be the same attack thrown back, my fault. And Jose, I didn't put enough emphasis on it in the video, but at 1:02 I state magic and ki are equalized like the stats.
Goku ultra instinct allows him to activate ki attacks remotely right next to meliodas like he did with jiren when he snapped his fingers so he can still do damage while keeping distance but at equal stats meliodas may just dodge or counter it. Also meliodas said that demons can heal but unless you're immortal the damage still stays and weakens you just like when Hendrickson was becoming incapacitated and ripping open after taking so much damage even though his wounds had previously healed. If goku had a few senzu beans then he could heal all the damage unless he has like a hole in him or missing limb but meliodas would just keep accumulating it. Of course then the revenge counter may prove problematic for goku.
That is true, I forgot about the remote ki blasts and he spawn and detonate. And while that is true, remember, even an impure lesser Demon like Hendrickson was regenerating from insane levels of damage repeatedly before tiring out. A supreme level Demon like Meliodas would have a much higher time limit before wearing out. And to be fair, I didn't really think of including Senzu beans on Goku, but I gave meliodas his sword, so I guess Senzus should have been factored in. And Revenge Counter would be bad if it hit.
This was a pretty good video but you left some stuff out I would first like to say MUI is not a transformation so saying that being close in power cancels it out is wrong it would be more like let’s say you put Jiren up against base Goku so you would need to vastly surpass Goku’s power if we’re doing anime, also Goku has regenerative power seeing as he brought him self back to life in his second fight with hit and regenerated his heart whilst fighting beerus, lastly I don’t believe Meliodas could regenerate seeing as if he can bring back cells it wouldn’t work because it has been stated and shown many times that he could destroy atoms even without hakai but besides this good video but to be fair my second point wouldn’t count since ur doing manga Goku because he’s never done this in the manga
Well, MUI is a transformation, one that he gets stronger in, which is why he suddenly overpowers Jiren. There wasn't really a massive power gap between the two. And Goku has very minor healing of himself that he needs time to do, he's never healed himself mid fight. And when has Goku destroyed atoms? Thank you though!

I was going to do Zeldris against someone else, but I think it's even worse for Goku because due to the Demon King's Power and Ominous Nebula, Goku can actually do nothing.
Goku can sense malice. Has shown precognition. He has his ki sensing. He can locate someone by feeling vibrations in the air. Coupled that with his analytical prediction and him having ui along with being able to use IT and meliodas isn't touching him with anything. And even if he could, ui automatically makes goku's body as sturdier as necessary. It protects his vitals. And he can shift his vitals. Goku's beams and ki blasts have massive aoe so meliodas wouldn't be able to survive a ki blast bombardment or any beam launched at or near him. He wouldn't be able to react to a warp kamehameha. Or a warp hakai which is something goku did to zamasu. Kienzen is a deal ender too. Goku can't also be sensed when in ui. When he evades or attacks. His shockwaves alone have massive aoe as shown against beerus.
The problem here is none of Goku's moves are magic full counter wouldn't work on natural energy at least I haven't seen so in the series where everyone is based in magic power. Hakai it's over. Kamehameha it's over and if he decided to use the Genki Dama meliodas uses mostly evil energy which the Genki Dama destroys idk even with the stats even I still don't think it goes in the favor of Meliodas
I did specify that energies are equalized for one, so I don't think every attack Goku does is just going to land, and while I don't think its impossible for Goku to win, especially with Hakai, I doubt he would be able to to make a Genki Dama for one, and I still think it goes toward Meliodas since a lot of Goku's more dangerous techniques either take time (Genki Dama) or he normally doesn't use in character (Hakai). I lean toward Meliodas because he seems like a hard counter equal stats, since Ultra Instinct has problems dodging AOEs and multiple angles, and when equalized out is very vulnerable to being matched up.

