I bought one of these after watching your vid, it’s a great bit of kit. One thing to note is that out of the box, it wouldn’t work. It beeped and error with every pack until I updated the firmware on it.
Yes its a great bit of kit, glad you liked it after buying from my review - phew 😂😂 i love mine though. Thanks for sharing that you had to update the firmware to make it work, i didnt have that issues, but you sharing lets others know if they have that issues, i will pin it 😂

@@norcalrc 100% agree - never started the youtube to make money, in fact it was Callum that started it, then i took it over back in April when i was put on Furlough, now i enjoy sharing the fun we have and also throwing in some informative videos with it. Its a great little gadget and one i use every week, never know how may lipos we will use, so just charge them all up, then if have packs full use this to get them back into storage mode quickly, no more waiting hours to discharge
The ISDT dischargers are a fantastic bit of kit, i dont have this FD200 discharger yet. I have for sometime been using the smaller ISDT FD100 discharger & love it & would not be without it. It just takes so long to discharge lipo's on most Lipo chargers, i now never need to discharge on my charger.
Totally agree - was hesitant in buying this , but so glad i did - being able to discharge a battery quickly is great, dont have to worry about how many lipos to charge up now and taking hours to discharge if not used

I just saw the banggood charger you have in the description and I am so glad I saw it! I was going to buy their single charger without a touch screen on amazon for $50, but I can get the duo with touch screen on banggood for only $10 more!
Its a great charger as well - have two of them. Easy to use and has 150watt on the AC which you can split between the channels in what ever way you want (75/75 or 90/60 for example)

Works very well and has been well used - did this video ages ages as you can tell by the sub count 😂😂 i just charge up all our lips and head out now, before i used to worry about having full packs at the end of a day, not worried now 👍👍

Very cool charger. I've always wondered what I can discharge to storage at. So is that a safe practice to the battery to discharge at over the rate we charge them 5.0amp?
Yes its fine as the packs are rated at 60c ( 300amps) so easy able to handle 25 amps to discharge. This is just way way quicker than using a charger which is normally 2 amps discharge
8:15 yea but that cell checker along with any other one like it, they all look and function almost identical, is inaccurate at best.
Never had any issues with that cell checker, bar carrying around a multi meter it does its job and is accurate enough, always matched the voltage that any charger has shown as well
Love the channel, super helpful for someone getting into RC. Could you discharge multiple same spec batteries simultaneously? ie connect 2 x 3s and discharge as 6s.
Thanks - do try to share good stuff as well as having fun with the cars. if you connected them in series i dont see why your couldn't, but wouldn't discharge any quicker so might as well just do then one at a time

Is it safe to do the maximum setting of 25A discharge current for a 6S Lipo?
As long as its within your Lipos C rating then yes
@@HardcoreRC I use 1300-1550mah packs. Should ir be fine then?
@@PatronFPV What is the C rating of those packs ? as long as they are 20C or better then yes you should be fine be fine
