The dude that got his demon stolen at a dealer while it was there for normal maintenance needs to sue. It's almost impossible for that to happen in a few hour visit unless someone from the dealer was in on it.
he said it was on sunday , no dealerships are open on sunday so it was while they were closed and the place was empty. Obviously an inside job , someone knew that car was there.
I had to leave my car at the dealership overnight it was left inside elevated on the rack. I Saw it on my dash Cam. Sad thing is many thefts happen from people you know or do business with. Insurance on these cars is going to skyrocket.
I keep my Hellcat locked in the garage at all times. I also park my girlfriend's Durango in front of the garage door. I never leave the car out of my sight when I have it out. It's really sad that you work your a** off to get your dream car and can't really enjoy it for fear of it being stolen. Sad times we live in.
I have had the great fortune to get a 2022 C8 HTC at MSRP from a local dealer in South Central PA that only gets 1 or 2 allocations per year. I hate to go anywhere and need to park the car out of my sight! I am fighting a serious illness and still try to park away from the masses even if it means walking the extra distance. I keep looking over my shoulder a number of times as I walk towards my destination. Then when I return, I sometimes find other vehicles beside it. Ok, time to look for door dings or scratches. My worst experience was back in 1973 or 1974 at the Pocono Racetrack. We pulled into the grassy parking area and began getting ready to go into the track area. A guy pulled in next to me in an older car. As a younger kid exited that car, he left the driver’s side door open too wide and it hit my passenger side door of my almost brand new 1973 340 Cuda. The kid was pretty young and dad yelled at the kid and apologized, but the dent it left did piss me off a lot. (I was 18 or 19 at the time and that Cuda was my pride and joy.)
I also live in North Texas. I’m a Hellcat owner and I’m a 21 year Law Enforcement Officer. Even I get very nervous driving the Hellcat to Fort Worth or Dallas now. But I can assure you other proud owners we do our best in the law enforcement community to run the plates of each one we see to help locate the stolen ones. If the plate doesn’t match up we will get a stop and verify who is driving the vehicle. Great content brother! If your on Linkedin add me!
We do our best brother! I love Hellcats Just as much as the next guy as well! I also love to incarcerate the ones who attempt to take away what we have worked so hard for! Love your content!
@@MrBanningSweatland very glad to see my local local law enforcement (i too live in north Texas) aware and caring about these problems! Just another thing to give me a tad bit more peace of mind
I daily drive my Scat pack in Dallas also. Can confirm cops go out of their way to scan plates 🙄. But haven’t been stolen or robbed in over a year so 🤞🤞🤞
@@eddy3080 stay safe out there. Hope this mopar theft dies down. Hopefully if enough people implement a bunch of these anti theft measures, they start giving up and move on to other cars. Better yet, hopefully they all do their time in prison
Dodge's refusal to fix the security on their cars is why I probably won't ever buy one. The fact that they sell cars that cost well over $80K with garbage security on them is just unacceptable.
Is it really the manufactures fault? Thieves are the ones breaking the law and if you have anything of value to them then they will always be actively stealing, no matter how easy or difficult a particular item is to steal. The police, D.A.s and procedures need to step up catching and prosecuting these criminals.
I appreciate the feature man. It has been super stressful to deal with thus far. I have no hopes in anyone finding the car at this point. Even if they did find it, I don't think I would ever take ownership again. I would argue total loss tooth and nail and move on. I hope there's an opportunity in the near future to own one again while we're in this time crunch on discontinuation of high trim production models. It was fun while it lasted.
@@sick_mopars_711 Nope. I have both sets of keys. Apparently they have a small device that can be placed on your car that send out many frequencies really fast and unlocks/starts your car simultaneously. They just get in and drive it off into the sunset.
This is one of the main reasons i sold my 21’ widebody scat. Was not only worried about it being stolen but having my family with me should a situation like that happen.
A friend of mine got his 392 stolen a month or so ago in the middle of the night. He worked so hard to get it and it was custom made as well. Feels like anyone will just steal a car nowadays.
I’m trying to get a 392 but it sucks that I legit have to carry a gun wit me in atl now I’m not used to having to do that I have a permit n still never carried my shit I got a 08 tarus but just hearing how they car get stolen or even worse makes me nervous I’m also gonna try get an alarm system