I will say with equal stats it's a good fight but the AOE moves will definitely be an issue although outside of those I don't see Meliodas being able to stand toe to toe in a all out brawl because most of his feats are him power cliffing people so with equal stats I'd say more 50/50 because at the end of the day if we're making the abilities more equal in terms of their respective universes there's no reason Goku couldn't spam IT and Meliodas being able to sense him in return of course
What it really comes down to is if goku can destroy all seven hearts Hakai handled zamasu healing who was immortal and I still think that even with verse equalization that meli couldn't handle hakai i know status promition is similar but you gotta admit the hakai is on a different level and when he's in his susanoo form magic doesn't affect him shown when moro was using absorption magic and goku's energy stopped being drained while he was being still and the only way to counter it before was with speed and so if he's in susanoo alot of meli attacks wouldn't matter also goku can use god bind where he can paralyze people Temporarily so that gives him free time to kamahamaha to melis hearts also only people with go ki can sense goku's energy especially if were doing verse equalization if he just has basic ki/magic I dont see him sense the godly ki which is different also goku does have minor regen ability while in ssg using god ki if you remember also again if goku goes in susanoo most attacks arent working regardless if its magic or not and even if they do he's taking minor damage then after that he can use god bind in him to paralyze him and then hakai him while he's incapacitated its the perfect blood lusted plan god bind is dangerous it even stopped broly and Moro so theres no reason its not working on meli then hakai does its thing
Forgot to mention the problem with full counter and melies other attacks is db characters redirect their own energy all the time even after it leaves their grasp they can still manipulate it or since its still ki they can just swat it away as long as its equalized goku can smack down or redirect the average attack and also the can make ki barriers and as we recently learned goku can haki pretty much anything living or non living shown in when he used it on rocks and weve seen beerus use it own whole planets and if I remeber it has been shown to erase ki before with frieza so arguably blood lusted goku can haki any attack thats coming at him sorta just erase it so he could proably hakai purgatory fire out of existence or anu attack
@@jakobemoore4625 1. It doesn't matter that Hakai is on a different level normally. The stats are equalized, at the moment, the Hakai is just a different ki attack that can get Full Countered like the rest of them. 2. The reason Goku wasn't getting his ki drained wasn't because the Susanoo provided any magic resistance, it's just that Goku was no longer touching Planet Moro, which was a requirement for the magic to activate. Allso, the Susanoo, like Goku, is not indestructible, though it could take damage for Goku. 3. The God Bind is also a technique I did forget to mention, I'll give Goku that. However, considering Meliodas would be on equal standing with Goku, the paralysis would not last that long, and the likelihood of a single Kamehameha vaporizing Meliodas when the playing field is equalized, is extremely unlikely. I could see it doing extreme damage, but considering Meliodas' healing capabilities and the likelihood of clones being out, I see this being a technique that will have to be repeated. However, this is another win condition, I'll give you that. 4. Remember, the God Bind works well on people weaker than Goku. Like Moro and Broly. We haven't seen it used on an equal, such as when Broly matched Goku or when Moro matched Goku. Why? Likely because its not as effective. I'm not saying it would be a useless technique, I just don't think it'd be as perfect combination as you think it would be. If it was, it would be used as such. 5. The Hakai is a win condition as well, it's just one that Goku never really uses in character. He used it once, against Zamasu when extremely desperate as a last resort. He didn't even use it against Moro, when it should have been on the first forefront of his mind once Moro became an equal to him. Though I'll give that one though, as if a God Bind is able to hold Meliodas still for long enough, then a Hakai could do it's job. 6. Same thing as before. Goku isn't a God of Destruction, he doesn't Hakai anything and everything, and the Hakai still has limits. I don't see Goku Hakaing anything twice the power he has being launched right back at him, as it's beyond his limits. For a bloodlusted Goku, he then needed to deal with a bloodlusted Meliodas, so it comes down to a who can erase who first scenario, since both beings have the capability to do so. Then its a 50/50 shot.
@@thatguywithapencil I'm going to ignore everything except the susano and hakai part bc I disagree with you yes the requirement was you touch the ground or moro and his susanoo is made of pure ki and he was touching the ground and restraining moro with his arms which shows that he was phyiscally touching the ground and moro, yet moro wasn't able to absorb his susanoo and to moro who was still draining energy theres no reason to especially since its made of pure ki even if he didn't drain regular goku he should have absorbes the bigger one which was touching everything necessary and moro has shown to be able to muti task as he was still doing it to everyone and he used several arms to combat goku at the same and even when goku went to initially deliver the punch grabbing him drained his energy showing he still wanted to drain energy and now hakai, hakai isn't normal ki its god ki otherwise everybody would be able to do it which isn't something most people can do even vegeta somebody who wouldn't care about using it hasent been shown to use it when it's arguably in character for him to use something like hakai also we've only seen it twice once against zamasu where he barley knew how to use it and again against moro when he used it to destroy the area around moro so goku has way better control as we can see he only needs one arm and he did it instantly no hesitation so now we know gokus starting to use it more casually and towards the end of fight before moro became the planet goku put his hand in postion to hakai him and In ultra instinct his body moves own its own so its possible that goku uses it without even thinking about it against people
Bro meliodas original magic powers is literal destruction hakai isn't on meliodas darkness level when he beats the demon king and takes the throne his powers are literally ao great that he won't survive a day in earth relm without unintentionally destroying everything in his path
Even if Goku has all his powers at full and meliodas the same , meliodas wins he could just duplicate himself then he will be in his true magic form on all clones that means his power will rise up the more magic he uses and he could use trillion dark for all his clones and revenge counter if his clones are at the verge of death so he won't waste his clones (more in my moments)
To be honest am not saying Goku won't have a chance at winning but it's a 50/50 for both since meliodas has 7 hearts and Goku only has 1, if Goku stabs his heart he won't know that meliodas is still alive and has 6 hearts left and if meliodas gives up 6/7 hearts and does his ritual he will turn into indura (indura a Destructive monster) so meliodas would have the advantage
Yea, no gokus hakai isnt just some ordinary ki attack or even invisble wave of energy its existence erasure while meliodas is just soul manipulation the end result similar but theres a big differnece goku's hakai can erase all types of matter and energy and soul hence why the body dissapears while its happening compared to meli soul manipulation where he only attatcks the soul, existence erasure is massively more potent and stronger than regular soul manipulation so much so that its considered a sub category of existence erasure in no way is comparable if two character's were to go against each other regardless of durability and strength differences if one had soul manipulation and one had existence erasure the one with existence erasure would win 100% of the time you don't have to take my word for it you can go to any wiki and they'll confirm this if meliodas tried to full counter hakai it most likely would just end up erasing his sword aswell Now on to ultra instinct yes jiren countered it but that was then this is now as stated ultra instinct can get stronger when he fought moro in mui not omen he was dogging him so much so that moro breaks him arm trying to punch him and whis stated "when ultra instinct is honed to this state the body will grow studier as necessary," yes thats right arguably by this time any attatcks that are phyiscal punches kicks etc arent even going to work on goku unless there way stronger than him or have mui aswell, then moro gains mui a version I might add that meerus had been honing even longer than goku's been honing his, yet the closet thing we seen to damage is moro making a duplicate of himself and catching goku off guard and kicking him causing him to go flying and moro then states are speed and strength are equal so since I have my Magic I have a leg up and then goku says oh yea then try harder than proceeds to win and goku dosent seemed fazed the whole time he fought then moro fuses with the earth and possibly drains goku energy and goku still hasn't took any phyiscal damage yet he forced to fight moro from all direction soley relying on defense bc whis stated whatever he did to moro he does to the earth then goku learn the truth and goku goes for a punch and gets complety drained then damaged out of mui only times he took phyiscal damage was out of mui so even if you wanted to say that moros mui got countered which if it did barely and through purely draining his energy by the time gokus done fighting moro and fighting whis in the new chapter his mui is just that much stronger now, regardless the only hack that meli has that can even affect goku is hellblaze which is questionable at best bc we see in the broly movie new feats like them surving in lava hell blaze is hotter than regular fire thats about all we really know that doesn't quantify how much hotter it can litterally be just twice as hot also you brought up will goku beable to dodge a pillar of darkness unfortunate for you you said magic equals ki and in dragon ball they out run their own ki attatcks all the time like vs kid buu when he blew up the planet they were flying just avoiding it or goku out racing a stronger frieza ki blast on namek in dragon ball they've shown to do this, also if you remember moro attacked goku with the earths energy or whatever and and it was similar meliodas biggest weakness is his hearts gokus one instant kamehameha away from just destroying them all at once when he died it didn't even take much to hurt his hearts either just some swords gokus not going to run he's going to get close and he's not going care about being damaged also you can argue that random ki blast are more 🔥 than any heat based attack there pure energy and are stated to not just scorch but reducing things to atoms which is something normal flames or heat can't do also you can argue any attack even that meli has isnt going to be super effective bc of his susanoo, you say that meli hard counters goku in every aspect but thats not true goku's gone up against many opponets with a variety of abilities, also you didn't mention meliodas clones im guessing bc they split his power in half? Thank you for your comment! For the hakai thing, three things. One, I did equivocate all energy, so Hakai would still fall under another magical attack, so it could be full countered. Two, I don't think it would instantly destroy the sword. The Hakai has come in contact with physical matter before and not instantly destroyed it, such as the tournament of power stage in the anime. Three, while I do agree that if Goku lands it, he can win, he's never actually instantly erased someone of equal power before. He couldn't do it to Zamasu, when he was arguably stronger, and he doesn't even use the Hakai against Moro. It is a win condition, I agree, but not such an easy one. And this is under the pretense that he's one, willing to use it, which he's only done in the most desperate of situations, and two, that he's in range, and considering the fact that it is not an instantaneous process and can be interrupted, Goku has to hope that Meliodas just stands there and dies, which is a possibility but unlikely. In contrast though, Meliodas' soul stealing a technique like the Hakai which we know he has and is pretty much an instant win condition, it's just that. Instant. Meliodas either touches Goku and he's losing his soul, or Meliodas utters a couple word incantation and Goku's dead. It's a much easier process than the Hakai. For the MUI portion, this is an equal stats battle, meaning Goku's power growth is not allowed. It's why they're both starting in their most powerful states, they come in at peak and do not grow stronger. For Hellblaze being able to be resisted by Goku because he can resist lava, no. The Hellblaze is a flame that can kill immortals, something even the Hakai cannot do, it's not just some average fire that Goku can brush off, and while I agree, I don't think it will kill Goku instantaneously, its a fire that he cannot put out that is constantly burning away at him, dealing damage. And it spreads, so the longer Goku has it on him, it will likely choke him out once it finally covers his entire body. Goku does care about taking damage. It's why Ultra Instinct is great for him, because it typically allows him to dodge/avoid techniques, but with a lot of Meliodas' attacks being AOE, attacks that we've seen Goku's level of MUI struggles to dodge, I think he will take too much and lose. The Susanoo is a nice ability, however, Meliodas has his own massively effective defense and offense in Trillion Dark, which will hold off the Susanoo and force Goku to leave it, since we don't know if the Susanoo has access to any of Goku's techniques outside of grappling. I did mention the clones by the way, and it'd be bad for Goku because its five or more separate beings jumping Goku at once, exposing the issue MUI has with multiple angles. For the battle experience, I have to disagree. Meliodas did nothing but fight for the entirety of his early life, which based off Zeldris' age could be over 100 years, fought consistently in a war, and he did nothing but fight the Demon King, an extremely experienced combatant, for 60 years straight, which is even longer than Goku has been alive. And no offense to Goku, but he also spends a lot of time sleeping and eating. It's a big part of his character and his understanding of martial arts and the body. He doesn't spend all his time fighting, which Meliodas literally did for more than Goku's current age. For Goku's experience against weird fighters, you're right, but he never met or fought someone as strangely haxed out as Meliodas with the exceptions of Majin Buu, Hit, and Moro themselves. And even then, unless he out powered them, Goku could not defeat his more haxed out opponents. When Goku was equaled by Buu, he had to resort to the Spirit Bomb. When Hit was using Time Skip effectively, Goku needed to resort to out powering him and needed the ability explained to him. When fighting Moro, he needed to out power him. Goku is good at beating people when he is stronger than them and or they are not fighters. He does good against people like Frieza, who are pure power and nothing else.And Goku has never run into a person like Meliodas, who can light him on fire with an eternal dark flame, reflect all his attacks back at him with over twice the power, negate all Goku's attacks by simply holding his hand out, burst out in massive explosions of darkness dark eternal flame at a moments notice, or pop out four or more clones that all can attack him at the same time, pulling off the multiple angles issues MUI has again, or just soul steal with a couple words or a touch. Another thing I will admit I failed to mention in the video, is both of these characters are reluctant to kill unless forced to, so their deadlier techniques are rarer to use. So, Goku resorting to Hakai and Meliodas resorting to soul steal and not that likely as the two fight without them for the most part. At the end of all of this, let me restate, I don't think its impossible for Goku to win, I just think its unlikely.

