Jesus christ, who designed this pos i replaced the battery in one of these the transmission probably needs removed when changing the air filter
Please mention if this is for 2.4 L engines or for V6 engines? Thanks
For anyone wondering what engine this is, it’s the 3.5L V6. This is a 2009-2010 Journey. They were the only ones to come with the 3.5. The 3.6 is different from the 3.5s removal process.
I but a starter in the car starter up now I can't get it to turn off
Thank you so much, you made my job a whole lot easier!
Great video.. I was gonna have a shop do it, but I think I can manage doing it at home
i watched the clip and took my husband 4 hours to complete the work. he said it was tight in one area and after that it was smooth sailing putting back together
Great video but no plug on starter or ground wire on 3.6 engine and no spacer and only 2 bolts on starter with alignment pin. Maybe this is 2020 or 2.4 engine? Most like 2014 3.6 just have single wire to a spade and main power on 13mm. And no reason to remove O2. Thats just asking for trouble IMO. Whenever I remove an O2 sensor I do it on hot engine but im sure not all are difficult, just seen too may people mess them up. A sheared O2 sensor is not fun.
Great explanation and quality video
Thanks for the information
GOD BLESS YOU
👍🏻
Great video 👍
Did u have to move the exhaust I can’t get starter to fall
3.6L ? 2.4L . Kind of detail that would be important because totally different
Or a 3.5 09 10 had them
How come you don’t start by introducing yourself Lenny? What’s the difference with TRQ and 1aauto?
What is the approximate labor cost for this job?
Looks like a 3.6l v6
Merci beaucoup
Where are you located
It's crazy how many people are asking for the engine specs and buddy has yet to respond. To avoid this confusion, one would think you'd just state that in the introduction 🤦🏾♂️
I think he did it fast?
You made that look too easy lol😂😂😂good job
Removing the sensor seemed really unnecessary to me. I would’ve personally tried starting the car before I put it all back together completely. At least then if something was wrong you wouldn’t have to go back and take it all apart again. Other than that it was a good and informative video.
I'm not in love with the fact that it's all jumpcuts from spot to spot, I'm inexperienced at working on cars and this is very confusing
