Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My front button broke and now I know how to disassemble. COOL
Happy to help
Great review, dude. 😊
Those are really great products!
They are nice but kind of a luxury item for sure.
Great review, was interesting to see the innards of this beastie.. have just ordered one, need this as I am stepping up to 6s .
Cheers, Simon. Malvern uk.
I have always been interned in how things work and what's inside of them. I glad you enjoyed the video. Check those links in the description 😉
I changed the connector from the XT60 to the Spektrum IC3. Since Spektrum is using the I.S.D.T. circuitry in their batteries, all of the battery information is displayed just like it is on Spektrum's Smart chargers and the Smart checker. Very nice.
Get a 5.5mm tip for the iron and put that gun in a museum. Thanks for the video. Banggood has mine on the boat.
Haha yea that iron is old. Hopefully yours arrives with a few less dents than mine did!
@@TweetFPV Ya, I got a couple old Wen bakelite cased stored in my museum somewhere.
thanks for taking it appart....I was thinking to convert mine to XT90 and now I know how it looks inside :)
Glad I could help
@@TweetFPV I ordered the Linker-Cable...but actually it is completely useless, right? Firmware-Udates goes over Blutooth and I cannot display the status and the interface on the PC...right?
Yea the linker cable was for the older discharge and the older 608 isdt chargers.
I made a linker tool a long time ago with a ftdi adapter and a stereo 3. 5mm headphone jack 😂
@@TweetFPV So did buy this totally for nothing, right?
Now that you’ve had it 8 months, are u still liking this? I’m considering ordering one
Totally worth it! No issues with it at all. I don't really mess with the android interface at all. I just set it and forget it. If i come home with a bunch of charged lipos that i trust i'll just put them all on a parallel board and hit go!
TweetFPV I love how u said your quad doesn’t have a balance lead to discharge your lipo. Lmao so true. If u take care of your lipos then don’t worry about it . O, I got a link from Etsy for to do a review on my grips I ordered for my qx7 and when I click the button it says “you don’t have permission to change or remove this information” whatever that means. I was gonna do a review, these are sweet so ty
Huh. Not sure on that one. Etsy does it down thing some times. I you can leave a review that would be awesome but if not no big deal. I appreciate the thought.
Most of my lipos die from physical damage waaaaay before molecular damage takes place 😂
Whats nice that it tells me that i accidentally connected a 12s pack to it and it wont discharge lmao
16:32 i was like wtf
Haha yea kinda jarring!
I know I would have to make an adapter, however after that is this safe to discharge a 650mah 4s lipo with XT30
Absolutely!
@@TweetFPV Thanks
Can you help please?
I've bought an ISDT FD-200 and the app says the the firmware is damaged. When I try to update the firmware it won't!
The discharger won't do anything in this state. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bruce
I'm sorry but i really can't think of any solutions to your problem. I recommend contacting the retailer that you purchased the fd200 from and contact ISDT as well.
@@TweetFPV Thanks for the prompt reply.
Have just emailed Hobby King. ISDT next!
mine is stuck in upgrading mode! it is flashing blue green red, does it require a battgo battery? i only have bias lipo. i think i may need to return it.
No you don't need to use a batgo lipo. It sounds like it might have gotten bricked during an update. I'd reach out to isdt directly. They might have a solution for you. They are kinda slow to respond.
@@TweetFPV thank you for telling me this information. It arrived in an opened box, i'm disappointed they'd ship me a used unit. I'll likely have to ask eBay to step in. no response as of yet:(
Bummer man, that's just not right. But ebay will make it right if the seller won't.
These are awesome for you reviewers that get them for free, but us buying these for $80 bucks is kinda ridiculous for what they bring to the table. Our chargers can discharge batteries just fine, we can fly them down to storage charge, and we can be more careful to not charge too many batteries for a flying session. With a balance board, and possibly a second balance board daisy chained in, we can charge or discharge up to 12 batteries at once. With a 6000mah or more 4 - 6S battery, we can have the benefit of charging in the field and the ISDT Q6 pro, for about $50 bucks and those balance boards, makes that easy! 👍
We can then only charge a more realistic amount of batteries for a flying session, then charge more in the field, if we need them.
*All this product your reviewing does is speed up what we can already do.* AND, are we really in a hurry to discharge? No, because we're not getting ready to go fly, we're done with flying, so is there really a need to discharge in a rush?!! 🤔🙄
*I'd much rather put that money towards what I described above as field charging isn't what we can already do, and gives us a great benefit! Or, buying a second charger, like the ISDT Q6 pro, will give us the ability to charge and discharge twice the amount of batteries we can do now.* IMO, these faster discharges don't bring anything new to my charging system, just faster speed to what I can already do, so I'd rather spend my $80 bucks on something I described above, which gives me more speed, more versatility, and more capabilities that I don't already have, but could more greatly benefit from. I don't think these fast dischargers are a good use of my FPV bucks! Nope, certainly a frill and not for me. 🤔😎