The hakai can kill immortals just certain types thers like 8 types of immortality zamasu has a type that just infinitly regenerates his body which is different form type 5 where the user that has it can only be killed by existince erasure which goku could kill or type 1 where they can't die of old age my point with this is zamasu had the only type of immortality that could specifically counter a weaker hakai if meli tried to eat or destroy zamasu soul the same thing would happen to him and zamasu soul would just regenerate itself bc that the type he has its proably the most hard to comabat against thats why when anybody has this type in fiction the best bet is to try to seal them or the immortality itself 6. The energy equalization is interesting in many aspects bc I recall reading a comment you left earlier where you said all types of magic equal all types of ki meliodas only has demon magic while in this situation goku would have all types of magic bc goku has all types of ki obviously I'm not saying that gokus going to be using sds magic just his god ki would be like equal to goddess magic and his regualr ki would be equal to demon magic or vise versa it dosent really matter since goku has access to both and meli has access to one which brings me to the conclusion that goku has not only the ability to repel hell blaze but have an advantage over meli in the first place since he would be weak to a type of goku's ki and the reason to why gokus going to be able to repel hell blaze with ki is bc elizabeth repelled mael hell balze using goddess magic I cant remember which spell she used but I think it was arc which is just particles of light so the equivalent would be solar flare or some other attatck like that you should get my point one of gokus attatcks which ever it may be whether its a blast or solar flare this gives him the ability to repel hell blaze saying he couldn't when Elizabeth could is biased since you stated all types of ki equal all types of magic and goku would have his own equivalent either way it doesn't matter bc you also said they didn't want to kill each other and you said that hell blaze could proably kill goku which means after saying they dont want to kill each other off the back you listed all the attacks that meli uses to kill 7. The reason I bring meli experince into question is we know for a fact that at one point in time besides the dk and sd meliodas was considered to be one if not the top fighter in his verse while fighting people who we don't know the skill of from pretty much the get go even outclassing mael in the past although fighting alot or people most of them were massively weaker and theres no confirmation any no any type of martial arts bc its been shown repeatedly that they pefer waeapons 10. Meliodas healings gonna fail him you put wayyy to much trust in it when he fought escanor and he got a cut across the chest he passed out and his healing took hours leaving him vunerable, when he fought the commandments and he was tryna heal his arm they stopped him from healing and when he's healing he always leaves himself wide open to attacks also goku has fought people with healing like cell where if one cell was left he respawns however meliodas doesent have that luxury all goku needs is his seven hearts then he's done for so yea his healing is the thing that made it possible for him to lose both of thoses fights also hakai can doesent have to travel it can start from the point he wants it to also aganist escanor would be about as close to blood lusted as possible not to mention full counter can be stopped and the only reason jiren was able to match goku is bc he's a martial artist something meliodas is nearly as skilled as goku is in for example I may be as strong and as fast as mike tryson or mahhamid ali but they'll still beat my ass so close combat goku has the advantage by far and Meliodas main weakness all come from his strongest advantages which somebidy like goku would exploit
Here's the thing. I both agree and disagree with you on this. For Meliodas' healing, I agree, it was stopped by Escanor. However, remember, Escanor is able to negate demonic healing with his attacks. Melascula munched his soul and then literally was not able to heal. Same case happened with Meliodas. Goku cannot negate Meliodas' healing like Escanor can thanks his magic. For the commandment fight, Meliodas is not confident in his ability to defeat all the Commandments, so yes, he does just let himself take a lot of damage in order to use Revenge Counter. It's only in situations where he literally cannot heal (in the case of Escanor) or he is not confident in his winning chances (the Commandments) where his healing does not work. However, considering how easy it is for weaker Demons to regenerate quickly, from Galand to Zeldris, to non demons using darkness to regenerate at extreme rates in Estarossa and Meliodas' own healing feats such as casually reattaching his arms, I don't see Meliodas' healing failing him. How is Goku going to get to all seven hearts? How is he even going to know about them? I could see a Hakai, but considering it can very likely be Full Countered and that Goku does not have mastery over the technique, I doubt he'll be able to manipulate it as you say he could. And remember, both are in character here, and Goku rarely if ever uses the Hakai. How can Goku stop Full Counter? I could see him maybe dodging it, but stopping an attack with more than twice the power Goku put into it? I don't think that's a possibility. Meliodas is a martial artist too. He's also a master swordsman. With over 4000 years experience. While I can give Goku a leg up in bare hand to hand martial arts, as that's all Goku does, considering Meliodas wouldn't really be fighting Goku bare handed, I cannot give a solid advantage to Goku in terms of combat, especially since Meliodas has better experience. I don't know how Goku could exploit any of Meliodas' weaknesses, since Goku really has no knowledge of and only around one ability that he rarely uses to even exploit the heart weakness and otherwise cannot negate regeneration. I still think Meliodas' defensive capabilities in his darkness shields and Trillion Dark which he constantly uses would be too much for Goku to bypass.

