    RV Camping at Indian Creek Recreation Area in Woodworth, Louisiana
    Hey folks,
    We took our Retro 189R travel trailer to another beautiful Louisiana campground, Indian Creek Recreation Area. Its 20 minutes south of Alexandrea in Woodworth, Louisiana, five minutes from I-49 and the Kisatchie National Forest. We had great weekend in this Louisiana campground . We did a complete campground drive thru and the site walk around so you too can see everything we saw in Indian Creek Recreation Area as well as a few places in Woodworth, Louisiana. Indian Creek Recreation Area is great for RV camping, tent camping, swimming, bike riding, hiking, boating and fishing. Its a great campground with a family atmosphere.
    We hope you find the video helpful as well as entertaining.

    Love Indian creek. This is where me and my husband camp all the time. Be careful on the way to camp though because it’s a speed trap. Can’t even go one mile over the speed limit. Seriously 😮We love to go tubing in the lake.

      Hey Carolina
      There is no joking about that! We got a heads up from someone in New Roads Louisiana about the speed traps in Woodworth La. 😳
      Sure enough, once we were in the area we saw police set up shooting radar.
      We had a blast at this campground. All the Cajun music and people...We felt right at home.🙂🙂🙂
      Thanks for watching our video!

      Hey Lillian!
      "Bobby Joe"!! 😀😀😀
      Yes, I talked about him and the gathering y'all had for several days after our weekend there. I share stories with Angel about my Cajun family and how y'all reminded me of those times. It was a very welcome surprise. I thought about my father a lot those following days. Thank all of y'all for that, it was a great gift. ☺
      Angel and I look forward to seeing y'all again, next time, save us a spot!😀(We'll stop at Billy's and load up on crawfish boudin!)😋
      Thanks Lillian for watching our video and all of y'all that weekend!!

    Thank you for the detailed tour! Seems the premium spots are less crowded and more shade? What is the difference in the premium spot and full hook up RV spot? Thank you in advance and camp on!

    • @RetroRVRecon
      @RetroRVRecon  8 місяців тому +1

      Hey Michael
      The "Premium" sites ($30 per night) are located next to the water while the "Full Hook-up" sites ($35 per night) are not. I'm not sure if all "Premium" sites are full hook-ups. You may have to call the campground for specific site details. We don't mind sites with only water and electric since its just to two of us so we just try to get water front sites. We really enjoyed this campground, we feel that the majority of the sites are very nice camp sites.
      We hope this information helps you and thanks for watching our video, Michael!

    I love our state but we have got some very trashy people and it’s evident in campgrounds and along our roadways . We have got to do better. This is what we’re passing on to our younger generations. If you bring it, pack it out with you. It’s not that hard.

    • @RetroRVRecon
      @RetroRVRecon  Рік тому +1

      Hi Sean, we absolutely agree. We try to leave the places we visit a little cleaner. Some folks just don't care. Indian Creek personnel mentioned to us that if they didn't clean up every morning it would quickly turn into a messy campground. It is sad and you're right, it isn't that hard to clean up behind yourself.😒
      Thanks for watching our video and thanks for being part of the solution!😙👍

    Are the sites wheelchair flat?

    • @RetroRVRecon
      @RetroRVRecon  2 місяці тому

      Hey Rhonda.
      I can't say for certain. In my opinion, not all of them are safe for a wheelchair. Sites 80, 82 and 120 are wheelchair accessible. You may try calling the campground for better details.
      Hope that help!!
      Thanks for the question and thanks for watching out video, Rhonda.

      Hi Mary.
      That's awful! We've had a few experiences like that in other campgrounds. It takes away from the peaceful camping experience. Our experience at Indian Creek there was quite nice but I'm sure it can be lively in the summer months.
      We hate to hear you had a unpleasant trip. We hope you find a nice quiet campground, they're out there!!
      Thank you for watching our video, Mary.
      Best of luck.🙂
