    Places of Interest
    1. Herodian Stones
    2. Herod's Temple Mount expansion section
    3. Trumpeter's Cornerstone (House of the Trumpeter) The original is in the Israel Museum. This one is an exact replica.
The Jewish historian, Josephus, writes about this in his writings. Three blowing of the trumpet took place: (1) for the farmers to stop their work (2) for the shopkeepers to close down, and (3) for the Sabbath to officially begin (or other holy feasts).
    4. Shops
    5. Broken Pavement from the stones that fell during the Roman destruction in 70 AD
    6. Burnt layers in the Western Wall from the Roman destruction
    7. Isaiah Stone
Right under the arch, we can see the so-called "Isaiah Stone." It has a carved inscription in Hebrew with a partial quote or paraphrase of Isaiah 66:14. The carving says: "And them will see, and rejoice your heart, and your bones like grass shall flourish."
The verse they are quoting goes like this: When you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like grass; the hand of the Lord shall be known to His servants, and His indignation to His enemies.
The inscription has been dated to around 300 to 700 AD and tells us that the Jews at that time venerated the Temple Mount as the location of the temple. It's just another piece of evidence revealing the Temple Mount as the authentic place where the temple once stood.
    8. Pilgrim's Road (Herodian St.) led from the Pool of Siloam to the Southern Stairs and Robinson's Arch Stairway area.
    9. Southern Stairs
    10. Mikvehs by the Southern Stairs
    11. Royal Stoa - Large public meeting building on the south side of the Temple Mount just above the Southern Stairs.
    12. Southern Stairs entrance doors to the Temple Mount
    13. Crusader tower
    14. Original stairs

I was there at the Southern Stairs with my local church on pilgrimage tour in February 2023. I am always thankful to the Lord that I made it there in many other places in the Holy Land.

@@graceandglory1948 Because who you may consider is a lukewarm Christian may not be because God judges not on the outward appearance but the heart. So many Christians find it easy to judge others but only God knows the sheep from the goats.

Brothers and sisters, if you fall into the 81% who don't read the Bible, I urge you to change that. I understand that it can be intimidating but the Bible is alive and it's one of the main tools the Lord uses to speak to us. If you're interested in reading it and aren't sure where to start, maybe try starting with the Book of John. It's easy to read, it gives you a great look into the life of Christ and then you can go from there. Also, it's s good advice to pray before you read it, and ask the Lord to guide you. 😊 Thank you for the video, brother. I always love your faith lessons. God bless and keep you all ❤

I listen to the Bibel through a hear book app, because my eyes hurt many times, when I read.
I suggest to read at the same time as a book of the New or Old Testament, the Psalms. They express so much of our being "human" and so much of God's attributes .
When I'm lacking words and clear thoughts, I pray by reading them loud.

@@kathidori8504I have also found that listening is far better for me as although I can read I was never brought up with books & always have been a slow reader. Never read many books. I listen to God's Able where the Bible is read by David Suchett

We don't know who Jesus trained under and I have often wondered if Jesus and Paul knew each other from Rabbi training classes? (we know that Jesus was thought to be spiritually gifted by the Rabbis from his time in the Temple at age 12 in Jerusalem when he was lost to his parents for 3 days)... That would put a very interesting spin on Paul persecuting Christians and Jesus calling Paul out on the road to Demascus--Paul, Paul, Why are you persecuting me? (like, we were friends who studied together and now you have turned on me)...I just have this strong feeling that Paul and Jesus knew each other from earlier in Jesus' life...dts/usa

Paul was Educated by Gamliel, who is also noted in Jewish writings (Mishna), Jesus cousin John's father Zacheriah also worked in the Temple most likely allowing greater insight and knowledge of the inner workings of the temple and potential Access to Scrolls the general public may not have. Paul himself asks Jesus who he is when he is on the road to Damascus implying he did not recognize him or previously saw him, unlike Mary at the garden tomb post Resurrection recognized Jesus voice. Just some bible bits I happen to notice.

It isn't just about how much you read otherwise the Pharisees would have been right. It is what you do that matters. No matter how much you read if you do not live it out in practice to others especially the brethren you are nothing. You have to act out your Christian life by love, deeds which you do as you very much want to led by the power of the Holy Spirit that is within you.
