He folks,
This RV Camping campground is at Natchez State Park just north of Natchez Mississippi off of Hwy 61 in Adams county. This Mississippi State Park Campground has 50 RV Camping sites and 8 primitive sites. While in the state park you can go fishing, bike riding, walk a nature trail or just sit back by the campfire in the evening to enjoy a cracklng fire and lightning bugs / fireflies. During our stay there was a bit of road construction on "State Park Road" so consider calling for more information. Note; don't depend on your cell phone or navagation apps to get you there. Cell service for AT&T and Verizon were spotty.
We set up our 189R Retro in site 46, a very peaceful and out of the way site on Loop B.
As you will see we visited a few local attractions and had a wonderful lunch at The Old Counrty Store Restaurant a few miles north of the campground.
We do these campground reviews and drive though videos of every place we go rv camping to help as many fellow RVers as possible. If you find value in this video, and our channel, go ahead and hit the subscribe button. It’s free to subscribe and hit that notification bell too so you’ll know when we upload our next video:) We’d appreciate it as it helps other RVers to see our videos. We do these videos of every campground, every site, everytime.

If you missed the Red Lick Plantation home you should visit it .. close to the old store… I once help my dad paint the place… green shutters … I was about 12 yrs old… good memories now I’m 74
I bet they are good memories, we'll go back and find it. Maybe even a day trip there.

Cool video . We are staying there July 4 for the Music festival.
Awesome, the Mudbug festival?
FYI, I forgot to mention it in the video, the detour road is rough with low tree limbs. Our Retro is short but if you have a larger rig you might want to keep an eye out.
It’s a music festival. Alabama is going to be there Sunday the third. Natchez state park is also a WMA we put in for the draw archery hunt every year. Don’t always get drawn but have camped there a few times.
Thanks for the great info on this park and Natchez. We’ve been wanting to make a camping trip to the Natchez area and thought about trying out Grand Gulf Military Park in Port Gibson, but after seeing this we may have to stay at Natchez State Park.
It was a very relaxing experince when we were there. We're going to look into Grand Gulf, it might be a nice trip for us, thanks!
Thanks for watching.
Safe travels 🙂
@@RetroRVReconwe have camped at Grand Gulf a few times… also enjoy our visit

When we were last there the Mississippi Health Department was counting ticks lol… true … the agent lady would put a blanket down on the grass and see how many ticks she caught… I think if there were so many it would justify park spraying. The Agent lady said she goes to all the Mississippi state parks and collects this data… that day she had her mom riding with her … mom was in her 90’s
😳😳😳
Hey Wayne.
I bet that was something to witness. We've found ticks (they found us) only a few times over the years. We try not to venture away from the campground in hot weather because of them.
We prefer camping most in "not summer" lol.
About the agent, I hope I'll be able to look for tick in my 90s. 😁😁😃😃
Thanks for watching out video.
