It’s like 30,000$ in California. Literally a new civic price, I could buy 2 new edge 5.0’s for the same price
Also, a earlier corvette is literally half the price
@@harry9828 some rare Holden commodores are selling for over $1m here in Australia
@@bashyamate2613 wow, I wonder how much they would cost to import out here
@@harry9828 too much
How a odyssey makes the sleeper list before a R/T charger or Chrysler 300
Bruh my mom has a 2016 Honda Odyssey 😂😂
yes the typoon is ok what is a lot lot lot and i do mean lot better is the 1990 syclone that will spank any typhoon it even spanked a ferrari in italy and i am not talking about the ferraris that are sold int he usa but those in italy in the quarter mile and the syclone was all stock from the factory too. so yes the typhoon is ok but the syclone is still better for its all so a 4 wheel drive too.
Damn in Europe we get the Buick Regal GS as a Opel Insignia OPC😂
NO ONE AND I REPEAT NO ONE slept on the typhoon or the syclone… EVER.
Unless they were just that stupid…
Those things were incredible!
Dear Ideal Cars thank you for tanking up the prices of these "Cheap" cars
Until some bogen wraps the commodore around a light pole at 2 am in the morning
Holden Commodore Guys the 1st sleeper built in Australia - one of and still is a icon cars along side the FPV that go hard
Best pick by far Mazdaspeed 6
Great tuner car to this day
03/04 Infiniti M45:
4.5L V8
340HP
RWD
TOP SPEED 155
Super fun sleeper 😎
I remember they called this the Muscle Car with a Brain.
1997-2004 Buick Regal GS. Old persons car. 3.8L supercharged. A few mods and you’re down to high 12’s which is pretty much very fast on the streets.
GMC Typhoon is NOT a sleeper. I’ve wanted one since 1993.
Chevy SS isn’t a sleeper. People know what that is too. The SHO kinda a sleeper.
I also remember the slogan for the Sy/Ty “0-60 in 4.6 seconds. Even in the rain”. And Buick Grand National “We brake for Corvettes”.
Craziest sleeper I ever saw was a pink Geo Storm. It had a 3.8 shoehorned in somehow.
My '13 lincoln mks ecoboost is the even more sleeper version of the SHO sleeper.
Sleeper cars that get slepttttt on 🔥 title
My grandparents have a Flex and it has really good pickup.
The Chevy SS is what Chevy called it. Tho Holden model of the SS is called a SV6 which here in Australia IS VERY POPULAR like you would see a few a day. But not like the Chevy SS which is a sleeper. Holden made a station wagon of the SV6 (just the looks are different) and they also made a Ute version of it. Ford tried to make but a little different. But I'm not going to talk about that since I'd need to do loads more of explaining.
How the fuck are you from Australia and got it so wrong? Chevy SS is the equivalent of the Aussie Holden Commodore SS, both with a V8 engine. The SV6 is just a sportier (with a V6 engine) version of the Commodore.
is there chevy SS in canada or they only in australia?
The best sleeper car is the Toyota Chaser. I got one imported a few years ago and absolutely love it
I remember those . Interesting little car.
Even better is the Toyota Blade Master G. Compact hot hatch based on Corolla, but with a 3.5L V6 2GR engine.
My best friend bought a srt4 when they first came out and no one knew what they were we went to the drag strip (1/8) and we gapped a cobra and a ss and everyone was so confused 😂
I had a 1960 Morris Major with a 283 Vet motor, 3 speed manual with 2 overdrives, Pontiac posi rear end, Buick finned rear drum brakes.
Black. tan leather interior. A true sleeper.
PS: Add to your list a Maserati BiTurbo, looks like a Corolla.
Also the 94-96 Impala SS was a stand out mean ass car in its day. Not a sleeper. But you get the Buick Roadmaster n Caddy Fleetwood Brougham ??, had the Corvette engine, trans, brakes as the SS, but softer suspension. That is your sleeper. Get one and add the SS suspension and wheels/tires.