And for Goku dodging Trillion Dark, he couldn't even dodge Planet Moro, despite Ultra Instinct. He couldn't perfectly dodge Jiren and Angel Moro, because they were relative. Goku does block in Ultra Instinct, he does not dodge everything. I think the hits they'll exchange will constantly last in Meliodas' favor while all of Goku's basic hits will be healed off and temporary with some exceptions. I think Goku can defend himself a bit with his Susanoo, but it's not an impervious defense in this equal context. It would be like Meliodas' own shields of darkness, which may help hold off Trillion Dark and Hellblaze spam for awhile, but not forever. And worse comes to worse, Meliodas just yanks Goku's soul or activates the Destroyer to get rid of the Susanoo. And Goku is not going to last 300 times, and depending on the situation, Meliodas can Full Counter pretty much everything Goku does as its all based around ki. And if Goku messes up, and fights Meliodas head to head, like he normally does, Goku dies from Hellblaze, area vaporization, soul ripping, and Trillion Dark. I'm not saying its impossible for Goku to win, it's just more likely for him to lose.

BRO I think you're missing the point. Sun/Sunshine does not activate by light. It activates by the position of a user relative to a star. If activated by light, there wouldn't be a night time Escanor, because there is always light at night via the moon and night star light. To your very point, while coated in darkness from Meliodas, Mael did not revert to a weaker state. When coated in Melascula's darkness, Escanor did not revert to a weaker state. While inside a sphere of pure darkness spawned from five commandments, Escanor did not revert to a weaker state. Why? Because Sun/Sunshine relies on the SUN a dwarf star, and where its located. That's why True Night is effective against Sun. Because it removes the Sun from the area, removes the star, which is the activation requirement. For Escanor activating it at night, it was a temporary instance that was a result of external meddling from Gowther, triggering a defense mechanism within Escanor that ending up tricking the Grace into activating for a couple seconds due to the "sun" in Escanor's world, and never happened again. He cannot do it willingly. The only time he managed to activate the affects of Sunshine willingly was by sacrificing his very life force to fuel the effects of the Grace when the Sun's position left its prime spot, not even using Sunshine itself, rather his own life to mimic its effects, and he died for it. The only other way he activated his Pride form while the Grace was shut down because of True Night, was through absorbing excess energy he released from Rhitta when the Grace was activated through the star's position. And even then, it didn't last, and he fell out of the form. That means a hypothetical "pocket of light" in the Celestial Realm wouldn't work by your own logic and the series explanation. It needs a star to function normally. What other holes do you have though? It's been awhile since I've had to discuss this, and with the movie dropping and there already being a moon in the Demon Realm, it looks like the meta is becoming less lore and more reality. And while there are already calcs that put characters weaker than Meliodas beyond that, I'm always happy to hear more!

The only thing I would disagree with is the full counter thing, full counter can only counter magic. Goku has no magic abilities so it would not work and that includes hakai. So if he does a instant hakai goku would no doubt erase him and be over (that is if goku goes straight for the kill)
Meliodas has Revenge Counter which doesn't actually rely on an an attack being magical. He can take a certain amount of damage and survive it because of his immortality curse and regeneration, and he can send the damage back at goku no matter what he hits him with
I know meliodas can full counter but not goku attacks here's why in sds when someone attacks meliodas and he counter that attack is made of magic energy is included but magic and goku don't use magic but only energy which is life or natural energy not magic so meliodas can't counter that back.Also full counter is a magic defence technique you can think about it.

Fuse with who? Even with Ultra Instinct, its shown once you rival a lesser user of it in power, like Goku, they cannot dodge everything, even in combination with Instant Transmission as shown with both Jiren and Moro, making Full Counter still viable, especially used close range.

In the end Goku should win because of ultra instinct. Off-course he would have equal stats to ultra instinct Goku but he should not have the self movement. So they have equal reactions but goku can use the full extent or near full extent of his reactions. Melidos can't and similar with attack. So Goku should win
No, UI is far from perfect and Goku has no answer to a multitude of Meliodas' abilities. He can't deal with Trillion Dark, soul stealing, Hellblaze, or Full Counter.

Goku has a energy shield. That's how Goku could protect himself meliodas attacks. Goku has a move that he used against Broly God Bind. So all Goku would have to do is Bind meliodas with God Bind so meliodas won't be able to go anywhere or move. Then Goku using Ultra instinct at full power unleashing a massive kamehameha on meliodas vaporizing him from existence. This would work because Gohan did a Father and Son KameHameha and vaporized cell. That's how goku wins.
When did Goku learn an energy barrier? I know he has the Kiai, but not a 17 style energy shield. The God Bind could work, if he lands it, and even when he lands it, he has to hold it. He hasn't ever comboed into it outside anything other than a quick punch. Gohan instantly erased Cell because he was stronger than him, not equal. And its not like Meliodas couldn't shield himself from it with darkness.

In the Tournament of Power, Goku and Vegeta use a skin tight variant of the energy shield which allows them to take hits from Lavender's poison fists without being poisoned and attack him at the same time. Then Goku mentally was helping Gohan push through Cell's Kamehameha attack. Before Goku helped Gohan win. Gohan before hand was mentally broken right there and Gohan was saying to himself that he could not win the earth is doomed and he was willing to let the earth be destroyed by Cell he didn't do anything to stop Cell until Goku talked to Gohan about not giving up. Gohan did not win against Cell by himself. if Goku and Vegeta was not there or the Z Fighters were not they're help Gohan at the end Gohan would have died. That's why I specified I would be equalizing magic and ki early in the video, and in the end, I'll admit, when I unequalized resources, I still mentioned Full Counter, so that would be out of the window. However, Meliodas still has all his other great defensive and offensive options like the Destroyer and Trillion Dark.

My apologies for not stating it clearly in the video, but this is an equal stats battle. Meaning they start in their strongest forms. So multipliers from transformations and power amps do not matter. When did he do that? He flew over lava, but I don't remember him breathing in lava. Regardless of that, Hellblaze isn't just regular fire and doesn't scale to regular fire or magma. It scales to the power of the user but has fire like properties, such as the burning.

