You can't blame people for making choices that benefit themselves: their budgets are tight, the information they have about the products they consume is limited, their education is inadequate, etc. You're putting the burden on the wrong people. You know who you can blame? The entity that oversees the entire chain of production. The entity who makes all the decisions about their product. The entity that fully understands what their product is, does, and how much it costs. The entity that unilaterally sets prices, that avoids regulations, that rips off or lies to consumers in a myriad of ways.

Wow I have to commend CNBC, Katie Tarasov, and team, for putting together a good interview with insightful questions that actually showed knowledge of NVIDIA’s history and the field of computing.
This interview gives you great insight into his attitude, personality and leadership in the industry. He’s truly phenomenal and I love the way he delivers answers. Slow and steady and structured.
2:10 He is rewriting history a bit. It started out as a graphics hardware company, with people spinning off of Silicon Graphics. Then, around 2007, people began using their GPUs for computing, despite a cumbersome software interface (API) for this purpose. NVIDIA saw the trend and turned in this direction.
Yeah, NVIDIA was a gaming hardware company and for years produced great affordable gaming GPUs that suprisingly worked for 3D pro work using Maya and Softimage while Real3D and Permedia were selling super pricey cards for that. The scientific/AI compute is relatively recent but it was pretty easy to see where that was going when NVIDIA introduced shaders. To be fair, BitBoys never-made-to-market Pyramid3D had computable pixel pipelines too.
I just toured NVIDIA HQ in Santa Clara, CA this past Thursday for work purposes. Absolutely beautiful building and they said the CEO made a lot of the design choices and had a distinct vision for how he wanted to look like and feel like.
yeah its true, he is not just some another CEO, jensen is a founder CEO driven by pure inner passion and love for his company and will go to any lengths to make sure that his company succeeds.
He was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States at the age of 9. We Taiwanese are proud of him. Nvidia and Esmer in the Netherlands were both unknown companies at the beginning. They decided not to create more GPUs, deliberately, as a choice - to artificially slow down supply, sell Ampere stock, and inculcate a new price floor on consumers for generations to come.
gaming GPUs will use chips that are rejected by AI/Deep Learning aka enterprise.
@@Mrfiufaufou It's literally the exact opposite.
@Steven S. You're attacking a point that no one made. No one said that you need a 4090. But everyone is correctly saying that GPU prices are too high. I don't "blame" Nvidia either, but you're blaming consumers.
Further, you're not willing to criticize the system when it allows corporations like Nvidia to gouge their costumers.
I saw Jensen in Hyderabad, India at the lunch table. It was such an honour to meet a Visionary Legend.
Most underrated CNBC video interview yet. Biased for sure, but visionary. 👍
Everyone is biased.
@@mjt1517 Read 'biased' as non-reflexive

Wow I have to commend CNBC, Katie Tarasov, and team, for putting together a good interview with insightful questions that actually showed knowledge of NVIDIA’s history and the field of computing.
This interview gives you great insight into his attitude, personality and leadership in the industry. He’s truly phenomenal and I love the way he delivers answers. Slow and steady and structured.
😊😊
Yeah nice speech.
Not to mention claiming Nvidia invented Ray Tracing lol
ppvw9ljl ?+
😮
Jensen's god complex has pitted himself against his customers. Note the withdrawal of EVGA which was a big Nvidia customer.

@@GregMoress why they still didn't become?😂
Taiwan being a free and democratic state helps
Taiwan is very close with America. Among the recent five Taiwan presidents, two went to Harvard, another two went to Cornell in the U.S.

It was hugely serendipitous that the maths needed for computer graphics (drawing pretty triangle) and the way the GPU could do that maths in parallel, aligned with the maths needed for neural networks (simply multiply and add but across). (edit - great to see Jensen acknowledge that )
Excellent interview. Stands out to many other interviews.
This was such a great interview! I loved the questions this interviewer asked. Can we next time please show respect and use her name in the title also CNBC? She needs to be credited as the interviewer/journanlist.
I still remember when i was scammed during the blockchain era, I swore to never invest in new technology. I unfortunately sold around 7 Bitcoin I had at the time. I won't do the same with AI. I've invested $5000 in AI stock and I'm already at $50,000. 10 freaking times the initial investment. this will change my life. let's go!
Blockchain is nothing compared to AI bubble right now. I'm definitely going all in
I'm 100% onboard with this fam. Although I don't have up to $5000 but I'll definitely hit you up with invest at least $1000. let's go
Really?. I thought hitting $20,000 with my initial $9000 investment was cool but this is amazing. I'll send you an email so you can get me started. Let's go!
I don't believe you made that much but I'll say I've made much more from AI than my Nfts. I will invest with $2000 and see how it goes. I won't say "let's go!" lol
although I feel it's more profitable to start an AI SAAS company but investing is also a great option especially if you don't want all the hassle of tech. I've also send you an email, I would love to get access to your portfolio
More quarters and outlooks from big tech names, powered by Nvidia (which has more chips than we thought!), as well as this trader FOMO, may lead to renewed buying strength in markets in September and October. I want to invest more than $300k, but I'm not sure on how to mitigate risk
Nvidia stock is roaring like many did during the 1990s bubble. But this time around, the hype around new chips is happening in a more mature demand environment.

Stiff interview imo
You can tell he didn't want to get into specifics to certain questions. I kinda understand that but it seems lame they ask and it's always avoided obviously
The knowledge he was telling you about the industry as a whole is good. If you have an idea, absolutely try to pursue it with AI and or buy using the A100
I wish she could have asked a few better questions or follow ups on supply chain management or the fact he said he would chase TSMC to the desert. This is very important especially when thinking about the future (not just for jobs)
Would have thought a more laid back interview would have been better. Sitting on those 'highchairs' just made it look awkward for me.
However, I appreciate the opportunity to listen to him talk. He definitely gives you a peek into computing and where he thinks
probably a few drinks would have helped immensely
stiff it was......I agree.
