Some things say the airfield is Bedfordshire, it certainly used to be anyway. It’s pretty much on the border and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s moved between the counties when the lines have changed. The village of Podington is in Bedfordshire. Maybe the airfield is now Northamptonshire. But Santa Pod has a Bedford phone number. Saying that Bedford has a Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, post code to confuse things.

Was it relaid not long ago? I heard they were having problems with the tarmac and started losing records. Not that I’ll be going down there at those speeds. Do having something with 400bhp but it’s got four wheels, lots of leather, comfy seats. Won’t be troubling that bike!
@@Jafmanz LOL you don't know much about drag racing. A 'fast track' is one conducive to achieving high speeds and good ETs. Some ain't as fast as others. Altitude, track composition, age, wind, temperature....
The 2 in the equation doesn't mean double, it means squared.

Lying face down head first going down a mountain on basically a tray with blades it’s pretty fast. 63 was the target to beat the world record at the time. Guy actually went 83.5mph down the mountain. I’d call that quite fast.
