This was briliant and inspiering. Morrowind/elder scrolls pre-Oblivion lore is the damn best and makes the hair stand on my arm of pure exitment. And you showcased that so well in this video, thank you :)
Who would have thought that your mere trip to Necrom would make you the first player to discover the secrets hidden deep within! Conversations with TR developers and learning secrets is exciting! Next, you’ll be interviewing Kirkbride and Goodalll.
"The Endeavor" doesn't just refer to the Chimer/Dunmer wat of life. Whenever "The Endeavor" is mentioned it is most likely a reference to the Psijic Endeavor, which is the process of Mortals transcending the gods that created them. The use of the word "Profane" is also interesting. Kagrenac's Tools are referred to as the "Profane Tools." Seems to me that the implication of that mural is that using the heart of Lorkhan is kinda cheating in the Psijic Endeavor, but that The Tribunal will still work to ensure that the Dunmer people as a whole eventually succeed at it. This also mirrors Lorkhan failing in the Psijic Endeavor so that mortals would be able to see his failure as "what not to do."
Super great breakdown of the different between Anu, Padomay, Anuiel, Sithis, etc. That’s the best and most helpful analogy I’ve seen for things yet. Overall, a fantastic video! :D
The lore of Elder Scrolls in general and Morrowind specifically is just something else. I love how deep it goes and how believable and immersive it all is.
This was a fun video to watch. The MMO username analogy is the best description of aspects of the aspects I have ever heard. I have never thought about the lack of enchantment, but considering who is holding them they may have chosen to shut off. The whole Velothi leaving Ariel for Lorkhan and the Psijic endevour. As a direct result Mr. More than hands became Malacath and his followers became the Orcs, further weakening Ariel's influence in Tamriel. The Tribunal Temple is the direct inheritor of Veloth's teachings, Auriel has no love for it or it's champions.
Thanks! I was really suspicious that they would be choosing to get involved, but then I thought, maybe the would choose the pragmatic path and work with the Temple to get a shot at the heart again!
Having just found you, I'm loving your content so far. If you font already have plans for a guid for the Ebony Mail, I think that it would complement the videos on the Lord's Mail, and the Dragonbone Cuirass.
Thanks, glad youre enjoying the channel! It's on the list for sure, I have to do a specific morrowind build without certain patches to do it the exploit way. I did recently get it the proper way in my Tribunal Temple Series: ua-cam.com/play/PLH6Xcz8wDMAA_Os1J4snqEjJ1IdnYHE2N.html&si=ps8nyjZTF82luTf8
Yeah, early on it was mostly just quick acquisition, then I started doing little lore bits here and there, but this was my first really deep dive and I've very excited to do more like it!
truly tamriel rebuilt is a massive work of art, i haven't gotten deep into it yet, but it's beautiful. thanks for the video, diving into tes lore can be so complicated! to build a theory on that and present it well is no joke. video aside, tr necrom was always way more interesting to me than any glimpse of eso necrom i got.......
never knew about the private ghostfences, glad i do now. seems like the removing those ancestors might set some bad blood, even if the gods commanded it.
I did something similar a few weeks ago to get the bow so i could get the enchanted daedric armor. I've played morrowind at least a dozen times and never realized that the shield was in the game. Also the dice gods hate me, as it took around 217 times quicksaving to actually steal the bow. It almost wasn't worth it.
It sounds good enough to me. I defimitely will be going back to morrowind after skyrim at some point. But I will admit I have enjoyed skyrim a lot more than I thought I would. Not sure if I would have enjoyed it as much if I stuck to.a hard rule of no mods though.
I've ended the guy who had Auriel's bow so many times for the 50 pt. Feather enchant Daedric cuirass and grieves. Because your crazy if u think I'm gonna go through Mournhold Dwemer ruins for the cuirass.
The temple aren't pro heart of lorkhan though right? I thought it was a secret that the living gods used it and most people only thought the dwemer then dagoth ur did.
Mostly ALMSIVI themselves, the Tribunal as a whole are pro-"good" daedra though. I was thinking along the lines that while the temple wouldnt be openly talking about the heart, trying to dislodge Dagoth Ur and reclaim it was always the ideal solution for all that knew. I could have worded it better though!
I love how they appear so modest, but are in fact some of the most epic artefacts on Tamriel. Great video! And happy Father's day!
Thanks! It was fascinating to dig into the lore behind them!

I would absolutely love that. 😳
I'm glad you were able to clean this up before the full release. Great work as always and Happy Father's Day, Git!
Meeee too! Thanks again!

I don't think I've ever had either of these items in my years playing Morrowind. Thanks for clearing up their creation and how to acquire these!

Thanks! It's a really dense topic on its own so I tried to boil it down to the essentials

this feels so professionally made
Thanks! It was a really fun one to make!
Love these lore-heavy videos, great work!
Thank you! They're a lot more rewarding that I was expecting, I learned a lot myself just researching it!

@@Gitshiver Definitely going to give those a watch.
awesome information and explanation, that you for sharing
It would be awesome to see lore involved in every item video

More than likely, Auriel bow and shield are there for revenge against Lorkhan (heart) because he is still alive technically if his heart is beating
Lol I love the bit about it the crown store 😂 hit very close to home
Great vid, make a series out of this for sure

Такие видео вдохновляют меня вновь отправиться в TR. Эти господа по-настоящему знают, как продолжить существующий лор Морровинда. Спасибо Вам!

Yeah, even Todd Howard mods his skyrim lol
@@Gitshiver his favorite mod was one of my first: Inigo. He is pretty cool actually.
@@JoeEnderman I freakin love that cat!

Top tier Morrowind content!
I always swap em for the daedric feather armor. 😅
tbf, in their current state, it's honestly hard not to lol
27:30 the triangular items of the device seem to be originated in the wall below
Best video yet
Video estremamente interessante. Come membro del Tribunale la cosa mi tocca nel profondo.
This video was so good
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for your content. This video made me appreciate Dagoth Ur even more. Screw Azura, she's the biggest ashhole in TES 3.
nice