I bought my kitty to road trip a couple years ago, but I won’t bring it down. The whole vibe down there is Wild West. They on some next level shyt. This is a damn shame. Especially with how hard it’s going to be to even replace them. I had my RF module updated and I installed a neutral strap on too. Someone recently told me Tazer now has the ability to add a code on one of their products in order to start. I may have to check that out. Stay safe everyone!
I really feel for your friend who's demon was stolen from the dealership. Sadly that's exactly what happened to my hellcat. Took it in for routine service at the dealership in the afternoon. In the morning, it was gone.
My buddy's scat pack was stolen a few months ago in Maryland. It's ridiculous how easy it seems these cars are easy to steal. It was in his parking spot, (seen on a neighbors door bell camera) . They walked up.. broke out the back window, and got in and drove off in about 1 minute. NO CAR ALARM went off.. nothing. Gone. The cops found it 12 hours later with bald tires, a top recorded speed of 155mph, and a torn up dash board. Damn shame. He's wishing they never found it. Seems they just took it for a joy ride and beat up on it
I work for one of the largest auto insurance companies in the nation, covering auto thefts in 8 Western states. Auto theft is out of control just about everywhere and anything with a push button start can be stolen in a matter of seconds using a relay hacking device. Basically if your key is within approximately 100 ft of the car it's subject of theft. Based on my experience an average residential garage door opener has much more security than most of these push button start systems. And it doesn't matter the year, make, or model. Even the national insurance crime bureau recently purchased a few of these hacking devices and were able to successfully start about half of their fleet vehicles. I personally use a brake lock device on all my vehicles. $50 of cheap insurance and a pain in the ass to break unless you happen to have a sawzall.
They can try and take mine but it won't work. I have a ignition Killswitch, neutral strap delete plate and car lock system on it. I also recommend.people go get a Concealed Carry License learn the laws in your state and defend your shit. Me personally if someone tries to take my shit I'm putting them in the forever box. You see I'm a Army.vet who served for ten years on active duty and I have earned my right to keep the shit worked my ass off for and sacrificed for. My car is one of those things and I'll be damned if I'll let some criminal think he can come take my shit without paying the ultimate price.
mopar being the outlaws of the auto industry is a blessing and a curse. we love the attention it gets whether if its good or bad and it really gives out that "don't mess with us" vibe but yet theyre also the ones that are most targetted by thieves and crimes. sadly its the trade off of what mopar has become. you cant have the good without the bad.
If you own/want to own one of these performance cars please keep them garage kept when you’re not out enjoying them. Don’t let them just sit outside looking like a steak dinner to a dog..
This situation is definitely out of control. I have one of the best anti-theft systems... I drive a Manual! Apparently most thieves can not drive a Manual. I know it's not a fool proof system, but it's definitely a consistent one. In one instance on a news story that aired a few months back, during a car jacking the thief commandeered the guys car and immediately opened the door and took off running when he realized the car was a manual. Of course that's speculation because the jacker never got caught, but the owner believes the manual saved his Challenger. I live in Louisville, KY. Car jackings have risen an unbelievable 200% within the last 3 years. 200 freaking percent! That's an incredible and unbelievable increase in number. Louisville isn't alone either. As you state in this video, thieves are stealing cars in record numbers all over the country in the major cities of every sate. Unfortunately Mopar vehicles are getting hit the hardest. I do not know the answer, but I wonder how many of these Mopars are manual. I'd be willing to bet that the number is extremely low. Really, really low. Especially if the majority of these stolen vehicles are Chrgers. I don't know why Dodge decided to be so stingy with the 6 speed. In my opinion a manual is the only way to go. The off the line advantage is nil to me. It's that sense of control and added spice of fun that I love. When driving a manual I feel special. It's like being a member of a private club. Especially these days when Manuals and those that drive them are fading. It's weird when I'm driving my nephew and his friends when they stare at me. My driving is amazing to them. That's all I've got. This comment is way to long. Thanks for the video Racer.
I own manual Scat and I plan on buying a manual Hellcat. There’s no way I’d have a sports car that’s NOT 6speed in the first place but with this situation here, it would highly be recommended to get a manual. Of course like you mentioned, a lot of these thieves are targeting more Chargers, Durangos, Trackhawks more than Challengers I think because of the automatic. Not that Challenger Hellcats aren’t getting stolen but the 6 speed manuals are much lower on that list.
This totally sucks…. Just driving my Charger Scat Widebody is scary at time when you’re in the wrong area.. i have to park cars in front of my garage door at night.. some douche tried to break in my garage about a month ago and the alarm went off on the Charger.. its BULLSHIT that we cant enjoy our cars.. great info brother X
@@RacerX9 hey brother. Got a weird message from someone claiming to be you to hit them up on some other platform. Not gonna do it but I thought I should warn you.
