Just found your pictures last night. Was hooked for an hour looking at your videos. Amazing... brings back so many memories.. Big smile on my face ... Might not live there anymore but always my home town. Thank you!! ❤️😊
Does anyone know what Sky Edge was ? I used to play on there in the 1950’s. I lived on Duke Street, but I had a friend who lived on Manor Lane & we would play up there in the school holidays. Was it a Bomb site or just left-over land from building works ?

Sheffield the City that never sleeps. There should be way more songs about Sheffield
The house in the photo at 0.55 is still there and its now a sweet shop.
St Vincents, my old primary school.
I find the music as interesting as the pictures. What is it, please?

About the only thing you couldn't buy at the Castle Market was time.
I’m sure a stall had it under the counter 😂
Sheffield is always being re-built. Like being married to a plastic surgery addict with multiple personality disorder.
Usually by people who have no thought for the city and how it looks.
@@justoldsheffieldphotos7868 A city on the move. Too fast for some of us.
