I appreciate your lake analysis. I fish on Lake Murray in South Carolina and would love to see you analyse it. It's such a huge lake and can be a little over whelming trying to figure out where to fish.

Fished Lanier many times! Great Lake!! The area in this clip was very shallow with tree piles laying 20-30 feet from the bank that we had to go around so it was thought to get close to the banks
Not very wide though that area on Roanoke side til you get closer to halesford bridge
Another good vid Mike....I'm almost done with getting my boat rigged out for stripers and can't wait to get out there. Thanks for the info...it helps a lot. It's been 15 years since I striper fished and I'm in central NC, thought about going to Badin and Lake Hickory (where I used to go for stripers) to get re-acclimated to the process and reading my electronics etc...... Smith and Kerr is a pretty good drive for a day trip, any other lakes in central NC you recommend besides Badin and Hickory that I could day trip?
Thanks brother. Jordan is a very interesting lake. It’s so different than any other lake with Stripers. It’s had its ups and downs over the years, they have a great little club that you might want to join. Several buddies of mine are in it and they do a nice job working with new members. If you decide to ever try it I can put you in touch with them. 👍

Where can I get one of the big charts that you have in the SML Chart Series?
I got that one at Captains Quarters a long time ago. Dewayne has them there. Amazon might have them too.

That’s an old chart I got from Dewayne’s at Captains Quarters in the early 2000’s. I like it for this video because the entire lake is on one side.
I got one from Dewayne the other day its got from s curves up on one side then Gills black water bull run craddock creek and the lower end on other side. Good map. Like 11 bucks.

Sorry, I don’t run charters anymore because I travel so much. I’m on a different body of water all the time. A great Charter Captain needs to master and stay on 1 or 2 bodies to deliver the trip of a lifetime every time.