Work hard for my challenger as I am sure all of you do as well a great security device is available from smith and Wesson. Any extra security you can add is a plus and is needed. I could never find another 21 smoke show 6 speed shaker scat pack challenger. Pandemic year not many of this model with these options made. Hope he gets a new one hard to replace something you love.
I love my brand new 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack. I got it in Smoke Show Gray I just now finally hit 5,000 miles on my car, and it feels like it just came off the lot. I got the nice smooth Alcantara Ruby Red Seats with Red Calipers. I have a Sunroof and Navigation on my Unconnect, and a bunch of other lil goodies like Blind Spot Detection Etc, Etc. But I'm starting to hate it, and I say this because it's literally starting to stress me tf out all the time. I shouldn't have to go to work in my Scat Pack, and be so damn nervous and stressed out all the time that my car is not going to be sitting out there on my next break. You don't understand. Seeing the Smoke Show Gray in person and seeing it on a video is way way different. You will straight fall in love when seeing it in person. Overall the car is freaking amazing. But.... it's a really really stressful car to own and be driving around. I'm glad I own a garage, but look at it this way. If a Thief wants your car, they will get your car no matter what. After driving a Mopar. It's literally hard to drive anything else around. Once you get a taste of that power and what it feels like to be inside a Challenger or Charger, you will instantly be hooked lol. Never knew a car could be so addictive. Guys, I would probably go into depression or end up in prison if someone took my beautiful ride. I work really hard in life to have the things I have, and to see someone that sits around or runs the street to go out and steel these type of cars just makes me so fkn sick to my stomach. Get a fkn job, 😤 You think it's bad now. Just wait a few more years when you can no longer buy one. These type of cars will definitely be a target. I know it's bad now, but it's gonna get way way worse when Dodge don't make these cars no more. Glad I have more than one vehicle to drive around in lol. Sorry for the book I just wrote.
Mine was stolen as well in broad daylight. They used the neutrual strap (go get the plate from destroyer1320) and tried to hack it through OBD2 port, but I had the Dodge RF Hub lock which saved me. Thanks RacerX for making continued videos about our issues of theft with our cars. :)
As much as I needed and wanted to hear that its also a little depressing. I just bought my brand new Charger Hellcat Redeye a few days ago. Its REALLY asham that some people would rather steel a car than just work for it the way I and so many others did. We work too hard for our Mopar for someone to try and just take it from us. Still, I have absolutely no regrets about buying my Hellcat. I love it. Keep up the great content Racer X.
Congrats on your redeye it does suck just make sure you keep it locked up in a garage n when you take it out keep your head on on a swivel because that's the one they want the most be safe out bother.
I really appreciate that my brother. It's a great thing when a man congratulates another on an accomplishment. This is my very first NEW car. And its a Redeye of all things. I will definitely heed your advice. Again, thank you very much.
Whenever I park my 2017 Scat and it is accessible to thieves, I pop the hood, open the fuse box cover, pull the starter relay, and put it in my pocket. Everything still works so you can use your key fob to lock and unlock the car, the lights will even come on when you unlock it, but it will not start until I replace the starter relay. It might be a pain, but it is worth the extra time to ensure it's not stolen.
Yeah. Getting it stolen is bad. Getting jacked is even worse. I won’t even drive mine to certain areas, because I really don’t want to deal with the stress.
Time to load up on AirTags, kill switches, fuse removal and chaining wheel to wheel to stop these cars from being taken. It’s a real shame. A great deal of people work hard for these cars, only for someone to easily come by and snatch them away. My buddy has a manual transmission and that was what stopped his car from pulling away
Back in 2005 I moved to southern Louisiana and got a job working in land survey after hurricane Katrina. I brought my 99 trans am firehawk with me. Within a few months it got stolen from my apartment complex. I was flabbergasted by the whole event being a trusting and nieve guy in his early 20s. I got lucky, my car was recovered in east baton rouge in one piece. I brought the car to Thunder Racing and had them put a new cam and valvetrain in out of fear of it being overrevved on the highway. My big take away was to develop situational awareness and install a club as an extra layer of protection. I hope it works out and the car thieves see prosecution.
Get RF lockout, keep your fob in a faraday pouch at home and out, cover the neutral strap with the steel box (not the flimsy plate) and mount with security screws. That’s 90% covered. Top it off with a new model club and a pedal lock. For tracking, best bang for your buck is buy a couple AirTags, remove the speakers and mount them in non-dumb locations. Every apple product within 30 feet of your car will give you constant pings and lead you right to it (worldwide).
I just got a scat pack and I have the drone system installed with an upgraded alarm, a kill switch, the neutral strip cover, the RF lockout, and I keep my keys in a faraday pouch 95% of the time. And my wheels have wheel locks. So basically only way they’re taking my scat is if they tow that bitch away. And at that point, nothing I can do and I guess I will accept my fate lol.
@@nightmeer0820 You forgot the worst way...they will jack folks. Nobody on here remembers the fireman up in Chicago last year that retired, and got jacked for his Trackhawk? He caught a bullet, but missed the three crooks. He died. They ran away. It’s all on video. Google “Teen charged in retired Chicago firefighters shooting death”

