In Germany you can see those with vans driving totally chilled with about 120-130 mph on the left lane
Totally true (have done it myself with a Sixt Van) but it's a completely different story to go 50mph faster than 120mph! That's over 270kph vs a bit over 200kph (GPS speed, not speedo indicated).

Not quite, the TT has that one clinched slightly (135.4mph, vs Dundrods 134.6)
There are speed-regulated classes, certainly. But there is also the Unlimited class. As in, go as fast as you can, no target speed average. Stand on it. The current and also world's record is an AVERAGE speed of over 219 MPH. That's fast. Really fast.
Next time you want to build something fun i can help with aero. (ex redbull and ferrari f1 here, i'm up for a laugh).
I dont understand this race? If all you have to do is average 150mph, then you could win in an old bmw 530d ? So why all the supercars??
They dont need to wear any helmets on that speed in 3 sec youre dust in the wind....and you dont want to spend the rest of your eternity in heaven with your helmet on
I've crashed a few times at very, very high speeds. I'm still here, but it all depends what you hit and how you hit it.
I used to drive my simi tractor trailer on that road.50 mph was about max speed for the narrows.I have seen lots of trucks and trailers wrecks there.simi trucks and rock walls don't mix.

Ever heared about the Renault Espace F1 that's made in the 90's?
This about 25 Year old VAN would eat Guy's Ford easily! It is packed with F1-technology: Chassis, Clutch, Gearbox, Brakes, ... and an 3,5L F1 V10 that makes 820hp. This VAN runs 0-100km/h in 2,8 seconds (0-200 in 6,9!) and its top speed is above 300km/h!
Maybe Guy is the man to ask Renault about having a drive in this most extreme VAN ever built.

As a lifelong van owner and all around Van Fan for their utility and cool factor (70’s), I enjoyed this.
Guy’s van make all the right noises, performs incredibly and look’s awesome.
I know he’s taken it in the Nuremberg ring.
I know he’s ridden a bike on Pikes Peak.
