As always you have me anxiously awaiting your new adventure. Loved it! You are the best to go on adventures with❤️Been with you from the beginning and you are just getting better and better.🥰
Some of my most memorable days in Bangkok was me just getting totally lost with no destination in mind. You will find the people are the most friendly people in the world as long as you have a smile and a friendly Sa-Wat-Dee-Krap. And don't worry about going into a "bad" neighborhoods as the people are even friendlier there. I just discovered your channel and looking forward to your Thailand adventured.
I just returned from my trip to Bangkok with my family and i had an amazing time. Your videos bring back so much fond memories. I love your content and video editing.
Holy Toledo my friend. That mall is incredible and makes some of the malls and shops in Vegas look like Walmarts haha. I could feel the stress building there at the end. Stay safe out there.
The market area reminds me of old photos of Baltimore from the early 1900s. The alley ways looked like this. Loved your necklace. Interesting place to walk around. 👍👍👍
wow i was there 2 days ago, took the hop on/off river cruise, went to the grand palace instead and icon siam on a separate day❤❤ miss bangkok already..
@@BarefootVlogger not really, but thanks for your concern. As I told you, I live here over 15 years and you do an excellent job in your videos giving people a taste of Bangkok. Continue to enjoy and have fun! Life truly is an adventure!
These style vlogs are like the modern version of street photography. And Bangkok is very suitable for that. There's a train from Icon Siam which connects with the BTS. I think i saw the station as you went outside.
I was with a thai girl there last month and we had the same problem finding the view area . I was there all December and going back in April. Live in Palm Beach County.
Good work on your videos! while you are over there you shoud get a ticket to Vung Tau ,Vietnam, located on the beach. The people are friendly and good food with decent prices!
It looks like the Bayside Market became the Gugahiem with Bloomdales. Mismi need 120 years to catch up with Bangkok,Thailand. I am waiting for an underground Subway in Glitida. I am looking that Brickell to turn to Times Square. You are a long way from Brighton Beach.
You take wrong boat...!! Just 8 Baht = Cross boat not going Icon Siam / but you take express boat (Orange Flag) 16 baht to icon Siam / I suggest take blue flag 😉 tourist boat 30 Baht beautiful view on roof top ...Never Lost
Scratch the surface after 5 days...dude give it years to scratch the surface...its like a giant onion and will take yeeears to start to understand this incredible city...however, I admire your enthusiasm bro.
I'm Thai and I love to watch foreiger explore our town and you did a grate job. However, I just want to warn you a little bit that, in Thailand, there is a law called PDPA, so I recommend you to ask for permission before filming. Most of us don't really mind to be filmed but if you just randomly pointing camera that us it can be a little uncomfortable, aspacialy on places where people don't really do filming like on a train( imagine going to work on BTS and you turn around and you just see a big american pointing a camera at you). Anyway, grate video.
Thanks for the information. My understanding of the law is that it is to protect citizens against personal identification, mostly to protect website users from unlawful gathering and use of their personal data. I certainly wouldn't identify anyone personally unless they consented to it. Thanks for the kind words
Great question Enn! It's an ode to the Barefoot Mailmen who used to walk 60 miles in Florida on the beach to deliver mail to the locals back in the late 1800's.
Wow that is so cool! Loved your videos. I'm heading to thailand tomorrow and was watching your videos to see what there to explore! Will try to make it to the VW like you did@@BarefootVlogger
You know why American Malls went downhill? We just don't care to go to them anymore. Can't explain it really. I went to Icon Siam last year, it looked amazing yeah, but I wouldn't go there day after day the way the locals there would go to. All the these developing countries building these Mega Malls because they never had them before and it's like what Americans used to do back in the 80s and would go there a few days a week almost as a status symbol. Give it 30-40 years, these malls may turn into Condos. =p
**Thailand has had escalators for more than 60 years.** Because Thailand has a hot climate. So Thais like to go to the mall. And shopping malls in Thailand include all activities including shopping, food courts, academic, music and sports schools, medical clinics, libraries, movie theaters, exhibitions, concerts, banks, post offices, government centers and more than you can imagine.
Thai peoples wear marks so long time since covid time so someone is still used to wearing them. And besides this is about preventing the air pollution.
When you talk with locals or even some staff, you may not aware of the language or how fast you speak. 😏 Don't get me wrong, just want to let you know that speak more slowly and clear. Thai is their mother tounge. 😘
As always you have me anxiously awaiting your new adventure. Loved it! You are the best to go on adventures with❤️Been with you from the beginning and you are just getting better and better.🥰
So glad to have you with me on these adventures Joanna, thanks for your kind words my friend

It's amazing on one end you have a mall like this, then I see a cable guy fixing lines while standing on a bamboo ladder. Only in Bangkok
The market area reminds me of old photos of Baltimore from the early 1900s. The alley ways looked like this. Loved your necklace. Interesting place to walk around. 👍👍👍

They spread out those escalators pretty far lol by the time you get to the top you've seen every store in the mall. Thanks Ken
Check out Thonburi Market Place . Amazing river prawns
snazzy looking shopping mall, the pier could use a makeover
Nice to see a different part of the world . Enjoying your boat ride in the mall and well there's lots to take in! Good work Barefoot! ❤😊
Thanks Allan that means a lot brother. 🙏
They were kind of renovating the lower floor food hall you are in, it will be back to having gondolas. You can see some measure there.
You should have gotten the coconut pancake. It's very delicious.
I regret not getting it.
Terry Thank you Stay Safe. 😊🙏
Thanks Colleen! 🙏
I was there earlier today. You missed the ground floor. I was shocked to see a huge food market downstairs. $150 unlimited boat ride was reasonable.
Lots of people
Old Thai people speek English very well than I think
I’m impressed how many Thais can understand and speak English now. Way to go😊
no. he was just lucky
Good work on your videos! while you are over there you shoud get a ticket to Vung Tau ,Vietnam, located on the beach. The people are friendly and good food with decent prices!
Thanks Jed. For Americans, the entry into Vietnam is a lot harder than Thailand, sadly. But stay tuned you never know

The flip side is they provide a lot of jobs, help the economy and are a good option for rainy days.
Thailand has had nothing like this 50 years ago. Educate yourself. They didn't even have escalators back then. Sheesh