Don't let nobody follow you home, always be in those mirrors, install a kill switch hidden within the car, if you can't put it in a garage make sure you park other household members cars around it so it's hard to get to, use an aftermarket car cover for a truck or SUV so it's big and baggy and distorts the shape of the vehicle.

Much of this has to do with lack of repercussions IF and when the perps caught, they are let out the next day on low or no bond...doing it all over again. That is unreal having several cars stolen at a dealership during the day. WTF??!!
Making car theft a capital offense with a 10yr minimum penalty would deter those degenerate car thieves. Any honest person shouldn't have a problem with it.

if yall airtag your cars, take the speakers out of the airtags theres videos on youtube how to do it, cause if you dont the airtag will beep if the thief has an iphone. They wont be able to find it if the speakers are gone.
Dodge has been dragging their feet on their anti-theft measures that they've spoken about. I remember calling my local dealership a couple of months ago to ask about it, and the guys had no idea what I was talking about. I told them about the information that's all over the internet, and they confirm that Dodge has not communicated anything so far. The worst part about all of this, is even if you managed to get your car back, it will never be the same. At best, it's beating up on due to the break-in. At worst, the car has been totaled.
Hey X, I had the Dodge Security update done on my 2018 R/T Scat disallowing the cloning of my key fobs. Have you gotten any feedback on how well it’s working to prevent theft? Mine is also a 6 manual which I guess is a deterrent to most, hopefully. Btw, I have no clue as to why your channel buffs won’t hit the subscribe button. Really, how ridiculous! Hang in there buddy!
If you got that, keep your keys in a faraday pouch or box when at home or work, and put the neutral strap plate cover on, that’ll be about 90% secure as it can be I think. That’s how most of these thieves are stealing them. I recommend an upgraded alarm system so that if they got in your car, they don’t have the time to even try to remove the neutral strap cover or anything cuz that alarm will make them run
I was thinking every owner should exercise their 2A rights and pack iron! It might even be kind of fun to bait the scumbags, daring them to come steal the car.
That just blows for all of those guys & women that have had there ride stolen. I know it happens in Canadian waters but not the way it's going in the U.S. My heart goes out to all those people.
The real key is to stop the criminal revolving door. There are no penalties and prosecutors treat car theft less than some traffic violations, it’s ridiculous.
They stole my close friends scat pack at the dealer ship im Irving tx it was a Daytona he went to get service they told hem to park it some where in the dealership and they stole it crazy man