I understand you. This video served two functions. One was to explain the obvious, that Meliodas had no chance normally, and two to do equal stats. I was considering putting the equal stats in the title, but I didn’t want to complicate it.
I mean, who would still have to hit the Mafuuba, after leaving to go get it. Meliodas could seal Goku without any external means. And the Mafuuba can be resisted and redirected, so it’s not a free win. Though if given all that time and enough luck, it’s a win condition.
A demon’s regeneration isn’t trustworthy In this scenario, Goku if he sees Meliodas can regenerate, able to use a technique like full counter, he won’t let Meliodas regenerate twice, he’ll switch from defence to offence, and it’s basically Goku W in the bag, Goku literally has to make Meliodas be overwhelmed by ultra instincts Offensive capablites in order to win and Meliodas hasn’t really shown good feats when it comes trying to recover being overwhelmed and not being to do anything
I'm not sure Goku can do that though, as he's still one dude with a rather linear attack pattern who will be fighting against seven people at once, all with the ability to counter his attacks, and the moment he starts to pressure Mel, he's getting revenge countered to the face. Snd Goku at least in the anime has taken a Hakai in base form without being erased for a few seconds and this Goku your using is much stronger then that… Meliodas whether or not he uses Hellblaze, he can’t hope to counter Hakai with Hellblaze, that’s something he’d have to dodge or full counter, that’s even if he can full counter such a attack without erasing lostyvane ( cause he needs a weapon to actually use full counter) if he hasn’t been hit by it point blank. But overall yeah, in quite a few ways, Meliodas with equal stats to Goku, can have a few ways to win… Trillion dark however can be hakaied no technique is absolute… not even Meliodas’s… Goku can find weakness In Meliodas’s techniques and exploit them.

If he used the closer range hakai it would completely erase meliodas and he can’t sense it because he doesn’t have god ki
And goku can resist meliodas’s attacks for a FEWA Seconds giving him time to erase meliodas.
But he’s not blood thirsty unless it’s a death battle goku loses because he has killing attacks using techniques and ability’s at the same time killing meliodas like getting far away, using his literal ‘shadow’ clones (moving at super speed to make it look like there are multiple clones) and uses a kamehameha at all distances, then closing in on meliodas and making meliodas unable to full counter, and if meliodas uses his dangerous attacks, like the darkness ir any other Big AOE attack goku would resist for a few seconds.

Lore meta in combination with upscaling. However, lore meta does lack a specific time frame, so one can just upscale from calcs for characters like Tarmiel which put him at Large Planetary and go up from there with Demon mark and Assault Mode scaling and multipliers, plus purgatory amps. I do plan to get into more depth in the future though, don't worry.

Equal stats is if both have the same power, speed, and durability. Unequal stats is if both of them have no limitations.
Unequalized, Meliodas dies instantly. Goku is way too fast and strong. Equalized, it becomes much closer but I give Meliodas the edge due to his abilities.

I think her magic comes in the form of fuel, just like Merlin. And I think the lake is actually just "the most magically enriched spot" in Britannia, rather than having actual infinite power. It's why Merlin needed the power from the Seven Deadly Sins combo attack which was stored in the lake to forcefully awaken Arthur has the King of Chaos, rather than just the lake itself.

I doubt that. We've seen Goku used a failed, slow version of the Hakai that doesn't even work properly and takes time to be built up, and can be acted against. It could work, and he could do it, I just think its unlikely.

Luffy can likely be close to Meliodas’ speed in Snakeman, and with observation haki he will dodge most attacks. But Meliodas doesn’t need a sword, he was able to inflict over 100 sword cuts with his sword in under a second, and break a mountain with a twig. Luffy has no answer to the sheer force behind these cuts. The impact would be nullified, Full Counter is useless as punches are not magical in nature.
Meliodas wins with high difficulty without a weapon, Meliodas wins with low difficulty with his sword.

Goku ultra instinct allows him to activate ki attacks remotely right next to meliodas like he did with jiren when he snapped his fingers so he can still do damage while keeping distance but at equal stats meliodas may just dodge or counter it.
Also meliodas said that demons can heal but unless you're immortal the damage still stays and weakens you just like when Hendrickson was becoming incapacitated and ripping open after taking so much damage even though his wounds had previously healed. If goku had a few senzu beans then he could heal all the damage unless he has like a hole in him or missing limb but meliodas would just keep accumulating it. Of course then the revenge counter may prove problematic for goku.

And while that is true, remember, even an impure lesser Demon like Hendrickson was regenerating from insane levels of damage repeatedly before tiring out. A supreme level Demon like Meliodas would have a much higher time limit before wearing out. And to be fair, I didn't really think of including Senzu beans on Goku, but I gave meliodas his sword, so I guess Senzus should have been factored in. And Revenge Counter would be bad if it hit.

This was a pretty good video but you left some stuff out I would first like to say MUI is not a transformation so saying that being close in power cancels it out is wrong it would be more like let’s say you put Jiren up against base Goku so you would need to vastly surpass Goku’s power if we’re doing anime, also Goku has regenerative power seeing as he brought him self back to life in his second fight with hit and regenerated his heart whilst fighting beerus, lastly I don’t believe Meliodas could regenerate seeing as if he can bring back cells it wouldn’t work because it has been stated and shown many times that he could destroy atoms even without hakai but besides this good video but to be fair my second point wouldn’t count since ur doing manga Goku because he’s never done this in the manga
Well, MUI is a transformation, one that he gets stronger in, which is why he suddenly overpowers Jiren. There wasn't really a massive power gap between the two. And Goku has very minor healing of himself that he needs time to do, he's never healed himself mid fight. And when has Goku destroyed atoms? Thank you though!

I was going to do Zeldris against someone else, but I think it's even worse for Goku because due to the Demon King's Power and Ominous Nebula, Goku can actually do nothing.

Goku can sense malice. Has shown precognition. He has his ki sensing. He can locate someone by feeling vibrations in the air. Coupled that with his analytical prediction and him having ui along with being able to use IT and meliodas isn't touching him with anything. And even if he could, ui automatically makes goku's body as sturdier as necessary. It protects his vitals. And he can shift his vitals.
Goku's beams and ki blasts have massive aoe so meliodas wouldn't be able to survive a ki blast bombardment or any beam launched at or near him. He wouldn't be able to react to a warp kamehameha. Or a warp hakai which is something goku did to zamasu. Kienzen is a deal ender too. Goku can't also be sensed when in ui. When he evades or attacks. His shockwaves alone have massive aoe as shown against beerus.
The problem here is none of Goku's moves are magic full counter wouldn't work on natural energy at least I haven't seen so in the series where everyone is based in magic power. Hakai it's over. Kamehameha it's over and if he decided to use the Genki Dama meliodas uses mostly evil energy which the Genki Dama destroys idk even with the stats even I still don't think it goes in the favor of Meliodas
I did specify that energies are equalized for one, so I don't think every attack Goku does is just going to land, and while I don't think its impossible for Goku to win, especially with Hakai, I doubt he would be able to to make a Genki Dama for one, and I still think it goes toward Meliodas since a lot of Goku's more dangerous techniques either take time (Genki Dama) or he normally doesn't use in character (Hakai). I lean toward Meliodas because he seems like a hard counter equal stats, since Ultra Instinct has problems dodging AOEs and multiple angles, and when equalized out is very vulnerable to being matched up.