Make my Buick Roadmaster Stationwagon
The subaru forester xt has got to be one of the most slept on sleepers of all time.
No one talks about the 3rd gen GS450h, but they go under 6 secs, are dirt cheap and you'll save gas as well...as long as the battery is ok.
Lexus 350h ,or to,Toyota crown sam0-60 under 5 secsk owned 5 they soooo reliable $all around $10kUSD if u dint see thick orange cables be SUS
early love the vids !!!
As a Volvo enthusiast, the V70 R segment made me cringe.
In your opinion what's the best Volvo to mod?
@@dcsshiftphone221 last model year 940 Turbo, 2.4 T5 (face 2 P24 S60 T5/ P26E V70 T5), any "P3" or Y5 with the VEP4 (might require some work on the lower output versions), pretty much any 2 liter VED5.
The 2.3 T5's are pretty good too.
S40/V40 T4 is pretty good too.
The 960/S90/V90 is pretty good if your ready to rip the engine apart. The B6254F can be Frankenstein:ed with B5234T (2.3 T5) pistons, increasing the displacement to 2.8, B6304F head. Or you could B6284T swap it. Basically the Volvo Moduler 6 is no joke and can give a 2JZ / RB26 a run for its money.
All depends on what you are after.
First sleeper I drove was a foxbody that my uncle got in college. Had drag tires out back and a put together flow master exhaust cat back. This was 05 I was like 13 and he let me rip it in a empty parking lot. Almost went into a ditch but we made it. Thanks UNC 😅
so you got the SHO, the FLEX and even the mazda with the 3.5 v6 - what about the fusion sport? my little mustang killer is sitting in my driveway right now.
I would daily a Chevy SS. One of my favorite cars of all time. Same with a 300S with a hemi. I want something large enough for a family of 4 but can still rip when I want. I've had a SHO, too many problems with it.
The old Buick LaCrosse looks like total dogshit. It’s one of the ugliest cars I’ve ever seen. Maybe don’t mess with any with chrome hood vents though, since the Supers have 300HP LS4s in them
I love giving Ford guys crap about their hot Rod eco boost cars, because it was first found in the station wagon Flex. So, that bad a$$ Ford GT? Yeah, station wagon power! Lol
I have a 2017 jaguar Xe Premium that I picked up for $13,000 bucks with just 72,000 miles. Came with a 340 HP supercharged V6 that made the aluminum body car already quick but a simple VAP tune and pulley change bumped that up over 400 HP and man this thing with AWD embarresses so many "muscle" cars. Puts a smile on my face everyday.
Damn $13k how!!
72,000 + jaguar = have fun with the repairs
My uncle had a Chrysler Conquest tsi from 1989. A turbo 2.5 it beat a few camero in its day. Even an iroc z 28. In a roll race
A flat black primered stuffed with a thunderbolt 427 sideoiler and a toploader. Lookout
The 06 Nissan Altima SE-R 6spd is a pretty great sleeper car!!
The the Sienna SE of the same gen has 296hp, better tires, sports suspension and transmission tuning, yet hits 60 in 7.8 to the Honda's 6.9. Sleeper indeed.
wish Chevy would bring the Caprice/Impala back my dad drove a used 84 Caprice Classic 4 dr Sedan in the 90s which was 17 3/4 Ft long the station wagon version of the car is 18.4 Ft long. my grandmother had a used 1984 Buick Skylark in the late 1980s traded that for a 1990 Toyota Camry even though the Camry had less horsepower than the Skylark by 20 granted I believe the Skylark had a 2.5 Liter I4 engine and the Camry had a 2 liter 4 Cylinder engine and her 2nd Camry has a V6 my younger brother drives it now
It's literally what the SS was. You just have to pay money to import the wagon.
I have Kia rio 2005 and I want to turn it to sleeper car how much would it cost? If I will work on it
You missed the 2007 Lexus ES350. Set this car in semiautomatic mode and zero 60 in 4.5 secs. In second gear.