A good car alarm + an IGLA system, and a couple different forms of tracking would prevent alot of this. Expensive but not as much as a new car. Dont rely on the Uconnect and the stock system. But if they want it bad enough they will get it.
I'm so sorry that peoples cars are getting stolen. I hope the laws become harsher for criminals. I remember coming from Kuwait last year and reading the articles from Saudi Arabia and people who were murderers and thieves getting head amputations or hands cut off.
Yep, and it works! When people actually get severe punishment for committing crimes, crimes will stop. If it is an automatic death sentence to steal a car, car theft rates will decrease dramatically.
It’s because of how popular they’ve become in rap culture. These young kids are coming in from the inner city’s trying to be like their favorite rappers.
Adding a column lock would slow them down. It will keep them from being able to turn it if they try to put it in neutral and push it away. May give you more time to catch thieves.

From what I heard on this channel and other UA-cam channels devoted to Mopar features - - If a Mopar has a sunroof, the sunroof makes it easier just to break in. If the Mopar is a stick, it is much easier to break the ignition lock, put the trans in neutral, and tow or push the car away. - - Need an electronics wiz to design a full shut-off system for these cars, where the car's electronics can only be activated with a multi-digit (8 or more) code. Probably need a full no-fail armored ignition lock OR a full tilt UNBREAKABLE lock system over the ignition lock. Surprised no one has done this for the late model Mopar guys as yet. 2015 B5 392 Challenger SRT stolen in February in Atlanta, Georgia - not yet recovered 2017 Jeep GC SRT stolen in Dallas, Texas - recovered 2 weeks later. The difference in having a stolen car recovered and not recovered is equally stressful. I’ve been without the Jeep now for two months while it undergoes maintenance and repairs. On top of that, I have to live with the fact that the Jeep will loose value in the long run. My best advice is make sure you are fully covered and by all accounts be aware of your surroundings. Check out the Z Automotive Tazer - they just added a feature where if you don't enter a pin through your cruise control buttons it locks the brakes & you can't move the car...
With so many unethical dealers out there, its easy to imagine thieves getting some help from a disgruntled or underpaid service dept employee OR back of the office with access to credit app with a buyers home and employer address. Someone at a dealer service would be perfect to scope type of security system on vehicle too...
It's getting to point of not worth the trouble owning a higher trim mopar. If you don't have a garage and and a daily driver your chances of getting your car stolen is definitely on the rise.
My 2018 5.7 Daytona was stolen last year. I did have the ability to actively track it. So my wife and I sat it the police station while the watch commander called the various locations in to other departments responding. 6 different departments and one helicopter later it was recovered. Glad to have gotten it back because many don’t. Was uncomfortable listening to all the bumps and bruises over the radio but having a tracking device other the Uconnect paid off. Almost lost my heart when they were calling it off because speed was 150mph . Almost 21k for insurance to repair.
It's crazy I don't even want to drive my 1320 anymore. It stays locked in my garage unless I can stay with it outside and not leave it's side. Usually just a joy ride or a car show. It really is sad that so many are being jacked.

My wife has a scat pack Challenger. The dealership swapped out the key fobs. According to them the fobs are being hacked or something. It's a certain demographic that's the problem but you aren't supposed to talk about it. I am speaking from experience .we had a half dozen cars stolen in the last few years .
Spot on! I commented elsewhere here that I like to pull the fuel system relay fuse whenever I will be away from my ride for a length of time. Between that and that my car being Manual, it should motivate the would be thief to move to an easier target.
That box is a transponder, and it picks up the signal of the key fob, and lets them copy that info onto a blank so they can just take it, and rekey it...