What it really comes down to is if goku can destroy all seven hearts Hakai handled zamasu healing who was immortal and I still think that even with verse equalization that meli couldn't handle hakai i know status promition is similar but you gotta admit the hakai is on a different level and when he's in his susanoo form magic doesn't affect him shown when moro was using absorption magic and goku's energy stopped being drained while he was being still and the only way to counter it before was with speed and so if he's in susanoo alot of meli attacks wouldn't matter also goku can use god bind where he can paralyze people Temporarily so that gives him free time to kamahamaha to melis hearts also only people with go ki can sense goku's energy especially if were doing verse equalization if he just has basic ki/magic I dont see him sense the godly ki which is different also goku does have minor regen ability while in ssg using god ki if you remember also again if goku goes in susanoo most attacks arent working regardless if its magic or not and even if they do he's taking minor damage then after that he can use god bind in him to paralyze him and then hakai him while he's incapacitated its the perfect blood lusted plan god bind is dangerous it even stopped broly and Moro so theres no reason its not working on meli then hakai does its thing
Forgot to mention the problem with full counter and melies other attacks is db characters redirect their own energy all the time even after it leaves their grasp they can still manipulate it or since its still ki they can just swat it away as long as its equalized goku can smack down or redirect the average attack and also the can make ki barriers and as we recently learned goku can haki pretty much anything living or non living shown in when he used it on rocks and weve seen beerus use it own whole planets and if I remeber it has been shown to erase ki before with frieza so arguably blood lusted goku can haki any attack thats coming at him sorta just erase it so he could proably hakai purgatory fire out of existence or anu attack

1. It doesn't matter that Hakai is on a different level normally. The stats are equalized, at the moment, the Hakai is just a different ki attack that can get Full Countered like the rest of them.
2. The reason Goku wasn't getting his ki drained wasn't because the Susanoo provided any magic resistance, it's just that Goku was no longer touching Planet Moro, which was a requirement for the magic to activate. Allso, the Susanoo, like Goku, is not indestructible, though it could take damage for Goku.
3. The God Bind is also a technique I did forget to mention, I'll give Goku that. However, considering Meliodas would be on equal standing with Goku, the paralysis would not last that long, and the likelihood of a single Kamehameha vaporizing Meliodas when the playing field is equalized, is extremely unlikely. I could see it doing extreme damage, but considering Meliodas' healing capabilities and the likelihood of clones being out, I see this being a technique that will have to be repeated. However, this is another win condition, I'll give you that.
4. Remember, the God Bind works well on people weaker than Goku. Like Moro and Broly. We haven't seen it used on an equal, such as when Broly matched Goku or when Moro matched Goku. Why? Likely because its not as effective. I'm not saying it would be a useless technique, I just don't think it'd be as perfect combination as you think it would be. If it was, it would be used as such.
5. The Hakai is a win condition as well, it's just one that Goku never really uses in character. He used it once, against Zamasu when extremely desperate as a last resort. He didn't even use it against Moro, when it should have been on the first forefront of his mind once Moro became an equal to him. Though I'll give that one though, as if a God Bind is able to hold Meliodas still for long enough, then a Hakai could do it's job.
6. Same thing as before. Goku isn't a God of Destruction, he doesn't Hakai anything and everything, and the Hakai still has limits. I don't see Goku Hakaing anything twice the power he has being launched right back at him, as it's beyond his limits. For a bloodlusted Goku, he then needed to deal with a bloodlusted Meliodas, so it comes down to a who can erase who first scenario, since both beings have the capability to do so. Then its a 50/50 shot.

Even if Goku has all his powers at full and meliodas the same , meliodas wins he could just duplicate himself then he will be in his true magic form on all clones that means his power will rise up the more magic he uses and he could use trillion dark for all his clones and revenge counter if his clones are at the verge of death so he won't waste his clones (more in my moments)

Yea, no gokus hakai isnt just some ordinary ki attack or even invisble wave of energy its existence erasure while meliodas is just soul manipulation the end result similar but theres a big differnece goku's hakai can erase all types of matter and energy and soul hence why the body dissapears while its happening compared to meli soul manipulation where he only attatcks the soul, existence erasure is massively more potent and stronger than regular soul manipulation so much so that its considered a sub category of existence erasure in no way is comparable if two character's were to go against each other regardless of durability and strength differences if one had soul manipulation and one had existence erasure the one with existence erasure would win 100% of the time you don't have to take my word for it you can go to any wiki and they'll confirm this if meliodas tried to full counter hakai it most likely would just end up erasing his sword aswell

For the hakai thing, three things. One, I did equivocate all energy, so Hakai would still fall under another magical attack, so it could be full countered. Two, I don't think it would instantly destroy the sword. The Hakai has come in contact with physical matter before and not instantly destroyed it, such as the tournament of power stage in the anime. Three, while I do agree that if Goku lands it, he can win, he's never actually instantly erased someone of equal power before. He couldn't do it to Zamasu, when he was arguably stronger, and he doesn't even use the Hakai against Moro. It is a win condition, I agree, but not such an easy one. And this is under the pretense that he's one, willing to use it, which he's only done in the most desperate of situations, and two, that he's in range, and considering the fact that it is not an instantaneous process and can be interrupted, Goku has to hope that Meliodas just stands there and dies, which is a possibility but unlikely. In contrast though, Meliodas' soul stealing a technique like the Hakai which we know he has and is pretty much an instant win condition, it's just that. Instant. Meliodas either touches Goku and he's losing his soul, or Meliodas utters a couple word incantation and Goku's dead. It's a much easier process than the Hakai.
For the MUI portion, this is an equal stats battle, meaning Goku's power growth is not allowed. It's why they're both starting in their most powerful states, they come in at peak and do not grow stronger.
For Hellblaze being able to be resisted by Goku because he can resist lava, no. The Hellblaze is a flame that can kill immortals, something even the Hakai cannot do, it's not just some average fire that Goku can brush off, and while I agree, I don't think it will kill Goku instantaneously, its a fire that he cannot put out that is constantly burning away at him, dealing damage. And it spreads, so the longer Goku has it on him, it will likely choke him out once it finally covers his entire body.
Goku does care about taking damage. It's why Ultra Instinct is great for him, because it typically allows him to dodge/avoid techniques, but with a lot of Meliodas' attacks being AOE, attacks that we've seen Goku's level of MUI struggles to dodge, I think he will take too much and lose.
The Susanoo is a nice ability, however, Meliodas has his own massively effective defense and offense in Trillion Dark, which will hold off the Susanoo and force Goku to leave it, since we don't know if the Susanoo has access to any of Goku's techniques outside of grappling.
I did mention the clones by the way, and it'd be bad for Goku because its five or more separate beings jumping Goku at once, exposing the issue MUI has with multiple angles.
For the battle experience, I have to disagree. Meliodas did nothing but fight for the entirety of his early life, which based off Zeldris' age could be over 100 years, fought consistently in a war, and he did nothing but fight the Demon King, an extremely experienced combatant, for 60 years straight, which is even longer than Goku has been alive. And no offense to Goku, but he also spends a lot of time sleeping and eating. It's a big part of his character and his understanding of martial arts and the body. He doesn't spend all his time fighting, which Meliodas literally did for more than Goku's current age.
For Goku's experience against weird fighters, you're right, but he never met or fought someone as strangely haxed out as Meliodas with the exceptions of Majin Buu, Hit, and Moro themselves. And even then, unless he out powered them, Goku could not defeat his more haxed out opponents. When Goku was equaled by Buu, he had to resort to the Spirit Bomb. When Hit was using Time Skip effectively, Goku needed to resort to out powering him and needed the ability explained to him. When fighting Moro, he needed to out power him. Goku is good at beating people when he is stronger than them and or they are not fighters. He does good against people like Frieza, who are pure power and nothing else.And Goku has never run into a person like Meliodas, who can light him on fire with an eternal dark flame, reflect all his attacks back at him with over twice the power, negate all Goku's attacks by simply holding his hand out, burst out in massive explosions of darkness dark eternal flame at a moments notice, or pop out four or more clones that all can attack him at the same time, pulling off the multiple angles issues MUI has again, or just soul steal with a couple words or a touch.
Another thing I will admit I failed to mention in the video, is both of these characters are reluctant to kill unless forced to, so their deadlier techniques are rarer to use. So, Goku resorting to Hakai and Meliodas resorting to soul steal and not that likely as the two fight without them for the most part.
At the end of all of this, let me restate, I don't think its impossible for Goku to win, I just think its unlikely.

The hakai can kill immortals just certain types thers like 8 types of immortality zamasu has a type that just infinitly regenerates his body which is different form type 5 where the user that has it can only be killed by existince erasure which goku could kill or type 1 where they can't die of old age my point with this is zamasu had the only type of immortality that could specifically counter a weaker hakai if meli tried to eat or destroy zamasu soul the same thing would happen to him and zamasu soul would just regenerate itself bc that the type he has its proably the most hard to comabat against thats why when anybody has this type in fiction the best bet is to try to seal them or the immortality itself 6. The reason I bring meli experince into question is we know for a fact that at one point in time besides the dk and sd meliodas was considered to be one if not the top fighter in his verse while fighting people who we don't know the skill of from pretty much the get go even outclassing mael in the past although fighting alot or people most of them were massively weaker and theres no confirmation any no any type of martial arts bc its been shown repeatedly that they pefer waeapons 10. If theres anything you take form this its that mui was stated to make his body sturdier and so he would beable to take many if not all exterior/ phyiscall attacks and that goku would have both goddess and demon type magic which means thay certain types of ki would automatically make meli weak against goku, gokus fought quality battles with for sure skilled martial artist while in sds they depend more on weapons not hands so there fist fighting is questionable and that in this battle you said that they perfer not to kill unless pushed so assuming that half of the attacks meli has is out the window

Meliodas healings gonna fail him you put wayyy to much trust in it when he fought escanor and he got a cut across the chest he passed out and his healing took hours leaving him vunerable, when he fought the commandments and he was tryna heal his arm they stopped him from healing and when he's healing he always leaves himself wide open to attacks also goku has fought people with healing like cell where if one cell was left he respawns however meliodas doesent have that luxury all goku needs is his seven hearts then he's done for so yea his healing is the thing that made it possible for him to lose both of thoses fights also hakai can doesent have to travel it can start from the point he wants it to also aganist escanor would be about as close to blood lusted as possible not to mention full counter can be stopped and the only reason jiren was able to match goku is bc he's a martial artist something meliodas is nearly as skilled as goku is in for example I may be as strong and as fast as mike tryson or mahhamid ali but they'll still beat my ass so close combat goku has the advantage by far and Meliodas main weakness all come from his strongest advantages which somebidy like goku would exploit

Here's the thing. I both agree and disagree with you on this. For Meliodas' healing, I agree, it was stopped by Escanor. However, remember, Escanor is able to negate demonic healing with his attacks. Melascula munched his soul and then literally was not able to heal. Same case happened with Meliodas. Goku cannot negate Meliodas' healing like Escanor can thanks his magic. For the commandment fight, Meliodas is not confident in his ability to defeat all the Commandments, so yes, he does just let himself take a lot of damage in order to use Revenge Counter. It's only in situations where he literally cannot heal (in the case of Escanor) or he is not confident in his winning chances (the Commandments) where his healing does not work. However, considering how easy it is for weaker Demons to regenerate quickly, from Galand to Zeldris, to non demons using darkness to regenerate at extreme rates in Estarossa and Meliodas' own healing feats such as casually reattaching his arms, I don't see Meliodas' healing failing him.
How is Goku going to get to all seven hearts? How is he even going to know about them? I could see a Hakai, but considering it can very likely be Full Countered and that Goku does not have mastery over the technique, I doubt he'll be able to manipulate it as you say he could. And remember, both are in character here, and Goku rarely if ever uses the Hakai.
How can Goku stop Full Counter? I could see him maybe dodging it, but stopping an attack with more than twice the power Goku put into it? I don't think that's a possibility.
Meliodas is a martial artist too. He's also a master swordsman. With over 4000 years experience. While I can give Goku a leg up in bare hand to hand martial arts, as that's all Goku does, considering Meliodas wouldn't really be fighting Goku bare handed, I cannot give a solid advantage to Goku in terms of combat, especially since Meliodas has better experience.
I don't know how Goku could exploit any of Meliodas' weaknesses, since Goku really has no knowledge of and only around one ability that he rarely uses to even exploit the heart weakness and otherwise cannot negate regeneration. I still think Meliodas' defensive capabilities in his darkness shields and Trillion Dark which he constantly uses would be too much for Goku to bypass.
@That Guy With A Pencil goku will land an attack especially equal stats he landed hits against moro and majin buu and jiren then if I remember you said you want ki to equal magic and vice versa which if you think about it gives goku an edge in detection now he gonna be able to sense every attack and be able to dodge and altho trillion dark is powerful he can still figure a way around wether its susanoo and increasing his defensive abilities that way they have no affect or any other way he decides and he can use attacks like god bind and paralyze meliodas and yes meliodas full counter is strong however he's eventually going to land a attack whether it takes 300 tries or not meliodas won't be able to full counter everything

And for Goku dodging Trillion Dark, he couldn't even dodge Planet Moro, despite Ultra Instinct. He couldn't perfectly dodge Jiren and Angel Moro, because they were relative. Goku does block in Ultra Instinct, he does not dodge everything. I think the hits they'll exchange will constantly last in Meliodas' favor while all of Goku's basic hits will be healed off and temporary with some exceptions. I think Goku can defend himself a bit with his Susanoo, but it's not an impervious defense in this equal context. It would be like Meliodas' own shields of darkness, which may help hold off Trillion Dark and Hellblaze spam for awhile, but not forever. And worse comes to worse, Meliodas just yanks Goku's soul or activates the Destroyer to get rid of the Susanoo. And Goku is not going to last 300 times, and depending on the situation, Meliodas can Full Counter pretty much everything Goku does as its all based around ki. And if Goku messes up, and fights Meliodas head to head, like he normally does, Goku dies from Hellblaze, area vaporization, soul ripping, and Trillion Dark. I'm not saying its impossible for Goku to win, it's just more likely for him to lose.