Dodge's refusal to fix the security on their cars is why I probably won't ever buy one. The fact that they sell cars that cost well over $80K with garbage security on them is just unacceptable.
This comment should have way more likes.

Exactly. At $80k, you’re In Mercedes S Class AMG or BMW 7 Series territory. Try stealing one of those at a grocery shop.
Is it really the manufactures fault? Thieves are the ones breaking the law and if you have anything of value to them then they will always be actively stealing, no matter how easy or difficult a particular item is to steal.
The police, D.A.s and procedures need to step up catching and prosecuting these criminals.
It’s a Fiat what do you expect
Having had a car stolen before, it's a terrible feeling, and very frustrating, especially when we work hard to get our cars.

Right there with you, Bro. Desert Storm Veteran. Former SF. I'm in Texas. we're pretty good on laws in defense of our vehicles.
💯. If you own a Hellcat especially, you should own a firearm. Unfortunately, that’s where things stand in the US.
This is nuts Racer-X.

mopar being the outlaws of the auto industry is a blessing and a curse. we love the attention it gets whether if its good or bad and it really gives out that "don't mess with us" vibe but yet theyre also the ones that are most targetted by thieves and crimes. sadly its the trade off of what mopar has become. you cant have the good without the bad.

I treat my Hemi Orange like my ole Harley. If I can't see when it's parked I don't take it.

Get a fkn job, 😤
You think it's bad now. Just wait a few more years when you can no longer buy one. These type of cars will definitely be a target. I know it's bad now, but it's gonna get way way worse when Dodge don't make these cars no more. Glad I have more than one vehicle to drive around in lol. Sorry for the book I just wrote.
Most of us feel exactly that way...
Great video Bud. There's a special place in hell for thieves. When the sands of time run out for them, they're going to have hell to pay.
There really is. I hope when the reckoning comes, it was all worth it.
It's because Dodge is discontinuing these Hellcats scatpacks, challengers, Chargers and there V8s
So your car was stolen or someone attempted to steal it?

As much as I needed and wanted to hear that its also a little depressing. I just bought my brand new Charger Hellcat Redeye a few days ago. Its REALLY asham that some people would rather steel a car than just work for it the way I and so many others did. We work too hard for our Mopar for someone to try and just take it from us. Still, I have absolutely no regrets about buying my Hellcat. I love it. Keep up the great content Racer X.

Congratulations, try to harden your beautiful car against theft best you can.
Thank you my friend. I will certainly do my best. I worked too hard to loose it, especially by thieves.
Air tags are useless unless the thief is using an iPhone, without an iPhone nearby to ping off of the AirTag cant receive an updated GPS signal

I told them about the information that's all over the internet, and they confirm that Dodge has not communicated anything so far.
The worst part about all of this, is even if you managed to get your car back, it will never be the same. At best, it's beating up on due to the break-in. At worst, the car has been totaled.