Before you say there is light in the goddess realm well for one in fiction it's common for there to be pockets of light in different places or dimensions so since we never saw a star we must only assume that there was just a pocket of light inside the goddess realm, oh and before you say wait manle use sunshine when he was leaving the goddess realm, well we seen escanor use sunshine at night and we see manle use sunshine when meliodas covers him in the darkness, so the star meta has way to many holes to be valid, but I calulated meliodas being 2 times planet lvl, plz ask me any questions about my calulations if u have any,
BRO I think you're missing the point. Sun/Sunshine does not activate by light. It activates by the position of a user relative to a star. If activated by light, there wouldn't be a night time Escanor, because there is always light at night via the moon and night star light. To your very point, while coated in darkness from Meliodas, Mael did not revert to a weaker state. When coated in Melascula's darkness, Escanor did not revert to a weaker state. While inside a sphere of pure darkness spawned from five commandments, Escanor did not revert to a weaker state. Why? Because Sun/Sunshine relies on the SUN a dwarf star, and where its located. That's why True Night is effective against Sun. Because it removes the Sun from the area, removes the star, which is the activation requirement. For Escanor activating it at night, it was a temporary instance that was a result of external meddling from Gowther, triggering a defense mechanism within Escanor that ending up tricking the Grace into activating for a couple seconds due to the "sun" in Escanor's world, and never happened again. He cannot do it willingly. The only time he managed to activate the affects of Sunshine willingly was by sacrificing his very life force to fuel the effects of the Grace when the Sun's position left its prime spot, not even using Sunshine itself, rather his own life to mimic its effects, and he died for it. The only other way he activated his Pride form while the Grace was shut down because of True Night, was through absorbing excess energy he released from Rhitta when the Grace was activated through the star's position. And even then, it didn't last, and he fell out of the form. That means a hypothetical "pocket of light" in the Celestial Realm wouldn't work by your own logic and the series explanation. It needs a star to function normally. What other holes do you have though? It's been awhile since I've had to discuss this, and with the movie dropping and there already being a moon in the Demon Realm, it looks like the meta is becoming less lore and more reality.
And while there are already calcs that put characters weaker than Meliodas beyond that, I'm always happy to hear more!

The only thing I would disagree with is the full counter thing, full counter can only counter magic. Goku has no magic abilities so it would not work and that includes hakai. So if he does a instant hakai goku would no doubt erase him and be over (that is if goku goes straight for the kill)

Meliodas has Revenge Counter which doesn't actually rely on an an attack being magical. He can take a certain amount of damage and survive it because of his immortality curse and regeneration, and he can send the damage back at goku no matter what he hits him with

I haven't seen this but I'll guess that he made meliodas win. But the one who should win is Goku. Equal strength speed durability endurance etc. They have their own arsenal and techniques. In the end Goku should win because of ultra instinct. Off-course he would have equal stats to ultra instinct Goku but he should not have the self movement. So they have equal reactions but goku can use the full extent or near full extent of his reactions. Melidos can't and similar with attack. So Goku should win
No, UI is far from perfect and Goku has no answer to a multitude of Meliodas' abilities. He can't deal with Trillion Dark, soul stealing, Hellblaze, or Full Counter.

Goku has a energy shield. That's how Goku could protect himself meliodas attacks. Goku has a move that he used against Broly God Bind. So all Goku would have to do is Bind meliodas with God Bind so meliodas won't be able to go anywhere or move. Then Goku using Ultra instinct at full power unleashing a massive kamehameha on meliodas vaporizing him from existence. This would work because Gohan did a Father and Son KameHameha and vaporized cell. That's how goku wins.
When did Goku learn an energy barrier? I know he has the Kiai, but not a 17 style energy shield. The God Bind could work, if he lands it, and even when he lands it, he has to hold it. He hasn't ever comboed into it outside anything other than a quick punch. Gohan instantly erased Cell because he was stronger than him, not equal. And its not like Meliodas couldn't shield himself from it with darkness.

In the Tournament of Power, Goku and Vegeta use a skin tight variant of the energy shield which allows them to take hits from Lavender's poison fists without being poisoned and attack him at the same time. That's the barrier. Now your saying that Goku can't combo after God Bind that makes no sense. Goku he's a martial artist and he will do anything to win a fight if he had to.

Now Cell was stronger than Gohan because when Gohan went to save Vegeta when Cell threw that energy attack at Vegeta. Gohan took the blow and his arm got missed up. If Gohan was still stronger than Cell then Gohan would have not got damaged from Cell's attack. Lastly Gohan had some major support from Vegeta hitting Cell from behind distracting Cell. Then Goku mentally was helping Gohan push through Cell's Kamehameha attack. Before Goku helped Gohan win. Gohan before hand was mentally broken right there and Gohan was saying to himself that he could not win the earth is doomed and he was willing to let the earth be destroyed by Cell he didn't do anything to stop Cell until Goku talked to Gohan about not giving up. Gohan did not win against Cell by himself. if Goku and Vegeta was not there or the Z Fighters were not they're help Gohan at the end Gohan would have died. There are lots of ways that Goku could beat and kill Meliodas like Goku using Hakai to destroy him Meliodas. Meliodas darkens would get destroyed alongside his Meliodas's body. That's why I specified I would be equalizing magic and ki early in the video, and in the end, I'll admit, when I unequalized resources, I still mentioned Full Counter, so that would be out of the window. However, Meliodas still has all his other great defensive and offensive options like the Destroyer and Trillion Dark.

My apologies for not stating it clearly in the video, but this is an equal stats battle. Meaning they start in their strongest forms. So multipliers from transformations and power amps do not matter.
When did he do that? He flew over lava, but I don't remember him breathing in lava. Regardless of that, Hellblaze isn't just regular fire and doesn't scale to regular fire or magma. It scales to the power of the user but has fire like properties, such as the burning.

A demon’s regeneration isn’t trustworthy In this scenario, Goku if he sees Meliodas can regenerate, able to use a technique like full counter, he won’t let Meliodas regenerate twice, he’ll switch from defence to offence, and it’s basically Goku W in the bag, Goku literally has to make Meliodas be overwhelmed by ultra instincts Offensive capablites in order to win and Meliodas hasn’t really shown good feats when it comes trying to recover being overwhelmed and not being to do anything
I'm not sure Goku can do that though, as he's still one dude with a rather linear attack pattern who will be fighting against seven people at once, all with the ability to counter his attacks, and the moment he starts to pressure Mel, he's getting revenge countered to the face. I think Goku just isn't built for this matchup, as we've him struggle even in MUI when powers are equal.