How do AirTags work? I have a 392 Shaker and I need something to track the car when I go places lol.
Remember the crooks are putting AirTags on the cars while they are out in public, so they can track it home.
Bro you have to take the speaker off the AirTag or they will hear it when you ping it. They’ll find it and throw it away. Also, you have to put it in a place that they can never get to. Drop it and forget it.
@@jpmopars1016 I dropped it in a space I don’t think I can get it back and also on the app it gives you an option to not let it ping, so I think it works I don’t hear it pinging, but thank you for the advice
@@jaybman2700 absolutely 👍🏽. If you can’t get to it, then you should be good. Stay safe!
From what I heard on this channel and other UA-cam channels devoted to Mopar features - -
If a Mopar has a sunroof, the sunroof makes it easier just to break in.
The factory dropped the ball on this ...
Absolutely fantastic video Racer X. 👍🏻
I’m at the point where I don’t leave my Scat Widebody unattended. That’s my baby. Again great vid love it when you cover the Dodge content. Buy another older challenger and build it up.
Something to consider??
Maybe we’ll catch ya next summer at Road Kill Nights.
Crime is out of control all across the country. We know who is responsible.
I was going to purchase a scat pack factory ordered this past year. I actually love the cars BUT after seeing the stigma and theft that is attached to these cars I purchased another type of muscle car that I love and can sleep at night because I'm not worried about it getting stolen. I also saw the video where racer x did basically the same by switching brands. It's just a dam shame about these cars and the people who ruin it for everyone. Dodge needs to step up and do so much better with the security systems.
2015 B5 392 Challenger SRT stolen in February in Atlanta, Georgia - not yet recovered
2017 Jeep GC SRT stolen in Dallas, Texas - recovered 2 weeks later.
Sad we have to live on high alert just to enjoy something we’ve worked for and earned. Be careful everyone.
Check out the Z Automotive Tazer - they just added a feature where if you don't enter a pin through your cruise control buttons it locks the brakes & you can't move the car...
Where can you get this taser?
@@jerodlewis1356 Z Automotive.
@@Bandit77TA thanks
I don’t leave my car anywhere. If it comes out I’m in it or it’s parked where I can see it at all times.
If you don't want you're car stolen, put the keys in a metal box at home so their software can't get at the signal from the key fob.
With so many unethical dealers out there, its easy to imagine thieves getting some help from a disgruntled or underpaid service dept employee OR back of the office with access to credit app with a buyers home and employer address. Someone at a dealer service would be perfect to scope type of security system on vehicle too...
That Demon is on a boat to Saudi Arabia, Dubai or something like that. Sorry for those who have lost. And wish the best to Jay!
U right! The thieves will get big money for those cars. I also heard some places in S. America are destinations, as well.
I seen a 5.7 Charger Daytona stolen on UA-cam and the owner was shot by multiple people...smh
The fact that you guys don't know how to easily protect your cars is crazy !!
It's crazy I don't even want to drive my 1320 anymore. It stays locked in my garage unless I can stay with it outside and not leave it's side. Usually just a joy ride or a car show. It really is sad that so many are being jacked.
Airtags are so helpful
Speaking of stolen. I put 100 down on Hummer EV and haven’t heard a word! This is part of the charging over MSRP but almost “theft” in sense taking money
My wife has a scat pack Challenger. The dealership swapped out the key fobs. According to them the fobs are being hacked or something. It's a certain demographic that's the problem but you aren't supposed to talk about it. I am speaking from experience .we had a half dozen cars stolen in the last few years .
Simple trick. Pop the fuse box and take the ignition relay out like I do. Amazon also sells great GPS products for 20 bucks a month
You do it every night you park it?
Spot on! I commented elsewhere here that I like to pull the fuel system relay fuse whenever I will be away from my ride for a length of time. Between that and that my car being Manual, it should motivate the would be thief to move to an easier target.
@@thullraven1 Instead of pulling the fuel system relay fuse, couldn't you just put a switch on it?
IGLA or do that RHF hub update to stop keys from being created
I have a RED widebody scatty. It's in the garage. Never leaves unless I'm going to work.
That box is a transponder, and it picks up the signal of the key fob, and lets them copy that info onto a blank so they can just take it, and rekey it...
IGLA IGLA IGLA! I got mine installed at 1320 motorsports of tampa on my hellcat and my ram 1500, sometimes i lock myself out of my own car with how good it works lol.
Yeah hope Jay’s doing good. The theft’s are a big concern especially since brand new challengers and chargers are soon to be irreplaceable. I guess the bright side of replacing them with 6 cylinder (no matter how much HP)or EVs (no matter how fast )no one will want to steel it
That’s false ppl will steal anything they can
@@mcghee8071 true
John Anderson, Hope that it never happens. I have said in the past, thieves will steal a pile of dirt. Scumbags!
Buy The Club made for trucks, install it backwards on the steering wheel. Turn your front tires all the way left or right before installing it. Never had a problem on my classic car.
Make it harder for thieves to steal
